Taylor´s POV:

The next morning I woke up to the sound of y annoying alarm, just like every other day. I turned it off and got out of bed. I decided to make it so I could just get it over with and come back after school with an already made bed. I pulled all the blankets and tucked them in, then I grabbed all of my pillows and put them in the correct places. After I finished, I stood there looking at my bed. I did a pretty good job. I actually really liked my room, I liked how it was all matchy, it was all purple, black and white. I guess it wasn´t the girliest room ever, but the purple added that girly spark to it. 

I walked in my bathroom, placed my phone on top of the (closed) toilet, stripped out of my clothes, and got inside the shower, my body meeting the warm water. As usual, I started singing in the shower, I might not be the best singer but hey, everyone sings inside the shower. I started conditioning my hair when suddenly my phone started ringing. Why in the world would someone call at 7am?! I stuck my head out of the shower curtain to look at the called ID. Unknown number. I thought about whether I should answer or not since it might be important because well, it´s early. I decided to answer.

(Notice I still have conditioner in my hair, my hand is wet, and the only things that aren´t inside the shower are my head and my right hand.)

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello, is this Taylor?" Asked a man´s voice.

"Yes, this is her..." I said.

"Hello, we were just calling to say that we received your application for the talent show and you´re in.  We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 6pm." He said and I was confused.

"Wait, what talent show?" I asked, clearly not knowing what he was talking about.

"Nando´s Talent Show? We saw the video you sent in and you were accepted. The winner also gets a prize of $200." He said and I nearly choke. 200 dollars?! Ok, I might be interested... I was still kind of confused since I don´t remember ever- wait. That´s when it all made sense: Maddie had told me about it, but I refused to enter it, she must´ve been the one who sent in the application behind my back and sent a video she had taken of me a few weeks ago. That little-

"Hello?" The man´s voice said and I had forgotten he was still on the phone.

"Oh sorry. Ok, thank you. I will be there! Bye." I said and hung up. I then finished showering and got out. I wrapped a towel around my body and went back in my room and got dressed. I decided to put on some dark skinny jeans, gray TOMS, a black top and a Jack Wills jumper. I put on some mascara and braided my hair. I guess I didn´t look horrible, but I didn´t look pretty, I looked ok. It´s not like I ever thought I was pretty, I always thought I was an average looking girl, well at least compared to a lot of girls. Like my sister, she was definitely way prettier than me, she has long red hair with perfectly shaped wavy curls, but her rd hair actually looks good on her, and it makes her emerald green eyes stand out and her lips always have the perfect shade of pink....I shrugged off the thoughts I was having which always made me feel more insecure about my self and went downstairs. 

I sat down and had some cereal. I heard someone come down and take a seat next to me. Amber. 

"Hey." She said, serving herself some cereal too. I just stared at her. "What?" she asked me.

She was wearing short shorts, a black tank top, a jean jacket and long black boots.

"Amber..." I said taking one last look at her outfit, "You look like a slut. You really think mom will let you go to school like that?" I asked. What got into her? This is so not her style..

"Well mom doesn´t need to know right?" She said and I couldn´t believe what she was saying.

"You´re not going to school like that. And why did you even dress like that anyways?!" I asked, trying to figure out what had gotten into my sister.

"Nothing...I just want to try something new." She said. I could tell she was lying.

"Yeah right, why out of all the things you could try, you went with slutty?" I asked raising an eye brow.

"Can´t you just leave me alone? Gosh, you´re such a boring person..." She said rolling her eyes and  finishing her bowl of cereal. 

"I am not!" I spat. 

"Whatever you say..." She said standing up and putting her bowl in the dishwasher. Something was up with her, and I´m gong to figure it out...

"So you got a boyfriend?" I said randomly.

"How did you-I don´t know what you´re talking about." She said.

"Busted." I said folding my arms over my chest, knowing she had just revealed her secret to me.

"Ugh, I hate when you do that." She whined.

"Mom will so know about this!" I said, with a smirk on my face.

"NO!" She begged,"Fine I´ll tell you! All the girls in the grade like him and the only way I can keep him is if I always look hotter than the other girls..." She said, slightly embarrassed. I laughed at this.

"Seriously? Go change. If he likes you for who you are then he won´t break up with you, if he doesn´t then he´s a total jerk and not worth it." I said and she nodded and went to change. I left and Niall´s car was already there. I smiled and walked to the car and got in.

"Hey there." He said as I closed he car door.

"Hi." I said and he started driving. Suddenly, I remembered he could sing. "Have you ever considered making a career out of singing?" I asked him. He thought about it for a moment.

"Actually, I´ve been thinking about studying sound engineering." He told me.

"Oh, well I think you should be a singer, because you´re really good." I blurted out. I wasn´t really supposed to say that out loud, but I guess I was kind of glad I said it because he smiled at this.

"Thanks. I guess I just don´t really know where I should start." He admitted. 

"Well, there´s always YouTube!" I said and he laughed at my cheerful tone.

"Yeah." He said, still laughing a little. We finally got to school and I just sat there.

"Aren´t you coming out?" He asked me.

"But everyone will see us...again." I said quietly. "Can´t I just stay here until everyone goes in? I don´t want any rumors going on again..." I admitted and wondered if I sounded as ridiculous as I thought I did. Apparently he seemed to understand and nodded.

"Okay, if you want to. See you around." He said flashing me a smile and left. I stayed inside the car and looked at everything going on. Tina with Niall and Maddie- wait, Maddie?! What was she doing here? With Tina?! Oh well...whatever, it´s not like we´re friends anyways... But why is she with her? I guess she really didn´t care if we stopped being friends...
