THIRD PERSON P.O.V

"Yuzuki, come here," Sarutobi called. The brunette quickly walked up to his desk and sat on his lap. Sarutobi frowned when he noticed how light the child felt, she was definitely smaller than the children her age. He knew he needed to make sure to make her eat more.

"Yes Hokage-sama?" Yuzuki quietly asked as she smiled up at Sarutobi who was lost in thought.

"I've heard you've trained with Kuranei yesterday, how was it?" He questioned smiling at the small child on his lap.

Yuzuki's smile widen, her eyes sparkling with joy, "It was wonderful Hokage-sama!" She exclaimed, "Kurenai-San taught me genjutsu! I was able to do it!" But Yuzuki suddenly frowned, "But I couldn't do it more than twice... Kurenai-San said that my chakra level aren't too high..."

Sarutobi frowned and nodded, "Yes, maybe we should go to Hiashi to check your chakra,"

Yuzuki tilted her head, "Who is Hiashi-San?"

"Hiashi is the Hyuga clan leader, the Hyuga have a special kekkei genkai that allows them to see chakra and how it flows around the body, they may be able to tell why you have so little chakra,"

Yuzuki nodded understanding Sarutobi's explanation.

"Hinata is an Hyuga, are they related somehow? When will we go Hokage-sama?" She questioned as she ran her hand through her short brown hair.

"We will go right now, I have finished today's work earlier than usual, after we visit Hiashi we'll go have dinner with Konohamaru, how does that sound?"

Yuzuki nodded enthusiastically before jumping off his lap and ran to the door.

"I'll be waiting outside Hokage-sama!" Yuzuki happily chirped before running off.

Sarutobi chuckled before slowly getting up from his seat to follow the young girl.

>>TIME SKIPS>>

Yuzuki nervously stood in front of Hiashi as he examined her with his light violet eyes. She quickly figured out that Hinata must be related to the man in front of her.

Yuzuki suddenly broke the silence, "Hiashi-San you have very pretty eyes, " she whispered the complement. Hiashi looked at her in surprise before the corner of his mouth tilted up into a small smile.

He was rather surprise how mature the girl the Hokage brought to him acted. She couldn't be any older than Hinata or Neji.

"Thank you Yuzuki, now let's see how your chakra moves, Hokage-sama please stand next to me," Hiashi stated as he activated his byakugan. He was honestly curious about this child, he has heard few rumor of the mysterious girl they found at the gate of Konoha.

His pale eyes slightly widen in surprise and confusion.

Strangely the chakra of the girl in front of him was very low, to say the truth lower than some civilian. He could barely even see it. He couldn't see how she was even able to perform one jutsu.

Another thing that made him shock was the color of the small amount of chakra she had, usually chakra were either a cloudy white or blue. But for her, her chakra had a strange but beautiful pure white and a tint of gold.

His eyes suddenly narrowed as he noticed chakra gathered near her heart. He quickly noticed what it was before deactivating his byakugan. He tuned his gaze towards his Hokage in worry.

"Her chakra are sealed,"

Sarutobi's eyes widen and looked at Hiashi, "Are you sure?"

"I don't even know how she's able to perform a jutsu, she shouldn't be able to,"

Hiashi only nodded and turned his base towards the worried looking girl, "Her chakra is strange as well, it nothing like I've ever seen before, not like any ninja or jinchuriki either,"

Sarutobi nodded and walked to Yuzuki kneeling in front of her, "Yuzuki we have a change of plans, we're going to visit one more person before we go to dinner, is that ok?"

Yuzuki gave him a small nod before taking his hand in hers, "Thank you Hiashi, I'll be seeing you soon," Sarutobi quickly gave the Hyuga clan leader a goodbye.

"Bye Hiashi-san, thank you," Yuzuki also said her goodbye before letting Sarutobi lead her.

Hiashi watched the two leave with a curious look.

"Where are we going Hokage-sama?"

Sarutobi looked down at her before he continued to lead her, "Well Yuzuki, we're going to Yamanaka Inoichi's house, his daughter is one of Asuma's students,"

"Why?"

Sarutobi carefully worded out his words, "Hiashi found out your chakra is sealed, we're going to ask Inoichi to go through your mind to see if we can detect who sealed it, is that ok with you Yuzuki?"

Yuzuki raised her mud brown eyes to meet Sarutobi's wise ones, "Is it going to hurt?"

Sarutobi frowned, "It'll only hurt if you don't allow him to go through your mind willingly."

Yuzuki worriedly nodded and grasped his hand tighter, "I'll let him look into my mind," Soon Sarutobi entered the Yamanaka flower shop.

