My eyes opened to nothing but black.

"Uhhhhh..my head..." I groaned.

It felt like someone bashed me in the head with a hammer.

"Where the fuck am I?" I grumbled, alarm rising in my voice.

I heard footsteps nearby, so I assumed someone was close by.

"Hey, anyone there??"

No answer.

"Answer me! I know someone is there!"

I heard a sigh, coming from a deep voice.

"Who the hell are you and why am I here? Why'd you kidnap me?"

"It doesn't and shouldn't matter to you," The voice said.

I felt hands on the sides of my face, cold and hard, removing my blindfold.

There was a man standing in front of me, he wore blue scrubs, the kind a nurse would wear.

Along with a white lab coat, and slip proof shoes.

His hear was long and purple, tied into a loose ponytail.

His eyes were emerald green, and he had one gold tooth shimmering from the corner of his mouth.

The place we were in looked like an old warehouse, possibly even a factory.

Standing next to him was a metal surgical table, a syringe with green, bubbly liquid inside of it.

This immediately made me afraid.

"Wh-What's that for?! Are you gonna kill me?!" I freaked out.

"Calm down. I'm most likely not going to have to use it, well, as long as your boyfriend comes."

"..Black Hat??"

"Yeah. You're lucky, you know that? He's filthy rich, you're set for life with him."

"Really? You think I'm with him for money?"

"What else could it mean? What- you love him? Impossible. How could you love that tyrant?" The Man cackled.

"I do! Why should that matter to you, anyways?!"

"I'm just curious. I wanna get to know my bait. Haven't you realized you're a weak point for him. I've heard through the grape vine that his powers a decreasing and little special somebody in his life is the reason."

I was taken aback by this remark.

"It's not my fault!"

"Oh but it is, he's been teleporting great distances for you."

"How do you.."

He leaned his face over mine, his hand resting on the table, "I know everything that has happened between you two and I can tell you one thing."

He stood up straight again.

"Your father is in his last days, Y/n. Sooner or later, he's gonna die, and all that money will be passed on to you, and I think you know who already knows that."

My eyes widened, "You mean..?"

"He's using you, Y/n. Think about how he got all lovey-dovey after you met your dad. He was nearby so he must've done a check on him and figured out that once he dies, the moneys all yours. If you two get married, all that money goes to him as well."

"No! That's a lie! Black Hat would never betray me for money!"

"Think about it! He's a villain. It's in his nature to do things like that," He sighed again, "It's honestly saddening me to see you so naive."

"He wouldn't do that to me!" I yelled in denial.

His words sunk in.

'What if this guy is right? Would Black Hat really do something like that to me? Does he really not love me?'

The man looked at his cell phone,

"Speaking of the Devil..he's here!"
