(i wrote this while listening to remixes of songs so i kept taking dance breaks)

I literally have to drag Calum out of the cafeteria as everyone is either laughing or trying to high five him. We finally get into the hallway and I hit his shoulder as hard as I can.

"Micropenis having ass!! Really Calum!" I try my best to serious but you have to admit it was a little funny. Super rude and mean but really funny.

"Sorry sorry! Just kinda came out I guess. You should know by now how I get when it comes to you." He says looking down at me with a smile on his face. I smile back and look away from his intense glare and go to sit against the lockers. He sits beside me and we both look at each other.

"So how do you think I am doing so far with the whole winning you over thing" he asks leaning back with a smirk on his face.

"You've been doing pretty well seeing that you've had competition all day," I say without thinking. His face changes in confusion.

"Competition?"

Should I tell him that Ashton had been doing the same thing to me throughout the day? I don't want to make him mad but I'm curious to see how he will take it. He wanted to win me over so I should see how far he was willing to go.

"Umm, yeah Ashton's been kinda doing the same thing today" his eyes darken as soon as I say those words. I don't know if he's going to blow up in my or not. I hope one day I'll be able to read his emotions better to I can learn which version of Calum I'll get. I see is eyes soften a little and sigh to myself knowing it's going to be okay.

"Did I at least do better than him?" he says grabbing my hand and I could instantly feel my skin heating up. He never fails to make me feel like I'm on fire.

"I'd say great so far but the day isn't over yet is it," I say with a smirk and he instantly lights up holding my hand tighter. I could get used to this Calum so easily. The one that's so lovely and makes me feel like the most special girl in the world. I could stay with his forever like this but you never get this one version all the time. Even though he is loving now it doesn't mean that he isn't destructive other times. I'm just not sure yet if I'm willing to be in the middle of a hurricane even if the inside is peaceful.

"So how long do you think ill have to work for you to trust me better?" I look up at him and I realize just how close we are. Our legs are brushing against each other along with our shoulders. Our hands are still intertwined and my head is slowly learning to rest against his shoulder.

"Well that all depends on what you do to get me to trust you. We have all the time in the world, so there isn't a need to rush." I smile at him but he frowns a little as if I gave him the wrong answer.

"I mean yes we have nothing but time but I don't want to waste a minute of it with you worrying about the next time I'm going to fuck something up I guess." I can see that he really wants to work harder and I really should give him a real chance to prove himself.

"Then it's up to you change my opinion," I say brushing my thumb against his knuckles a bit just to show him I wasn't going anywhere. I see him smile at my action and I decide to rest my head on his shoulder finally while the moment is still happening.

"I'll try my best to be good enough for you baby girl" His head rest on top of mine and in that moment it just felt perfect. It was just us two in the world and we didn't have to worry about anyone else. But of course we couldn't be there forever and the bell had to ring for us to go to our next class. I let out a sigh and let go of hand so I can stand properly. He follows my actions and gets up with me. I brush myself and turn back at him and be goes to grab my hand again and we both walk to class.

Once we get inside Calum takes his now usual set next to me. Our teacher decides that she doesn't feel like teaching today so she puts on an "educational" movie for us to watch. Today it's The Lorax because he wants us to learn about different types of poetry. I'm not even going to argue because this just means no homework for us.

She lets everyone move chairs and desks around the room to get comfortable to watch the movie. Calum decides that he wants to move to the back of the class so he takes my hand and walks us over to two random desks for us to sit at. The lights get turned off and we all settle in our seats while she plays the movie. I was trying to pay attention to the movie but Calum had other plans.

Just as I get settled Calum grabs my legs and puts them over his so instead of facing the movie I'm looking at him. I give him a questioning look but he just smiles and continues what he's doing. He pulls my chair closer to him and wraps his arm around me so I am cradled in his chest. I look up at him again and his focus in now on the movie but he has a goofy smile on his face.

"Can I ask why you put me in this position?" I say with a smile. I wasn't mad at him for putting us this way but I was just curious why.

"Well we seemed to be having so much fun all cozy in the hallway why not continue it right. Plus you're really warm" I laugh at the last part and just nod. He was also really warm so I wasn't going to object.

My head rested on his chest right on top of him heart. I beating was oddly soothing to listen to and I could feel myself drifting to sleep. I let out a yawn which grabs Calum's attention. He looks down at me and smiles while pulling me a little closer to him.

"You can fall asleep if you like, I'll wake you up when it's time to leave." By this point, my eyes are slowly shutting and I can only nod before I snuggle more in his chest and fall to sleep.

"Elizabeth. It's time to leave baby girl" I open my eyes and squint from the light of the classroom. Calum looks down at me and chuckles as I look around the room. Everyone is packing up to leave and is starting to walk out. I've never been one who is good at taking naps but wow I was out like a light.

I rub my eyes and move my legs out of Calum's lap and back onto the floor and grab my stuff. Calum gets up first and offers his hand which I take willingly. I'm a little wobbly at first which makes Calum laugh and me give him a look. He leads me out of the classroom and into the wall to go to my locker.

"Stop making fun of me, you're the one that told me to sleep.," I say rubbing my eyes as I put all my stuff in my bag.

"I didn't think you'd fall asleep that hard!" he says with a laugh which makes me scowl at him as I close my locker and put my bag on my shoulder. He grabs my hand which makes me look up at him and see smiles. "You look really cute when you sleep baby girl, even if you did drool on my a little" I push him slightly but still laugh along with him. He squeezes my hand a little and leads my to another hallway to get to his locker.

I was leaning on the side waiting for him to finish when Luke and Michael came walking down the hallway. I instantly stood up and tried my best to avoid eye contact as they walked closer and closer.

"Hey, Calum where have you been all day?" Luke asks first looking Calum's way but looking back at me every now and then.

"Oh I was just hanging out with Elizabeth most of the day," He says from inside his locker and both Luke and Michael's eyes drift to me and I look down nervously.

"Yeah I can see that I'm just wondering why?" Micheal says while he looks me up and down making me even more uncomfortable than before. Calum closes his locker and finally sees the awkward stand down happening between me and his two best friends. He looks between us both and sighs shaking his head.

"Yeah we have to fix this if I'm ever going to even have a chance because we both know these two idiots will somehow fuck it up," he says with a slight laugh and Luke and Michael pretend to be super hurt which I laugh a little. Calum grabs my hand and starts walking towards the door while pushing Luke and Michael in that same direction.

"Umm, where are was going?" I say finally being able to speak since I'm less nervous. Michael and Luke both nod at my words and we all look at Calum who stands in has now stopped in front of the door and is turned in front of us both.

"We are going to make you guys best friends," he says with a smile and we all look back at him and at each other and shock. Calum smiles at our reaction and pushes the door open and we all walk out behind him.
