I smashed into the glass, some pieces cutting open my face, some falling past me to the ground.

The world seemed so slow, everything moving so quietly and slightly.

My eyes closed a bit from the light of the sun.

My life flashed before my eyes.

Memories of the past, some recent.

I tended to focus on the subject of the people that I see everyday.

Flug..Demencia..505..Y/n...

Is this what it feels like to die?

I never thought I'd experience this again.

'..Y/n..'

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Y/n.

She looked scared, her mouth gaping open.

I could tell that scream for me was from her.

'Godammit..I cant die! I can't leave her! I can't leave the business and Flug and everyone since they'd have no idea what to do but Y/n is something I just can't leave,' I yelled internally.

As I fell I realized where I was heading for, the lake in the back/courtyard.

Terrible for me since, well, I can't swim.

As perfect as I thought I was, I'm not.

I'm a failure.

//Your POV//

"BLACK HAT!" I screamed at the top of my lung as he fell at least 50 feet.

He plunged from the sky all the way to the lake at the bottom.

Tyler, 505, Demencia, and I ran up to the lake to see if he's okay.

"Where is he?" I asked, as it was hard to see through the murky water.

"I-I don't know! I would have figured he would have come up by now unless..he can't swim."

"Of course boss could swim, he can do anything!" Demencia denied.

"Well, I'm not waiting to find out. Any longer in that water and he'll freeze or drown. Demon or not."

"Y-Y/n, no! It's too dangerous."

I ignored him, threw off my mask, took a deep breath and dived into the water.

I was right, the water was absolutely freezing!

It was hard to see and the water stung my eyes but I eventually found him floating.

I swam faster to him and held him up.

//Black Hat's POV//

As I floated in the dark turquoise water, I saw a figure illuminated by the sun.

'An angel?'

Once she got close, I saw it was Y/n, holding out her arms for me.

'No..it's my angel..'

She put her hands on my shoulders pressed her lips on mine.

She was...kissing me?

'Wait..shes giving me air!' I realized.

I cupped my hands on her cheeks and managed to inhale the air bubbles, giving me a little longer underwater.

I came to my senses as we separated and  I pulled her body to mine and managed to swim upwards, her kicks guiding me.

As ascended, the struggle became harder and harder, she had fallen limp.

We finally reached the surface and I pulled us out of the water.

I laid Y/n on the ground as she coughed up water.

"Take deep breaths.." I told her, patting her back as she sat up.

"S-Sir! Y/n! Thank goodness.." Flug sighed.

"That bastard got away?"

"The a-assassin? We t-tried to stop him sir, but they were already gone. They just disappeared."

"Damn. I figured he would do that."

"Do y-you know him?"

"Who I know doesn't concern you," I growled him, shutting him up.

"Black Hat..whats going on?" Y/n asked.

"You just saved me, and I'm grateful."

"Huh...you're welcome," She smiled a little.

She stood up, shivering a little, and faced the now broken window, "What the hell happened in there?"

"Believe it or not, there's someone as strong as me out there, and I think I know what they want," I stood next to her.

"No way.." Demencia gawked.

I turned to Flug, "Get her to the infirmary, she's a little cut from the glass in the water."

"B-But what about you, jefe?"

"I'll heal. Demencia and 505, make the guests leave. We're done today," I started walking off.

As I started walking, Y/n caught up to me.

"Are you sure you're okay? She asked me.

I only nodded.

I had a lot I needed to think over

"Y/n, I think it's best if you go back to California."

"What?!"

"It's dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt," I put my hands on her shoulders.

"But I wanna be there for you! I can't just sit there and let you get hurt!"

"She can stay with me. I have an extra room," Rae stepped up.

"Really?!" Y/n smiled.

"But Y/n, you work in the U.S, how are you gonna get income?" I asked her.

"I can work from here, most of the stuff I do is on a computer anyways?" She shrugged.

"We can talk about it tomorrow," Rae promised.

I realized there was no way I could talk her out of this, I could see it in her eyes.

I was upset (to say the least) on how the evening turned out, but at least one good thing came out of it.

I went to my office after freshening up and skipped dinner.

There was nothing else to say

I had a strong feeling this incident will and already has evolved into a big problem.

I finally have him where I want him.

I can finally become a fulfilling villain and take over his empire.

Black Hat has gotten weak, his powers are deteriorating as a I predicted and soon, he'll be no more.

And maybe...I've found a new pawn in my plan..this human.

She alone may be my trump card to victory to win this.
