RECAP:

Hokage-sama nodded and looked at me kindly, "Alright Yuzuki, I need to go now but I will come visit you tomorrow, and then we could talk about where you can live,"

"Live?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

"Yes from today on, you are a citizen of Konoha."

YUZUKI P.O.V.

"A citizen?" I mutter feeling a sharp sting in my eyes.

"Yes a citizen Yuzuki, from now on you will be under my care," Hokage-sama kindly said as he knelt by my bed.

Such a strange feeling spread across all my limbs, I felt something warm roll down my face. I hesitantly brought my hand to my cheek and felt the warm clear liquid.

"Am I crying?" I question feeling the unknown liquid slide down.

"Yes, Yuzuki those are tears, but are they from sadness or happiness?" The wise man question as he observed me with a soft eyes.

"I don't now Hokage-sama, I feel warm in side," I answered, feeling hypnotized by this new feeling.

"That young one would probably be happiness, and why do you think you feel that way?"

I thought for a second, "I feel accepted," I muttered looking at the man in front of me, the first person in the world that showed me kindness.

"Yes, Yuzuki you will be accepted at Konoha for who you are,"

I felt a soft hiccup escape my mouth as the tears ran down my face faster than before.

"Thank you," I whispered, "THANK YOU!" I sobbed as I hid my face in my hands. The feeling of relief exploded through me, I could belong here. I felt soft comforting arms wrap around my sobbing form.

"Shhh, Little One, you are safe," those words only ended up making me sob harder.

WEEK LATER

"Hokage-sama did you call me in?" I question as I walked into his office.

"Ah, Yuzuki! Yes I indeed called you in," he happily stated making me tilt my head in question. "Since all your injuries have healed I have a question for you,"

"A question?" I ask tilting my head even more for confusion.

"Yes, a question, I was wondering if your interested in becoming a ninja like some of the jounin you met," he asked making me look at him with surprise.

"Do you mean like Asuma-san and Kakashi-san?" I ask feeling a bit excited. I met those two soon after I got released from the hospital, Hokage-sama said those two were one of his most trusted friends and ninjas.

"Yes, I'm not sure what level you are right now but if you're strong enough we could put you in one of the newly turned Genin's team."

"I'd love to Hokage-sama!" I exclaim.

"Yes but I need to see your ch-"

"Chakra? I read about it in one of the books in the library!" I exclaim remembering about what I learned in a week.

"You read about chakra only after a week of me teaching you how to read and write?" Hokage-sama said in surprise, I wonder why?

"Yes! I read how to control it, I tried a little bit but I don't know if I doing it correctly," I muttered a bit shyly.

Hokage-sama smiled at me kindly and nodded, "Mind you try showing me?" I nodded and closed my eyes in concentration. I felt energy travel around my body like I read in the book.

SARUTOBI P.O.V

I stared impressed at how her chakra flowed through her body perfectly. She strangely only had little amount of chakra but she had it in control, which was very hard for a child who isn't even a genin yet. Though her chakra felt different, it wasn't evil, but it felt different.

I noticed how she started to sweat, "Yuzuki, you can stop, excellent job," I praised with a smile.

Yuzuki opened her eyes with a small smile, "Thank you Hokage-sama," she bowed, "So do you think?" She trailed off looking at her hand.

"Yes, I think you'll be perfectly good to become a shinobi," I answer feeling a bit prideful. The weak looking child has disappeared to a more out going person in such a short time. Just because of one thing.

Love

The poor girl grew up with out any love, the village abused her for no apparent reason leaving the girl weak in the heart and in the mind.

"A month ago we got few teams promoted to genin, we were thinking on putting you in one of them, but you still need to undergo the test they had, in one week I will test you in the clone jutsu and after that they'll be one more test," I explained to the excited girl, "Ebisu please come in,"

The dark haired man with his trademark sun glasses walked in, bowing at me.

