RECAP:

SASUKE P.O.V.

Kakashi gave the girl a uncertain look.

Wanting to know if she was saying the truth I slipped out a kunai from my pocket throwing it at her.

The noise of metal meeting metal echoed through the forest.

"That was pretty dangerous Uchiha-san, if I didn't do that it could have hit Kakashi-san," the girl smiled as she threw the kunai back at me. The sharp blade stuck to the tree right next to my head. I smirked slightly impressed at her aim.

My smirk disappeared when I saw Kakashi gave me a disproving look, not such a good idea maybe.

THIRD PERSON P.O.V.

"Um, Kakashi-san, I never really met your teams, and the only reason I knew he was an Uchiha was because of his shirt," Yuzuki smiled sweetly as she span a kunai with her finger.

'She has fast reflex, she was able to notice Sasuke's attack before I even did. And her aim was perfect' Kakashi though as he stared at the rather small dark brown haired girl next to him.

"Introduce your selves," Kakashi mutter as he retrieved his book off the ground and lean against the tree.

"Uzumaki Naruto dattebayo! I'm going to Hokage one day!" Naruto yelled energetically earning a giggle from Yuzuki. Though she frowned to herself, 'Where have I heard that name before?' she questioned herself

The girl nodded and took Naruto's hand into her, "I bet you'll be able to, you'll be as awesome as Hokage-sama," Naruto surprised at her answer grinned brightly and sat next to her. Instantly deciding he liked her.

Kakashi slightly smiled at her words and continued to read his book.

"I'm Sakura Haruno, yoroshiku ne," Sakura smiled kindly at Yuzuki. Though she was hoping she wouldn't go near her Sasuke-kun.

Yuzuki continued to stare at Sakura making the pinknette uncomfortable.

"Is something wrong Yuzuki-chan?"

Yuzuki shook her and smiled brightly, "Sorry Sakura-san, Your hair and eyes are so pretty!" Yuzuki complemented, "I've never seen such pretty color before! Its so unique!"

Sakura blushed lightly and was taken back at how honest Yuzuki was being. Sakura's mood instantly went up, nobody every said that to her before, she was slightly glad she tried to look good today.

"Lets be friends, ok, Yuzuki-chan?" the brunette nodded happily before looking at Sasuke who was standing a bit away from them.

"Teme! Stop being so quiet and introduce yourself to Yuzuki-chan!" Naruto yelled earning a glare from both Sasuke and Sakura.

"Hn," Sasuke huffed as he looked at Yuzuki in the eyes, "Sasuke Uchiha,"

Yuzuki suddenly grinned at Sasuke before appearing in front of him, 'Fast! She was there seconds ago!' Kakashi and Sasuke both thought.

"Sasuke-san! Its amazing you're an Uchiha!" she chirped as she looked into his eyes, "You're so lucky your such a strong ninja! The sharingan is amazing, I'm hoping that we can spar one day!"

Sasuke took a surprised step back making Kakashi chuckle lightly.

Yuzuki complimented all three of them, all honest opinion of hers.

"Anyways," Yuzuki turned to Kakashi, "Please Kakashi-san, please help me!"

Kakashi closed his book and looked at Yuzuki, "I have a deal, spar with Naruto and Sakura, if you're able to hold against them I'll teach you some jutsu," Yuzuki beamed brightly and jumped happily.

"Weapons as well?" Sakura questioned with worry. Kakashi nodded with a closed eye smile.

"Ok Sakura go first," the brunette took a step towards Sakura making the pinknette suddenly tense.

Sakura slipped her hand into her pouch to grab a kunai but gasped when she was suddenly pulled back and thrown against a tree, at her neck was a thin but powerful arm, and to her jugular was pointed a sharp kunai.

"Was that ok, Kakashi-san," Yuzuki questioned as she let Sakura go gently.

"H-How!" Sakura gasped as she slumped on the floor in shock.

"Shadow clone jutsu, I used it distract you, while I sneaked behind you," Yuzuki kindly explained while the three males stared at the girl in shock.

"Yuzuki-chan! You know the shadow clone jutsu too?" Naruto beamed as he stared at the brunette.

Yuzuki remembered how Kakashi told her he had a student who can do the shadow clone jutsu as well, she conclude Naruto was that student.

Yuzuki turned towards Sakura and grabbed the pinknette's hand and pulled her to her feet.

"Sorry Sakura-San, I might have thrown you against the tree a bit too hard," Yuzuki's brown eyes were filled with guilt as she apologized to Sakura.

Though the pinknette just smiled and nodded at Yuzuki, accepting her apologies.

'Could training with Gai changed her this much?' Kakashi questioned himself as he watched Yuzuki with narrow eyes.

Sasuke on the other hand was slightly impressed at the new girls action, 'At least she's better then Sakura, when did she even do the jutsu?' He thought in confusion.