"Hokage-sama! What a surprise to see you!" A middle aged woman with brown hair tied into a bun greeted them, "Oh, what a cute girl!" She smiled as she eyes Yuzuki.

The mentioned brunette blushed and hid behind Sarutobi who chuckled.

"Hello, Mrs. Yamanaka, I'm here to see Inoichi, is he here?" Mrs. Yamanaka nodded before walking into the house to call the blonde man.

"Ah, Hokage-sama! You should have just called me and I would have went to your office and not made you come here!" Inoichi exclaimed as he greeted Sarutobi. Yuzuki immediately could see the resemblance between the man and Ini who she met a few days ago.

"Sorry about this Inoichi, I know I gave you a break but I need you to check through Yuzuki's memories," Sarutobi quickly explained what was going on to the blonde man.

"Please come in, we'll talk in more of a private place," Inoichi politely invited the two into his house and led them into the living room.

Inoichi was frowning in worry, "Hokage-sama, you do know that this might physically hurt her if she doesn't let me into her mind willingly, and I do dislike doing this jutsu to children,"

"Yes, I already explained to Yuzuki, we're both know what will happen,"

Inoichi nodded before looking at a hesitantly smiling child.

"It's ok Inoichi-San, I don't have anything to hide, I'll do whatever I need to do," Yuzuki strongly stated trying to look as brave as she could.

Inoichi and Sarutobi smiled lightly at her courage, "Alright, sit in this chair Yuzuki-San," Inoichi brought out a brown chair so the child could sit.

Yuzuki nervously jumped onto the chair and stared at Inoichi. Honestly she was terrified to the core, but she trusted the man in front of her.

"Ok close your eyes, think about sitting in a complete white room," Yuzuki complied and shut her eyes willingly.

He silently did the hand signs and muttered the jutsu under his breath.

His eyes closed until he joined Yuzuki in a white room.

>>TIME SKIPS>>

A tear rolled down Inoichi's cheek before he stopped his jutsu. Yuzuki slumped into the chair unconscious.

Inoichi turned his attention towards Sarutobi glumly his eyes sad, "how is she smiling right now?" He muttered.

Sarutobi frowned but nodded to Inoichi so he'll show him what he saw in Yuzuki's memory. The blonde man placed his hand on Sarutobi's head transferring the image and memories.

MEMORIES OF YUZUKI

"Stop! Please stop!" Yuzuki wailed as she wrapped her small arms around her head trying to protect them from the abuse she was receiving.

Sarutobi's wise eyes widen in horror as she noticed the bloody child on the ground.

The males stopped their abuse with a last kick before spitting on Yuzuki and walking off with a laugh.

The scene quickly changed to where Yuzuki was scavenging through a dirty dumpster.

"You rat! Get out of my trash can!" A middle age woman screamed as she started to throw rotten tomatoes at a much younger Yuzuki.

She quickly scrambled out of the trash can and ran a hard piece of bread in her hand. She suddenly turned right to a dark ally before slumping against the wall breathing hard. The bright eyes that Sarutobi was used to were replaced by dull lifeless brown ones.

She suddenly made a high whistle. From the farther end of the ally a small ball of fur ran over before sitting in front of Yuzuki.

"Hi there," Yuzuki softly greeted before ripping a piece offstage bread and placing it in front of the small puppy.

Different scenes flash through the two adults, Sarutobi's eyes widen in horror for each one.

They both stiffened when Orochimaru appeared, with blood covering him. Sarutobi's eyes painfully narrowed as he stared at his once proud student.

"Keke, I see there still was an survived in that clan," he chuckled as he looked straight at them, both Sarutobi and Inoichi stood stiff as they watched the memory, "but it looks like you still haven't unlocked your power yet, I don't have use to you yet," Orochimaru muttered as he pulled out a ninja kunai.

Sarutobi hissed with anger as Yuzuki cried out im pain as the kunai pierced her.

"Kukuku, we'll see each other again child, next time we do I expect you to mastered the Kekkei Genkai," Orochimaru hissed.

The memory suddenly dissolved leaving the two man standing in Yamanaka's living room froze.

"This much pain," Sarutobi whispered as he eyed the still unconscious Yuzuki sitting limp on the chair.

Inoichi looked in pain he sat down, "Those were all the memory I was able to find, no other clue to who sealed her chakra, her chakra was either sealed when she was an baby or she was unconscious,"

Sarutobi nodded before he picked up Yuzuki and placed her on his back.

"Ah! Hokage-sama, are you alright?" Inoichi questioned in panic as he tried to take Yuzuki off his back.

Sarutobi waved his hand showing he was fine, "I may be old but, this child is nothing, she barely weighs anything." With that they said their goodbye and went over to the academy to go pick up Konohamaru.

