jimin had take off running towards taehyung the moment his eyes caught sight of the other; and taehyung may or may not just have dropped the grocery bags and the umbrella to the puddled ground just to catch jimin. 

jimin ran to him, then jumped on him and engulfed him in a bone crushing hug. 

"jimin? are you okay? what happened?" 

"t-taehyung-ah..." jimin cupped both taehyung's cheeks and that's when he noticed jimin had been crying. 

he just looked in his eyes and waited for him to say something. 

"i think i like you more than necessary, maybe even-" 

"i love you too." taehyung cut jimin off, resting his forehead against the other. 

the rain, his bags on the ground didn't matter right now.

jimin started sobbing, his form shaking in taehyung's hold. a smile spread on lips and he started laughing. 

taehyung watched patiently as all the feelings washed over jimin and when he finally calmed down, taehyung's breath got caught knowing what was to come.

jimin took his sweet time staring deep into taehyung's eyes and caressing his cheekbones but then he leaned forward, placing his lips on top of the taller's. 

taehyung kissed back immediately. both could feel it all, the sparkles, the tingles, the heat and the water droplets on their faces too. but the thing they most felt was the love. the sincerity of the kiss, the pure emotions. 

their lips kept moving together for a long time until taehyung broke the kiss, forehead still resting against jimin's. 

and when he looked into the smaller's eyes, he could've sworn he saw his entire universe in them.
