(Have a short yet sad story, because I do really enjoy Carter-)

"You still think about it?" A voice asked the spartan. Said spartan never once looked up, his grip on his gun tight. A small pat on his shoulder was offered by the larger orange spartan as he walked past his leader. Carter's gun was holstered on his back as he stood up.

"Of course, how could I not? We lost one of our own." Carter speaks finally after what felt like an agonizing silence. A female voice cuts in, leaving Carter once again speechless.

"It was much more than that, correct?"

He refused to reply, rather looking for something else to occupy his time.

"Carter, you can be honest, we're upset too." Emile coaxes the leading Spartan, Carter seeming to curse to himself before choosing to respond again.

"Yes, it was much more than that. The plan was reckless and I-"

"Yes, the plan was reckless, but we had only one option to complete the mission." Kat agrees with a saddened tone.

"I just wish I had more time, if I did, she would still be here." Carter utters, seeming pained. It was a devastating attack, no one saw it coming.

"It was what she wished to do, she cared an awful lot about you, Carter." Jun tries to reassure, he leader seeming to glare at the inside of his visor. 

"I know she did. I did too. I just wish she wasn't so reckless. I thought she'd see sooner or later where that gets you. It seems I was wrong. It could of been me, instead of her." Carter laments as Jorge glances at the gun Carter had on his back. It looked familiar, the custom design on the barrel being a signature unique design.

"She did it to protect you, our leader. She wants you to still lead us through this. I see you have her gun...." Jorge comments as Carter turns to look at the other Noble. 

"Of course, It's the most I can do for her at this point. She fought well, despite what happened. I won't forget it." Carter huffs in displeasure as he pulls the gun off his back again. Ingrained on the barrel was an ID.
