11|| You're Just Like Dad
Daisy's P.O.V.
"Dallas please!" I yell fighting back tears.
He stumbles over to me drunk looking just like our-well I guess only his father, "come here you little bitch!"
"You're just like dad!" Delilah yells.
He turns around slapping her across the face slamming her to the ground, but unlike me she's tough and doesn't cry, "shut up or I'll make you."
Tears stream down my face as I cower in fear. He walks over kicking me in the gut, "you're such a whimp! I should of left you back in New York where you belong! Show your face!"
I look over at him showing his hand print, my bloody lip, and black eye, "I'm sorry."
He picks me up by the collar of my shirt, "I don't want you!" He throws me down to the ground and I roll over into the nightstand making the lamp fall on my head. Glass shatters everywhere cutting me up as I sob. "Look what you did now! Clean up it up you little wench!"
"Dallas stop that!" Del growls.
He trips her before kicking her in the gut, "shut your trap you little whore! You're gonna end up pregnant, I know what you did with Steve! Nasty, that's what it is!"
She stands up and punches Dally right in the face, he stumbles back. As he gains his balance he grabs a vase and throws it at her. She covers her face with her arms as glass shatters around her. She stands up tall, "get the hell out of here!"
"It's my house," his voice booms.
I sit there in the corner as tears stream down my face. I hobble over to him tugging at his shirt, "Dally?"
He turns to me pushing me to the floor, "what do you want bitch?"
"I want my brother not my father," I speak from the floor.
He pushes me into the TV and my head goes through the screen. I fall on my butt as my world get engulfed in black.
Delilah P.O.V.
"What did you do?" I ask Dally as I pick up my bloody unconscious barely breathing body.
"I did what she deserved," he stumbles off reminding me of our dad. I was always the one left unconscious, but I can't take it when it's Daisy. I place her on the couch releasing I just put her in glass as blood drips down the couch. I pick her up.
I rush into our room placing Daisy down on her bed as tears stream down my cheeks, "please stay with me Daisy, please. I need you. I-I love you."
I stroke her hair as I put on the TV putting on her favorite show, "so when you wake up because, you ARE gonna wake up, you're favorite show is gonna wake you up."
I cuddle up to my sister not caring what shape she's in, "goodnight Daisy I love you."
I wake up the next morning and look over to Daisy, "please wake up Daisy. I need you. I might not always treat you well. We might fight. I might tell you I hate you, but I need you. I love you Daisy. Please wake up."
Dally walks in with a smile on his face and I can tell that he blacked out, "morning Del. Wow, Daisy isn't up yet. Weird."
"Morning dad," I speaks coldly giving him a dirty look before rolling my eyes. "How did you sleep or did you black out?"
'What?" He asks confused.
"Don't you remember dad?" I roll my eyes.
"Stop calling me that!" Dally snaps. "I'm nothing like dad!"
"You're just like dad," I fight back.
"Why are you saying that Del?" He asks.
"Go look in the living room," is all I say as I turn my attention back to Daisy checking for a heart beat.
Dally's P.O.V
I walk into the living room to see everything's a mess there's glass everywhere and blood is splattered every where. There are beer cans and bottles all over the place just like it looked when I was younger in New York.
I sit down with tears in my eyes as I look around. What did I do? I've become the monster who haunted my childhood and hurt my sisters. I hurt my sisters.
I walk back into the girls room, "can I see Daisy?"
Del looks at me, "why should I let you see her dad?"
"Because, I love her...with all my heart," I remind her.
"No you don't," she hisses. "If you loved her you wouldn't of bear her!"
"I was drunk," I remind.
"Damn, just like dad!" She yells.
"Hey no swearing," I snap.
"Who are you to tell me what to do?" She rolls her eyes.
"I'm your guardian," I inform her.
"Well I wish you weren't!" She screams as loud as she can. "Go straight to hell Dallas! I hate you!"
I blink back tears, "you're a little bitch! I love you, you know I love you! I didn't mean it! I would never hurt you or Daisy on purpose so shut up about things you don't understand!"
