Taylor's pov:

"Who was that?" Niall asked, while putting an ice pack on my foot. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"It was Harry. Why do you car anyways?" I said raising an eye brow sceptically.

"I was just wondering.." He mumbled and I just rolled my eyes. 

"So...what do we do first?" he asked me and I just shrugged carelessly.

"There is nothing to study, so let's just go over our lines and ten I'll leave." I said and he frowned.

"Why do you want to leave to so bad? Actually, why are you so mad at me?" He asked me and I just rolled my eyes. Was he really that stupid? Isn't it obvious?

"I just thought you might not want to be seen with me and all..." I mumbled.

"Wait what? What are you talking about?" he asked, obviously not knowing what I was talking about.

"Look," I started,"I just don't understand you. Whenever we're hanging out at school, you just act like you don't know me. And ten whenever we hang out outside of school you act like if I was your best friend!" I said, started to get mad. I just really didn't understand boys and their egos! It's so annoying how they want to have such a good reputation and so they're jerks just because of that...

"Taylor...I didn't know. I'm sorry, I just do that because Tina gets mad at me and she's my girlfriend." he said and I just gave him a look.

"And if she breaks up with you, your relationship goes down the drain, am I right? I always knew you were a jerk...I actually tried to see the good side on you, but you're just a jerk who only wants popularity and nothing more!" I spat, stood up and started walking towards the door.

As I made my way over there, I remembered my foot wasn't in the best condition and stopped walking. I slowly turned back around and slowly jumped with one foot over to Niall again and sat down. Ugh, now I feel stupid. Stupid rain...

"I'm just here because of my foot, so don't get your hopes up.." I mumbled and he just nodded.

"Look, I'm sorry. And no, I don't just care about popularity. And I'm not dating Tina just because of that either...it's just that..." He said and stopped talking.

"Just that what?" I asked him.

Niall's pov:

"Just what?" Taylor asked me. I really didn't know how I was supposed to tell her.

*Flashback*

I was walking back to my house, after coming back from the park and hanging out with all my friends and Tina, but suddenly, I felt someone grab my arm. I turned around to be met by the green eyes of my girlfriend. I made a confused look as to why she had come here if I had just left and I was pretty sure I hadn't forgotten anything...mainly because I hadn't really taken anything with me to the park.

"Hey" I said.

"Hey. Look, we need to talk." She said, with a serious face. 

"Uh, ok." I said, sitting on a small bench behind us. She did too.

"Ok, let's just get to the point. I've noticed you've been hanging out with that Taylor girl." She started and I nodded. Why was she talking about Taylor?

"Well, it's obvious that everyone thinks you have a 'thing' for her, or whatever and I just want to warn you. If you break up with me for that chick, not only your popularity is going to disappear, but I will also make sure to embarrass her in front of the whole school got it? I think it's clear we both want to keep our popularity, or at least I do, so you better not mess that up." She threatened. 

I wanted to say something, but I was speechless. How could she do this? Not only to me, but to Taylor?! She did nothing to Tina! I would've already dumped her, but I know what Tina is capable of, and I don't want anything bad to happen to Taylor. I always felt like if Tina had something against her, but I never thought she would do this...

"What? You can't do that!" I said, finally being able to speak.

"Oh, but I can." She smirked and I just gave her a disgusted look.

"Whatever." I stopped for a second. "But as long as I stay with you, you can't do anything to her." i finished and gave her a look. She just laughed.

"As long as you don't dump me, nothing will happen to her...or at least I won't do anything." She mumbled the last part. I can't believe her. I just mumbled a 'whatever' and left. How did I not do anything earlier?! I'm so stupid.

*End of flashback*

"Look, you just need to understand that I don't mean to be a jerk ok?" I said, hoping she would understand.

"You know what? Just whatever. Don't worry, the teacher told me you were actually doing pretty good with your grades, so i don't have to tutor you anymore. I can just pretend to be sick at the day of the play, and I don't need your guitar lessons anymore. So don't worry, your life just got easier." She said, and stopped to think about what to say next, or at least that's what it looked like.

"And don't worry. I have Josh anyways, so it's alright. Bye" She said and before I could say anything, she walked out the door and left.
