We were playing Among Us.

Most popular game of 2020. (pretty sure that will change this year though... Looking at you, FNF...)

Wait. We didn't tell you? Leo and the other Hephaestus campers had invented... a drumroll would be appreciated...

THE DEMIPHONE!!!

And that's how we ended up in Bunker 9, playing Among Us together. Leo had first suggested the idea, so we could thank him for the suspense, stress, and paranoia that was Among Us.

Yay.

Me and the rest of the seven were waiting outside of Bunker 9, where Leo had said we could play together. He said to meet there at Six p.m, but we'd been waiting for almost ten minutes! 

Finally, I brought up the nerve to knock. As I was about to knock, the door swung open, and a frazzled Leo looked at us.

"Dude, we've been waiting for, what, ten minutes now?" Percy accused.

Leo sighed. "Look, I got caught up in my work, and I forgot, okay?" he explained. "Now get in here and let's play some Among Us!"

We walked in, and saw the mess of blueprints and stuff on the table in the middle. Leo led us past it to another part. There were some beanbag chairs and stuff. 

"Is everyone ready?" 

Everyone nodded.

We each sat in a beanbag chair, muting the volume on our phones. We wouldn't want people getting hints from the audio!

"I'm gonna create the lobby." announced Annabeth. "Does one impostor sound good?"

Everyone nodded.

"And the code is... CHVFIQ"

"What was the code again?" asked Percy.

Annabeth let out an exasperated sigh and showed Percy her screen. 

I loaded into the game, choosing purple as my color. These were the others:

White: Annabeth

Cyan: Percy

Yellow: Hazel

Green: Frank

Orange: Piper

Red: Leo

I decided to type in the chat. As a joke I wrote "RED SUS!!!". Leo didn't look amused.

"Ready?" Annabeth asked.

"Ready!" we said in unison.

The game started.

Everybody got their roles. I was a crewmate. AGAIN.

WHYYYYYYYYY?

But then something trippy happened. The screen glitched. 

"Uhhh, Leo?" Piper ventured.

"I-I have no idea what's going on!" He replied.

Then, the lights started flickering.

"What the-?" 

Then we promptly blacked out.
