Taylor's POV:

"Taylor?"

"Josh."

"What are you doing here?" He asked, his voice sounding slightly nervous.

"I'm here to learn. I didn't win." I said bluntly.

"Oh." He said.

I noticed he was hanging out with them.

Unbelievable.

"Hey Joshie." Maddie said, walking over to him and wrapping her arm around his waist.

He laughed awkwardly.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Oh. Taylor? What are you doing here?" She asked and I gave her a look.

"I didn't win so I'm back here at school." I said and she laughed.

"Whatever. See ya later Josh." She said and gave him a quick peck on the lips and walked away.

"Joshie?"

"Look she's not that bad anymore." He said and I laughed bitterly.

"Glad to hear that." I smiled sarcastically and he gave me a look.

"Hey, I'm sorry I-"

I cut him off.

"It's fine." I said and walked away.

I looked around and realized I was alone again.

The idea of looking for Niall passed through my mind for about a split second before I realized 'Niall's not here anymore.'

It was at that moment that I'd just Jane to fake it all of this journey because I was the only person I could depend on.

"Oh my gosh is that Taylor from X-Factor?"

"I heard her and Niall had a thing."

"I can't believe that's her. She used to be such a loser."

All these comments I'd hear as I walked by made my stomach churn.

I just ignored them and smiled.

I was still the same person except I had been in X-Factor.

I can't believe it. I should've never done this.

"Hey Taylor!" One of the 'popular' girls said.

I faked a smile.

"Uh hi..." I said.

"Want to sit with us?" One of them asked, and I noticed Amber was there too.

She looked like she was mentally burning holes through the head of the girl who had just asked me to sit with them.

Don't worry, I don't want to sit with your stupid fake friends.

"No thanks." I said and walked away.

This year was going to suck.

I sat down next to a girl who was sitting all alone.

"Hi." I said and she smiled.

"Hey. Um do I know you?"

"No but I'm Taylor, I've got no friends." I laughed.

"How? Aren't you like basically kind of famous?" She said.

I shrugged.

"Yeah but I don't like hanging with people who only like me because of it." I admitted.

"Oh...well I like you- I mean because you're nice not because you're kinda famous." She said and I smiled.

"Then let me be your friend."

"I don't see why you can't be. Oh by the way, I'm Hailey."

"Nice to meet you Hailey." I said, and smiled once again because I had the feeling maybe this friendship would last a long time.

wow it's been a while but here is the bext chappy.

I was starting to actually consider deleting this but there was a few ppl who added this to their library despite the horrible grammar and writing skills.

I started this more than a year ago so I sucked but now im two years older and actually know a bit more

im dedicating most of my time to my harry fanfic bc im almost done and it's not as bad.
