Person : Guess who?

Debu : (although he knew who it was, still he pretended that he did not recognise) A...a let me think. Vivaan, no he couldn't be then maa, no not at all then who a.. anu (he said finally as he knew till now she must have got angry)

Ananya : Yes!

Debu : But anu why have you blindfolded me? What were you doing outside my room at this hour? Is everything alright?

Ananya : Offo how many questions do you ask? Wait for some time. (She said and looked at her watch. It was 11:55, only five minutes were left for debu's birthday.)

(At exact 12 she opened debu's strip and when debu opened his eyes he was completely awestruck with the view in front of him.)

Ananya : Happy Birthday Debu! (She exclaimed)

Debu : You did all this for me? (He asked looking surprised)

Ananya : No, it is for me, (in a sarcastic way) ofcourse it is for you.

Debu : It is so beautiful. Have you decorated it?

Ananya : Ofcourse.

Debu : But how did you know that today is my birthday, even I had forgotten about it?

Ananya : There is nothing I don't know. (She said in a teasing manner)

Debu : Anu tell na. (He said in a pleading tone)

Ananya : Ok fine. Baal pari had told me about it. Now come on let's cut the cake.

(Debu and Ananya cut the cake and fed each other)

Ananya : Debu look here. (Saying this she applied the cake on Debu's face)

Debu : Anu! (He screamed and took a piece of cake and started chasing Ananya)

Ananya : You can't catch me debu.

(After a while Debu caught Ananya)

Debu : Look, I caught you. (Saying this he also applied cake on her face.)

(After that both started playing like small kids. After a while they got tired so they lied down on the grass)

Debu : Thanks Anu for making my birthday so special. I will never ever forget this birthday.

Ananya : No need to say thank you. After all I am your friend. Anyways I have made something for you. (Saying this she removes a tiffin from the bag kept beside her)

Debu : Now what's in this?

Ananya : Noodles! Come on let's eat. (She said giving a fork to debu)

Debu : Noodles, wow! Who has made it?

Ananya : I have made it.

Debu : What! You have made it by your own hands? (He said putting the fork back into the tiffin)

Ananya : Don't worry, I have tasted it. It's not bad.

Debu : Then it's ok. (Saying this he took a morsel of noodles)

Ananya : How is it? (She said eagerly waiting for his answer)

Debu : Hmmm. It's amazing. I had never thought that you could make such good food.

Ananya : Thanks. (She said while blushing)

(They both ate noodles)

Debu : Oh no! It's 2am. Anu we should go home now. (He said looking at his watch)

Ananya : You should go first. Because I ride the cycle faster than you.

Debu : Shall we have a race?

Ananya : I hope you will not cry after you lose, will you?

Debu : I will shed tears of happiness. Because I am definitely going to win the race.

Ananya : Oh, really? Let's see.

Debu : Okay, let's see.

(They both sit on the cycle)

Debu : Ok, ready?

Ananya : Ready, steady, go!

(They both started cycling. Ananya was ahead of debu.)

Debu : You are fast but not more than me. (He said moving ahead of Ananya while she was smiling happily at him. At last debu won.)

Debu : Anu lost to me.

Ananya : SRK had once said this. Those who win despite loosing are the real winners.

Debu : But what did you win?

Ananya : Why should I tell you that? (She said moving towards her house.)

Ananya : Thanks for dropping me home.

Debu : Thanks for today.

Ananya : Listen, get yourself a weekly pass.

Debu : For what?

Ananya : For thanking me. You can thank me once every week.

Debu : Okay.

Ananya : See you. (Saying this she was going to her house but debu stopped her.)

Debu : And listen! We still have one pending race.

Ananya : Oh, God! Debu, not again. I don't want to lose how I did today. (She said turning back)

Debu : That's what I am telling you. I don't want you to lose again this way.

Ananya : What do you mean?

Debu : I don't want you to lose intentionally. Next time, I will actually beat you.

Ananya : You got the birthday discount today. You should accept such things quietly.

Debu : Thanks! Bye.

Ananya : Bye.

(Both left for their respective houses while someone was watching them with an evil smile)

In Debu's room

(Debu was lying on the bed and was thinking about today)

Debu's POV
Today is the happiest day of my life. I had never thought anu would do anything for me. But she made my birthday so special. It's not that no one has ever gave me surprises but this one was the most beautiful of all. I would never forget this.

(Thinking all these things he slept)