"Hokage-sama,"

"Ebisu I want you to help train Yuzuki in the clone and transformation technique and make her master it by next week,"

Ebisu examined Yuzuki with interest before moving his glasses up his nose.

"Yes Hokage sama"

I nod in hope, "You two are dismissed, I hope you two start the training immediately,"

I watched the two disappear before calling for a new ninja.

In few seconds I have a chunin kneeling in front of me, "Yes Hokage-sama?"

"Please get me that Jounin to come here,"

"Do you mean him?"

"Yes, I mean him, you are dismissed,"

The chunin disappeared into a puff of smoke making me lean against my chair. I take off my hat and close my eyes.

I hope I'm making the right decision on picking him.

TWO HOURS LATER

I hear a knock in my door making me lift my eyes from the paper work I'm doing.

"Come in,"

A familiar silver haired jounin walked in lazily before bowing to me.

"You called me Hokage-sama?" He question putting his orange book away. I sigh and look at him, "Kakashi, I called you two hours ago, where have you been?"

"Well, a black ca-"

I shake my head and raise my hand, "Never mind, anyways how is Naruto and the team?"

Kakashi gave me a closed eye smile, "They're actually doing quite fine, lately their team work got a bit better, they aren't as hard as I thought they would be,"

I sigh feeling relief, "Then can you take one more child in your squad?"

Kakashi looked at me questioningly, "Another brat?"

"I wouldn't call her a brat, you already met Yuzuki am I correct?"

A look of recognition light his eyes, "The child Asuma was taking around the village the other day I presume, sweet kid."

I nod, "Indeed, very smart and mature for her age as well, she's been through more than enough though," I tap my fingers on my desk, "Are you willing Kakashi?"

I could see that the jounin was thinking for a bit, "Hm, another child won't make too much difference, and the team could use a mature one," he answered with a smile.

I smile feeling glad that Kakashi would be the teacher of the child.

"Hokage-sama, you earlier said that she went through more then enough but would you mind telling me the reason, as her new teacher I think it'll be my responsibility knowing about her past,"

I nod in agreement, "You do know the small village near here that's been wiped out by Orochimaru's hands last week," Kakashi stiffened by the name as I spit it out, "She's the one and only survivor of the village, and she was abused there being an orphan,"

"Poor kid," The jounin muttered.

"I also want you to keep a close eye on her, Orochimaru may come after her, she mentioned how Orochimaru didn't kill her saying he'll have use to her in the future,"

The visible eye of his narrowed, "Yes Hokage-sama,"

I nod and dismiss him, I just hope she won't suffer anymore than this.

THIRD PERSON P.O.V

Yuzuki bowed at Ebisu, "Thank you for taking your time to help me master the jutsu," she thanked making the older man look at her in quite amazement.

'So polite at such a young age, why can't the kyuubi act like her?' Ebisu thought as he stared at the small girl.

"Um what should I call you Ebisu-san?" The browned hair girl asked, her doe eyes growing wide with the question.

"Just call me like that," Ebisu answered, he already had a good impression on this girl, she was polite and mature.

"Alright, lets get this training started, I presume you know about chakra?" Ebisu asked making the young girl nod.

"Yes I read some books from Hokage-sama's library and I showed him how I can control it, he praised me saying I had excellent control when I tried it for the first time!" Yuzuki proudly answer, she was happy that someone actually acknowledged her.

'If she can control chakra this may be easier than I thought it would be' the jounin thought as he moved his glasses.

"Alright, I'll first show you how to do the technique's than you can try after,"

Ebisu slowly did the hand signs making two clones appear next to him. "Ok now you try," he was trying to see her control of chakra first so he could help fix them.

Yuzuki closed her eye in concentration and did the hand sigh as Ebisu did, in her mind she imagined five of herself appearing next to herself.

She slowly opened her eyes taking in her surroundings. The first thing she saw was Ebisu gaping face. She tilted her head in confusion.

