(Okay, This needs an explanation)

Gears 4 Swarm Queen AU: This is based off the end of Gears 4 (If you have not finished 4, get on that) Kait received a Locust necklace which made me think she is related to Myrrah (Now that I think about it, that's actually canon... ) So, the AU I came up with was if the Swarm obeyed Kait just like the Locust with Myrrah. That's pretty much it. Her personality will also be darker. (If this is the plot for Gears 5 then...W h o o p s-)

"It's been months, she hasn't come back." You sigh, Del sitting next to you.

"You can't give up, she has to be out there somewhere." Del reassured, rubbing circles on your back.

"Del, she ran away in the middle of the night after she received that strange amulet from her mother. What if she got herself killed?" You ask mostly to yourself. This created a dead silence between the two of you. Del sighed before leaning on you.

"JD is trying his best to track her. I'm sure she's fine, (Y/N). Just, believe, ok?" Del sighed as he stood up. "Come on, let's go get something to eat."

You look up at Del, before nodding and holding his hand, allowing him to help you up. You walked with him before JD ran up to you guys.

"(Y/N), Del! Get over here you two love birds. Baird and I found a heat signature near a swarm nest. Gear up and we'll go check it out. It seems human." JD explains as you perk up and run to go get your armor and lancer.

You, Del, and JD had encountered a lot of trouble on the way to the new hive. Pouncers, Swarm drones and Scion's kept swarming you guys.

You stayed in front, trying to protect your friends as you shot continuously at the swarm. You encouraged your team to keep going as you charged through the hive.

"Hello? Anyone here?" You call out at you looked at a device JD gave you. It said the heat signature was around here.

You yelped as you heard something dart past. JD and Del got closer to you, Lancer's at the ready. You shiver as you get closer to Del.

"(Y/N)?" A familiar female voice calls to you as you gasp.

"K-Kait?" You murmur as you saw a feminine figure come into view. You stared at her condition with a shocked expression. Her armor was punctured and melted, her skin covered in various scratches. You also noticed the necklace around her neck.

"So it is you! I've missed you so much!" Kait smiles as she rushes to you, hugging you. You happily hug back as JD and Del join. Kait soon pulled away from the rest of you with a satisfied expression.

"How'd you get in this condition Kait!? Here, hang on, I have a med kit on me just in case." You panic slightly as you try to unhook the med kit off your side. Kait put a hand on your shoulder.

"Yeah, We'll just talk in private. That is, if it is okay with you two." Kait grinned at Del and JD.  The boys nod before backing off.

Kait lead you somewhere private before leaning down to your ear.

"I've become one of them." Kait whispered as you tilt your head.

"What...What do you mean?" You question as Kait smiled sweetly.

"I mean I am their queen now. I control the Swarm now. And i'll ne honest, (Y/N). I...I've had feelings for you since our journey with JD and Del. I just wanted to say I love you and...That maybe we could go out." Kait asked, nervous.

"I-I'm sorry, Kait...But i've been dating Del lately. I can't." You apologize. Normally Kait would have been understanding, but it seems the transition to Swarm queen must have change something in her.

"No? But (Y/N)...Please. You're talking to the swarm queen here. This isn't a good choice." Kait's eyes narrowed as she snapped her fingers. There was screaming from outside before two Scions dragged in Del and JD and held them in front of you.

"What...What the hell!?" You panic as Kait just smiled.

"Will you say yes if his line is on the line, (Y/N)?"
