women are supposed to be kind (never cruel)

women are supposed to be polite (never rude)

women are supposed to weave flowers through their fingers (never knives)

women are supposed to let themselves be ruined (never the ruiner) 

women are supposed to give life (never take)

women are supposed to be confined in pretty gilded cages (never free)

women are supposed to be conquered (never the conquerer) 

women are simply supposed to be. ever calm and quiet and docile 

(but what if i were to tell you of a land without confines. where women are free to draw blood and bite and scream and ruin. where their flaws and cruelty are admired and shared, never stifled. 

what if i were to tell you the gold of  the cages they hold us in can be melted and molded and made anew)

bite through their flesh, bear your violence with sharp smiles and teach them what it means to be a woman.