"What don't I understand?" She asks. "You got drunk like dad, you got angry like dad, you called us names like dad, and beat us LIKE DAD! What don't I understand! I hate you."
I storm out of the room running my hand through my hair, "whatever you want to think Delilah! I can't change your mind, I never have! Daisy will still love me because, she's forgiving unlike some people!"
"Yup!"She yells back out to me.
Daisy's P.O.V.
I sit up groaning in pain, "Delilah?"
She turns to me tears rolling down her eyes, but as she sees me she gasps, "oh my god Daisy!"
I put my hand on my forehead, "Dallas?"
She shakes her head miserably, "I'm sorry, he's like this. I'm sorry Daisy, but it's better than staying with dad."
Tears stream down my face, "this is something dad would do. I don't know what to do. How much did he even drink last night?"
She shakes her head, "I stopped counting after eleven."
"He needs help," I cry cries.
"NO!" She yells shaking her head. "Unless you want us both to get ripped out of here."
"I don't care anymore," I sigh. "I don't want to end up being afraid. What if he hits Charlie and kills the baby?"
"I don't know Daisy!" She sighs. "I don't know."
Our eyes dart to the door as we hear a loud sob to see Dallas standing there, "are you guys really that scared?"
I sob loudly, "I gotta go. I'm sorry!"
I go to run out of the room, but he stops me, "Daisy please."
I avoid eye-contact, "Dallas just let me go."
"Look at me please, Daisy, look at me," he begs as tears stream down my cheeks. "Please."
"Get away from her," Delilah's voice booms loudly making Dally step back and me shudder.
I blink back tears, "you have a problem Dally."
"I'll stop," he swears. "I'll stop drinking, I promise. I love you girls enough for me to stop drinking."
I look at him like he's crazy, "we're not gonna go through this again with you. Are we Dallas?"
"Go through what?" He asks honestly confused.
"Drugs! You didn't know what you doing half the time," tears stream down my face. "We lived alone most of the time. You were always at parties and when you came home...When you came home we never knew what to expect. Were we gonna get Dally, the guy we grew up, the one we loved or Dallas who was high and mean. That was right after a promise to stop drinking because, you couldn't take it. You couldn't take being sober. You're an attic, just like dad. I'm sorry Dally."
"NO!" He yells angrily. "I'm nothing like our dad! You're lying! You have to be...please."
"I'm sorry," I sigh. "I gotta go."
Delilah's P.O.V.
I stare at Dallas with pure disgust and for the first time in my life I want nothing to do with him, "wow, Dallas, just wow."
"Delilah please," he goes to put his head on my shoulder.
"Don't touch me!" I yell as I stand up. "I hate you Dallas! What the fuck?"
"Del, I love you please," he pleads. "I can stop, you can help me."
"Dallas!" I turn around yelling my hair flying behind me. "I have NOTHING to say to you! I don't know who you think you are! You don't have the right to hurt us like that. You say you love us, but so did dad and look where that got us! Maybe Daisy is right, you do need help no matter what happens."
"Ya'll wouldn't do that," he rolls his eyes.
"I'm gonna go find Daisy," I walk out the house.
I angrily walk down the streets until I find Stevie. He looks over to me, "you okay baby?"
I shake my head, "Dallas is an ass!"
"What happened?" He asks confused.
"He's a drunk," I admit as the shame of it hits me along with the reality. "He beats Daisy a lot and sometimes me, but it's mostly Daisy. I'm not sure why. She ran out of the house and she wants to turn him in."
"She wouldn't," he shakes his head.
"I don't know," I let the tears fall freely as he pulls me into a long tight hug. "I don't know anything anymore. He had a drug issue and I don't know. I don't wanna live there, I don't feel safe. I don't wanna be scared anymore."
"Live with me," he offers.
I shake my head, "I couldn't."
"Why not?" He asks smiling. "My parents love you and they know that we're together."
"What about Daisy?" I ask. "I-I couldn't leave her alone with him."
"She can live with us too," he smiles.
I peck his lips, "just let me go get our stuff. Thank you so much Stevie."
"It's nothing," he smirks. "Be safe. Don't let the Socs get you."
I turn around laughing, "I won't, don't worry!"
