Link PoV

As I walked through the lush forest I started to get more and more aware as the stillness of the air alarmed me. It seemed as though someone or something was following me but was trying their absolute hardest to stay quiet. It got to the point where it bothered me so much I drew the Master Sword from its scabbard. After a while of walking I pulled my shield out and kept it close to me.

I felt the stillness of the air waver as something stepped seemingly on a stick close to me. Turning around I brought my sword to my side and put my shield between me and the bush. Two sets of eyes set their sights on me as I heard growling from the bush.

Then it leaped at me.

"Aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhjrijihirhjdhduhrij" The thing growled out.

I deflected the incoming swipe of the claw. As I recovered from the recoil I looked at the beast more closely. Its red eyes glaring as its metallic body got into another tense pouncing position. Its canine-like ears twitching every time make so much of a breath. We stared into each other's eyes as it circled around me, just waiting for me to let down my guard. Finally, after what seemed to be forever, it moved towards me and pounced. This time I rolled to the side and slashed at its side. It tried to nick me with a swift bite but I activated daruk's protection just in time.

"AAAAAAAARRRRGHGHTTJNYFNGGCM" The thing growled out again

It's having a stroke again. After a while of evading I went on the offensive and started to wail on the poor creature. It tried to get away but before it could I stabbed it in the neck.

Marth PoV

I looked down at the field as Roy ran up to me along with Young Link

"Hey Roy, you looked alarmed. You're not scared of battle."

"What!? No actually I think I'll be more ready than you'll ever be-"

Young Link elbowed him in the ribs with a 'get to the point face'

"Right, I am not scared, but worried. It has been informed that Link has gone to the west forest"

My eyes widened as I gripped my sword, Falchion. I started pacing. After a while I stopped walking and looked at both of them.

"Change of plans. Roy, go get Byleth and Robin. I'll go and dispatch the distraction team in that area."

"Got it"

Roy ran off with Young Link following close by. I then ran back to the barracks.

"Oy Fox, Falco, and Cap get suited up getting dispatched right now."

"Wait what?" Fox said getting up from inspecting his ship.

"You have ears. Use 'em. See you at 5."

Cap looked at Fox with a confused look. He could only shrug.

"I'll explain later, ok?"

Roy PoV

I ran back to the barracks with Young Link. I stopped by every room to shout out how Link is in the forest. Until I came across (M)Byleth walking through the hall with his creator sword at his side. (M)Byleth grabbed my arm.

"Why the rush" (M)Byleth said, eyebrow raised.

"Link went to that forest"

(M)Byleth quickly caught on and rushed to his cave- I mean his room and came out with 2 throwing knives.

"Had these just in case" he said as he passed me

"Ok?"

I ran to my room in a big hurry, grabbing my binding blade, and grabbed my version of the map

and went on my merry way.