Kakashi coughed bring Sasuke and other out of their thought, "Alright Naruto, your up!"

The called blonde jumped up from where he was sitting and looked at Yuzuki with determine grin, "Yuzuki-chan! I'm going to beat you, datte bayo!" With that he charged at Yuzuki at full force with a kunai.

Yuzuki pulled out her own kunai and countered his attack though she slid back by the force of impact.

'She still doesn't have the strength to hold against Naruto though' Kakashi thought as he watched the two fight.

Soon the fight turned to Taijutsu, as they evened out. Naruto was heavily panting while Yuzuki's breath was a bit uneven.

Naruto suddenly clasped his hand together doing quick hand sign.

Yuzuki's brown eyes narrowed before she jumped back knowing what jutsu he was going to do.

"Kage bunshin no jutsu!" Naruto yelled. Yuzuki's eyes widen as forty or more Naruto surrounded her.

The brunette gritted her teeth knowing she couldn't fight them all off, taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and clasped her hand together.

'Ox, Monkey, Hare, Rat, Boar' she thought and chatted in her head thinking about all the forty-four hand sign.

"Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu!" She screamed. Kakashi's eyes widen in shock as he pulled his headband that was covering his sharing an eye off, staring at the small girl.

Water stared pouring out of the dry ground until a medium sized water dragon was in front of the brunette.

'H-How! Isn't that a B rank justu? How does she even know it!' Kakashi thought as he quickly copied the jutsu with his left eye.

Yuzuki was panting as she raised her hands and moved her arm in the air, the dragon let a furious roar and charged at all the panicked Naruto. Yuzuki then did the quick jutsu of kage bunshin and made two clones.

She jumped in a tree to rest while one of the clone stood where she was a while ago, while the other one hid in the bush.

Yuzuki was sweating lightly, using too much chakra wasn't the best choice. She watched as her clone controlled the dragon until all the clones were gone, leaving Naruto alone.

The dragon splashed into water and dropped to the ground leaving it soaking.

"Gah! What the heck datte bayo!" Naruto screamed and charged at Yuzuki with a Kunai. The clone suddenly disappeared making Naruto crash to the ground landing on his face.

"Idiot," Sasuke muttered as he looked at the fallen Naruto. He already knew that it was a clone and looked at the bush near him. He saw her hide in it while Naruto was distracted.

Naruto stood up and rubbed his face that was covered in mud, he suddenly threw his kunai at the bush where Yuzuki's clone was hiding.

"There!" He yelled.

The kunai pierced the bush and the clone let out a fake pained groan before changing into a log.

Team 7's eyed widen as they all ran towards the bush while Naruto was running around in panic.

"Ahhh! I hurt Yuzuki-chan! I didn't mean it datte bayo!" He screamed as he was close to anime tear.

"Baka Naruto!" Sakura was yelling in panic as well.

As Kakashi and Sasuke went to check the bush worriedly, their eyes narrowed as they found the log that had a kunai pierced in it.

"She's not here," Sasuke muttered alerting both Naruto and Sakura.

"What?"

Naruto started looking around but froze when he felt a cold metal against his neck.

"Never let you guard down until you know your enemy is down," Yuzuki smiled as she removed the kunai away from Naruto's neck. The blonde slumped onto the ground with shock while Kakashi and Sauke watched the brunette intently.

"Yuzuki how do you know that jutsu?" Kakashi questioned as he looked at the still muddy ground.

Yuzuki smiled her eyes bright, "Hokage-sama lent me a book filled with jutsu, and I just tried for the first time, I didn't think it was going to work!" She chirped as she put her kunai into a pocket in her shorts.

Sasuke smirked and took a step forward, "I'm next."

Yuzuki and Kakashi both frowned at his statement, "No," Kakashi stated making Sasuke's smirk to disappear.

"What? Why Kakashi-San?" Yuzuki questioned with confusion. She took a glance at the Uchiha interested in his fighting skills.

Kakashi smiled, "Well you already passed my standards,"

Sasuke grunted and looked away and leaned back into his tree disappointed.

"When will we start training?" Yuzuki excitedly questioned.

Kakashi smiled while he closed his book, "Tomorrow,"

A look of realization appeared on Yuzuki's face, "But Hokage-sama told me to train with you today, and then he'll find me a different teacher tomorrow," She frowned.

Kakashi also frowned but his mask covered it, "then I'll-"

"You'll train me right now, right," Yuzuki innocently smiled. Kakashi sweat dropped and shook his head.

"No, I'll tell Hokage-sama that you'll train with me tomorrow and after that you'll train with someone else."

The small girl pouted and gave a pleading look towards Kakashi, "Can you please show me one jutsu? Just one is alright!"

Kakashi and Yuzuki stared at each other, both of them not backing down. Kakashi sighed and looked away.

