Yes, it's a been a month. A crazy one at that. Let me tell ya, 8th grade ain't fun and games. Well, I'm back, and hopefully here to stay. Thank you all so much for 30K, I'm honestly surprised we made it this far! Here's to 40 and beyond!

Rae and I walked Melody over to the mansion.

We knocked on the front door after turning off the security system for the gate, and 505 let us in.

"Wow! He's big!" Melody exclaimed seeing 505.

505 then proceeded to carry her on their back, since they love children.

Melody was having fun so it was okay.

We all walked to the lab, and that's when Melody started to get nervous.

"N/n..I don't want to go in," She gripped my hand after getting off of 505.

"What's wrong, honey?" Rae asked.

"I-I c-can't.." she stuttered.

"It's gonna be okay, no ones gonna hurt you," I patted her head.

She gripped my shirt as we walked down the stairs to the lab.

"Hey Ty," I smiled as he turned in his swivel chair.

"Oh, hello, Y/n, Rae, and..who's this?"

He squatted down to Melody's height after walking over.

She hid behind me, whimpering.

"I'm not going to hurt you, pequeño," He held out his hand.

She hesitantly took it, her arm shaking.

"My name is Tyler, what is yours?"

"M-Melody.."

"Melody, that's a lovely name. I'm glad to meet you, Melody."

"See? It's alright, Melody."

Black Hat came into the room, Demencia following after.

"Ah, Y/n. How was your rest?" He smiled.

I already knew what he meant so I answered him by kicking him in the leg.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry dear."

"Hello to you too," Rae rolled her eyes, snickering.

"Oh, it's you," Black Hat scoffed at her.

"I was just introducing Melody to Flug," I told him.

Melody was off playing with Demencia, Rae and 505, so I got a chance to talk to Black Hat and Flug in private.

"I think you're theory of her being experimented on was right," I said to Black Hat.

"She was..what?" Tyler looked suprised.

"Yeah. She has these scars on her back, she was afraid to come into the lab and was afraid of you, and that lab coat makes you look like a scientist."

"That's because I am-"

"That is beside the point," Black Hat interrupted him, "If you really are competent, you must examine her and see how strong her power is."

"Power? W-What?"

"Did you not tell him?" I asked Black Hat.

"I did not."

"Flug..she killed people."

"What?"

"She's psychokinetic."
