torontojim VS MadMikeMarsbergen

'I am giving my vote to Torontojim
I enjoyed Mike's 4th wall smashing romp of fuckery a lot. Several laugh out loud moments and I don't think I will be able to eat avocados for a while. But Jim absolutely blew me away with that breathtaking winding story of pain, memory, and forgiveness. A truly magical tale and the mother/ son relationship was so beautiful to read.'

'Okay! So,. I dunno what's goin gon (story of my life) but I just read MadMikeMarsbergen's latest Smackdown story, and all that I can say is WTF?
I don't know what I read, other than lots o' cuss words. And gross stuff like that. Classic Mad Mike, to be sure, but not exactly SkyPunk, I do not believe. Not so much a SciFi either.
I guess the problem is that there isn't enough Tequila in the world to help me figure out what Mike's story is about. Maybe if I switched to Rum.
Brazilian Pirainhas are da bomb.

Toronto Jim tells an engaging tale. Much more like a SkyPunk, whatever that may be. But again, not so much a SciFi. Very LitFic-cy however, which is good, I think, considering the images he was to choose from. Like Mad Mike's strange tale, Toronto JIm's was also tough to follow - but for very different reasons (obviously!) There were too many pronouns - lotsa HE's and SHE's and THE MAN and THE WOMAN, and THE BOY and THE WHOEVER. Adding that to all the scene jumping, traveling back and forth in time. going from here to there, I'm left to sit and think, "Okay... who are we talking about now? And when and where are we?" But other than that, Jim's tale was an engaging one. And I like LitFic. So point to torontojim.'

Now as you're aware, due to a judging drop-out I opted to host a tie-breaker round (and yeah I know, I know this wasn't a tie in the first place, but sit down and be quiet, 'cos I make the rules!)

The following is the judging for that tie-breaker, for which was the only judge.

'Right... It's no secret I'm a fan of some crazy-ass shit and Mike's 'Cuntpunt,' definitely falls into that category. I don't know the rules of the game, nor do I care... I do know that I want to play it though!

Pussywillow Stabbing Victim's track titles made me snort Red Bull out of my nostrils... 'Your Face Looks Like My Ass, So Naturally I Fucked It Quite Hard,' being a particular highlight!

Jim's story though? Well shit, I don't even know where to begin. Suffice it to say I enjoyed it immensely and the rules of Kubat Teli though somewhat vague and the expected combination of a variety of sports are explained plenty well enough to know(ish) what's going on.

It was the characters, Felder and Gunny in particular, who made this story. Well worked and pretty well developed, the kinda' characters I'd definitely like to read more about...

So yeah, victory in this tie-breaker goes to torontojim! Congratulations, Sir!