"Fine," he muttered. 'I'll show her a fire release, since she already has the water release she probably can't preform the jutsu,"

He frowned slightly feeling a bit bad as he watched Yuzuki happily jump up and down.

"What jutsu Kakashi-san?"

"The ummm, Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu,"

Sasuke gasped and stared at Kakashi wide eye, "She won't be able to do that jutsu," Sasuke muttered as he glared at his teacher.

Yuzuki snapped her head towards Sasuke and frowned at the Uchiha.

"Why do you say that? I haven't even tried it!" Yuzuki exclaimed as she stared at the dark haired boy.

"Hn," Sasuke looked away from the brunette's stare before leaning back against a tree.

Yuzuki was frowning but turned towards Kakashi with a smile, "Please show me the jutsu Kakashi-san,"

The silver hair jounin nodded and lead his team and Yuzuki to the lake.

Sasuke's face scrunched up with pain but quickly hid it with a stoic look. He pushed the thought of practicing the Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu here at this lake at very back of his head and jumped into a near by tree to watch Kakashi preform the jutsu.

"Alright, make sure to stand back, I don't feel like taking one of you to the hospital," Kakashi lazily said.

Naruto and Sakura took a warily step back while Yuzuki continued to stay at her spot. Kakashi sighed and preformed the signs of the jutsu.

'Horse, tiger, ram, monkey, boar, horse, tiger' Yuzuki thought quickly memorizing the sign.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" Kakashi yelled.

Naruto and Sakura shrieked in surprise and fell on their butts while Sasuke's eyes narrowed in surprise.

Yuzuki who stood closest to Kakashi gasped lightly, her brown eyes widen as Kakashi blew out a huge fireball she took a step back because of the scorching heat. She watched bright orange flame spread over the water. As the fire died out Yuzuki stared at Kakashi in a new respect.

"Ok, that's how, you do it," Kakashi lazily said while pulling out his usual books.

Yuzuki furiously nodded her head repeating the signs in her mind, "Ok, I'll prac-"

She stopped mid sentence as a messenger hawk squawked from above them. Kakashi looked up from his book and extended his arm out.

The bird flew down and landed on his arm. Kakashi took the small paper off the leg and quietly scanned through it.

*I'm hungry, I wonder if they have anything to eat* the hawk's voiced echoed through Yuzuki's head.

She stuck her hand in her jacket pocket and pulled out the left over onigri that she had for breakfast.

"Here, Mr. Hawk, thank you for your hard work," Yuzuki smiled extending her arm. The hawk quickly flew to her arm and ate the rice greedily while perched on her arm.

*You understand me don't you? I've heard rumors from other animals about a child who could understand us animals* The hawk questioned while he ate.

"Really? Rumors of me already spread? I hope they're not negative," Yuzuki chuckled as she petted the hawk's head.

Kakashi and his team stared at Yuzuki in confusion. Kakashi then remembered Kurenai saying something about her understanding Akamaru.

"Why is she talking to herself date bayo?" Naruto questioned as he stared at the brunette.

Yuzuki heard his comment smiled at him, "I was talking to him Naruto-kun, I can understand him,"

Sasuke and Sakura stared at her a bit surprised while Naruto's eyes gleamed with amazement.

"WOW!!!!! That's so cool!!!" Naruto yelled.

Yuzuki smiled and nodded happily.

*Oh, that's the kyuubi kid* the hawk muttered as it cleaned his feather.

Yuzuki looked at the hawk in confusion but shrugged it off and continued to pet him.

Kakashi coughed rather loudly catching all of the teen's attention.

"Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, we're called to the hokage's office, he has another D rank mission for us," Naruto and Sakura groaned loudly.

"Another D rank?" Naruto whined while Sasuke quietly nodded agreeing silently.

The silver haired jounin ignored his team and gave Yuzuki a closed eye smile, "Practice the jutsu and show me tomorrow, then we'll train,"

Yuzuki gave the silver haired jounin and determined nod and watched him poof away into smoke.

"Gah! He left us AGAIN!" Naruto grumbled, he turned towards Yuzuki with a childish grin, "I'll see you soon Yuzuki-chan!"

With that the blonde genin ran off leaving his two teammates.

"Hn," Sasuke arrogantly said sticking his hand into his pocket and walking off. He suddenly stopped and looked back.

"I still want a spar with you," he grunted and left.

Sakura had hearts in her eyes, "He's so hot," she gushed happily. The pinknette suddenly realized she just missed her chance to walk with her crush.

"Bye Yuzuki-chan! I need to catch up with Sasuke-kun! See you tomorrow!" She yelled as she ran after the ravenette.

Yuzuki stood alone by the lake and watched the water quietly. She gave herself a determine slap on her face.

"Alright! Let's do this!!!" Yuzuki yelled doing the hand signals.