During the walk Yuzuki woke up, "I'm sorry Hokage-sama," she mumbled as she slowly slipped off his back. The two silently walked through the crowed street.

Slowly Yuzuki raised her hand and took hold of Sarutobi's and gripped to it tightly.

"Am I really some kind of trash, Hokage-sama?" Yuzuki quietly questioned as she look down at her feet.

Sarutobi felt a little part of his heartbreak for the young child next to him.

"Yuzuki, no human in the world is ever trash, even the most evil person in the world." Sarutobi crouched in front of the innocent girl and took both of her hands into his, "Remember this Yuzuki, you are not and never will be a monster, trash, or anything bad, you are Yuzuki, a Konoha citizen, a girl who has people who care for her."

Yuzuki's brown head moved a little for a nod, "Well," Sarutobi smiled, "Lets go pickup Konohamaru and go to Ichiraku," Sarutobi stood up and took Yuzuki's smaller hand into his and walked to the academy.

"Grampa! Yuzuki-Neechan! You guys are late!!!!" Konohamaru pouted as he jumped off one of the swings in front of the academy and ran up to them.

The gloomy atmosphere around Yuzuki immediately disappeared as she beamed at the younger boy.

"Sorry Konohamaru! I needed to meet few people," Yuzuki smiled as she suddenly picked up the boy. Konohamaru squealed in surprise but started to giggle in delight as Yuzuki threw him onto her back.

Sarutobi smiled at the two children as they laughed together, Konohamaru got attached to Yuzuki quickly in the short period.

Sarutobi couldn't help but notice how his grandson would always be saying, "Yuzuki-neechan that, or Oyabun that!"

"We're going to go to Ichiraku and eat Ramen today! What are you going to eat Konohamaru?" Yuzuki questioned as she carried Konohamaru on her back while Sarutobi followed them few feet back.

"Oyabun always say Miso Ramen is the best there, so Imma get that!" Konohamaru yelled as he wrapped his small arms around Yuzuki's neck. Yuzuki has gotten used to Konohamaru talking about the person called 'Oyabun' by now, and didn't question about him. Though she was interested who the person was, since she always only hear Konohamaru call him 'Oyabun'

"Maybe he'll be there!"

Yuzuki only giggled and nodded, "Yes, I would like to meet the great 'Oyabun' you always talk about,"

Soon they were in front of the small ramen place, Yuzuki placed Konohamaru back on the ground and walked in the shop with a smile.

"Welcome! Oh Hokage-sama! What a pleasant surprise! Please sit down!" a young woman called with a bright smile.

"Hi, can we have three miso ramen please?" Yuzuki asked as she sat down next to Konohamaru who was looking around the small place.

"Oyabun isn't here," the young boy pouted as he sat between Yuzuki and Sarutobi. Yuzuki smiled kindly and patted his head.

"Coming right up!" the man who was cooking yelled as he smiled at them, "Naruto was just here with his team minutes ago, they just left," Konohamaru frowned, "I haven't seen you before? First time coming here?" The man question Yuzuki.

The brunette nodded with a smile, "Yes, I've just started to live in Konoha,"

"Then it's free for you this time!" the man smiled as he started to boil the water.

Yuzuki looked shock but quickly recovered and grinned, "Thank you, um,"

"Teuchi, and that's my daughter Ayame," the man pointed to the female who greeted them earlier.

"Yuzuki, nice to meet you," Yuzuki politely greeted with a small bow.

As they waited for their ramen, Yuzuki suddenly remember what Kurenai told her yesterday.

"Hokage-sama, I have a question."

Sarutobi turned his wise eyes at the brunette waiting for her to continue.

"Yesterday when I was training with Kurenai-san, she told me my stamina and fitness isn't that well, what should I do to improve it?"

Sarutobi nodded in understanding, there no way she would have stamina when she just started her new life in Konoha. Suddenly a certain person popped in his head.

"I know a ninja who is great in taijutsu, he and his team usually train near training ground twenty, why don't you go and see if he's there tomorrow, he'll will welcome you happily for training,"

"Thank you for the wait! Enjoy!" Ayame placed the ramen in front of the. Konohamaru quickly dug in as he messily ate while Yuzuki nodded at Sarutobi.

"Yes, I think I'll do that," she mumbled as she took an small bite. Her eyes widen as she stared at the bowl of ramen in front of her.

"Delicious!" she exclaimed as she started to eat more quickly.

Ayame giggled while Teuchi chuckled with Sarutobi, "Whoa, slow down honey, you're going to choke if you eat more quickly, there's more than enough left," Ayame laughed as she washed some dishes.

Yuzuki nodded furiously, a noodle sticking out of her mouth.
