Chapter 3

Taylor´s POV:

As we all entered in our dinning room,  I felt pretty awkward. I could tell Niall did too. As we all looked around to find a spot to sit, obviously my dad did first, taking his daily spot. Finally we all decided to take a seat, Amber across from my mom, my at the end in the center, and Niall and I across from each other. Finally after a while, my mom broke the silence,"I will go get the dinner." we all replied with nods.

"So you play any sports?" my dad asked Niall, who returned a smile.

"Yeah, I play soccer, I love it." He said. Why did he even mention it? Does he not know my dad will not shut up about sports, ever? Especially soccer...

"Ah, I see. You know, I used to play soccer when I was young too." He said. Then my mom came back with some grilled chicken, broccoli, and rice. I guess it was a pretty good choice for dinner. But I did not plan on eating much. I never do, sometimes my mom gets worried I refuse to eat when she won´t believe I´m not hungry, but it´s not like I starve myself, I just like to stay in shape.

Just as we all served ourselves, Niall and my dad with the fullest plates may I add, my mom had to bring up something absolutely irrelevant.

"So you and Taylor?" She said, a smirk across her face. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"No mom. I'm just his tutor." I spat. I looked over to Niall, who had a small shade of pink on his cheeks. I chuckled and mouthed a 'Sorry', which he returned with a reassuring smile.

As we all finished, I was honestly very glad Niall had to leave. I mean, seriously, they wouldn´t shut up about the freaking sport! Maybe I feel kind of sorry for my dad, who has to live with 3 girls, but hey, that´ snot my fault. "Thank you Mrs. Brook for the dinner, it was great." Niall said. "Oh please, call me Jane. And it was great having you stay." My mom cooed.

"Look forward to seeing you at the game on Saturday." My dad said, while givng him a man hug. Niall smiled and said, "Same goes to you David." Guys...

"Bye Taylor, see you at school tomorrow." He said while outtig his hands in his pockets. "See you tomorrow Niall." I said giving him a small smile. Then he finally walked out the door and left.

"You know, I really liked this Niall boy. He´ s very nice." My dad said entering my room.

"Yeah..." I lied, not bothering to look up at him. I honestly did not totally like Niall yet, I just guess it takes me some time to get used to people, especially ´Popular People´.

"Yeah? Taylor, that was such an obvious lie. What do you have against him? He´s a nice lad." He said, sitting on my bad, forcing me to look up at him.

"I don´t know. He´s just kind of a show off. And popular. I don´t know..." I said, putting down the magazine I had been reading. He gave me a look and I knew he was about to give me some ind of speech or whatever.

"Just because he is popular and all doesen´t mean you have to dislike him. I know you have had some problems with that in the past, but that is not a reason not to not give him a chance.Don´t judge a book by its cover Taylor." He said with seriousness in his eyes. Why did he have to bring up the subject about ´the past´? He knows I hate talking about it...

I just stayed silent for a second trying to figure out what to say, "Yeah, I guess..." I said. He just sighed, and said, "Ok. Just try to give him a chance sweetie, it might turn out to be a good thing. Goodnight darling." He said, kissing my forehead and exiting my room.

As he left, I stripped out of my clothes and put on some pajamas. I decided to wear some pajama shorts, and a white baggy T-Shirt. I took off my messy bun and got in bed. As much as I hated it, I guess maybe I should at least try giving him a chance, I mean, it´s never to late to make a new friend right?

Hiii

Ok sorry I hadn´t updated in a looong time but I barley get the chance to go on the computer and today my phone decided to be stupid and randomly died and now the screen wont turn on, not even on the charger. But the weird thing is I connected it to the computer and it synced it but the screen wot turn on. Its like the phone is alive but the screen and sound are dead :/ Anyways I don't think u guys care...I think I might be able to update this upcoming week but not sure.
