"Breathing levels are getting low..."

"Try reviving her again!"

"CLEAR!"

My eyes shot open.

I heard distant voices, and the sound of a heart beating.

The beat got slower.

"AGAIN!"

"CLEAR!"

I felt a wave of shock course through my body.

What was happening? I had no idea.

The land surrounding me was odd.

It was fuzzy at first.

"..it's a flatline.."

"Try again. One more."

"CLEAR!"

I felt the shock again.

The world around me got more visible.

A field of golden wheat and hay stalks covering most of the portion.

There was a tree on the hill, the white blossoms ripe from spring.

The air was clean, crisp.

The sky was clear, except for a few clouds.

I was frozen, not able to move, nor speak.

"She's gone."

The voices suddenly ceased.

I could finally move my joints, followed by wiggling my fingers, and soon walking around.

I explored the field, finding vast types of flowers and insects.

It was beautiful, pure bliss.

That heart beat in the wind had stopped.

As I walked up the hill, I heard familiar humming.

It buzzed louder and louder as I drew nearer to the tree.

I walked around the large trunk to face..her.

"..Mom?"

Her white hair, cut short, swiveled as her face, bright as ever turned to mine.

A smile sweet as honey rose on her face.

"Hello, Starlight, Fancy seeing you here," She opened her arms to me, letting me embrace, her sobbing.

"You've done so well, my daughter.."

"No mom, I haven't..."

"Don't talk like that. I have so many things to ask you."

"I have so many things to tell you," I smiled back at her, sitting beside her against the tree.

"Why are you here?" She asked.

I raised an eyebrow, "I, Uh, think that's kinda obvious mom. I died."

"Well, Yeah, But why?"

"I got hit by a car. Pretty pathetic way to go in my opinion," I rolled my eyes.

"While saving two orphan's lives! That's a virtue."

"I guess.."

"Why did you leave your loved ones? Why'd you leave your boyfriend?"

"You know?!"

"Honey, I've seen everything that's happened to you so far from here. Your story cannot end like this, child," My Mother smirked.

"My life isn't a story..besides, he doesn't love me, and the feeling is mutual."

"Y/n, you literally just told him that you still loved him," Mom raised her eyebrows.

"I-I..ughhhhh!," I grumbled in frustration, "Fine! I still love him! But what's the point?? It's not like he cares about me!"

"Y/n..I love you, but you can be so naive sometimes."

"What do you mean?"

"ONCE MORE!"

"She's gone, doctor."

"CLEAR!"

I felt the surge in my body again.

I heard the thumping too, slow and steady, but starting to pick up.

My vision began to get blurry as well.

"I knew it. They want you back."

"Mom? What's going on?"

"Y/n, you're not ready to be here. You have people waiting for you. People who love you."

"But-"

"No buts. I love you. Oh and  can tell Black Hat that besides what he recently just did, he's doing a great job at being your lover, for me? I think it's time you forgive him."

I nodded, "Bye Mom. Love you."

"Love you too, Starlight."

"WE GOT A PULSE!"

I closed my eyes, ready to go back to the real world.

"And one more thing."

"Hm?"

"Tell your real dad I love him for me."