"Y-You made five!" Ebisu muttered as he pointed at her.

Yuzuki looked to her right and left and saw five grinning image of herself.

"Wow, I actually did it!" She chirped as she looked at the amazed Ebisu.

Ebisu coughed and regained his posture, "Uh, since it looks like you can perfectly do the jutsu we can go to the transformation technique."

FIVE MINUTES LATER.

"Ebisu-san, do I look like Asuma?" Yuzuki questioned to the amazed looking adult.

"Yes Yuzuki, you look exactly like him, now try making Kakashi-San too," he ordered.

The young girl shrugged and did as he said changing herself to the silver haired jounin.

Ebisu shook his head in amazement, "Um alright! You did perfect today Yuzuki, you are dismissed for today, I do need to tell Hokage-sama about what you learned," Ebisu said as he watched the young girl wave at him before walking towards the village.

He quickly did hand signs and traveled to the Hokage's room.

"Hokage-sama," he muttered as he knelt down in front of the elderly man.

"Ebisu what happened? It only been thirty minutes," Hokage questioned with a confused look.

"In just thirty minutes she mastered the two jutsu," Ebisu answered.

Sarutobi stared at the jounin he trusted in shock, "She did what?"

"Yes Hokage-sama, she soaked up all the information like a sponge,"

'We may have a once in a life time genius in our hands' Sarutobi thought.

MEAN TIME

YUZUKI P.O.V

I curiously looked around taking in my surroundings, in the past week when I walked around I either had Asuma-San or Hokage-sama showing me around so it was my first time going out by myself.

I took noticed how all the shops had a happy air floating around it with smiling people, which was the opposite to my old village.

I excitedly walked ahead looking at the variety of shops not paying attention where I was walking. With a light shriek I crashed into a hard object making me tumbled down to my butt.

"Ouchie, I'm sorry," I apologized to the person I crashed into. I looked up and saw a familiar looking Jounin looking lazily at me. His unusual book he always has in his hand.

"Oh, hey Yuzuki," Kakashi-San greeted as he put his book away in his chest pocket.

I stand up and brush the dust off me and smile at the older man, "Hello Kakashi-San, sorry about that," I apologize again.

"Nah, it's ok, I was also reading my book so I wasn't looking where I was going," He replied scratching his neck awkwardly, "Anyways how are you liking Konoha so far?"

I nod happily, "Its lovely here! Everyone treats me nicely and I might be able to be a ninja!"

Kakashi-San raised an eyebrow at me, "A ninja?" He questioned.

I nod enthusiastically, "Yes! Ebisu-San taught me the clone and transformation jutsu earlier, he said I completely master it!"

"Really why don't you show me?" Kakashi-San asked making me grin at him.

"Sure! Where should we go?"

"The training ground by the river,"

AT THE TRAINING GROUND

"Ok, Yuzuki let me see what you learned today," Kakashi-San said in a lazy tone making me sweat drop.

I shrugged my shoulders and was about to do the hand sign but thought of an idea, I slightly smiled and did the two hand sign combined together after I imagined the person I wanted to transformer into.

With a puff of smoke ten or so Hokage-sama appeared next to me.

Kakashi's eye slightly widen before looking at me, "You learned to do this today?"

I nod confused, didn't I say that earlier?

"What time did you start training?"

"Kakashi-San what time is it right now?" I questioned not sure what time I actually trained with Ebisu-San.

"Ten,"

I nodded, "Um I think I started training around nine and after thirty minutes or so Ebisu-San dismissed me and I was wondering around the village until I met you," I answer, "I kind of wanted to train a bit more though, I was expecting to do something more complicated,"

The silver haired jounin looked at me strangely before examining me, "Are you interested in learning a different jutsu then?" He question making my eyes sparkle.

"Would you, Kakashi-San! I feel like I still have a bit of energy left!" I ask happily as the man nods at me
