As Ben had moved towards the rainbow colored lights, he noticed the many plants that were at his feet. "Hey, what are these anyway? Grand Sage? Think you can analyze this?" He asked picking up one of the herbs around him.

His eyes then glowed a bit as well as the herb he was holding once his skill activated "analysis complete; The plant is a Hipokute herb, this normally grows in magicule rich areas. Magicules, simply put it, are the building blocks of all magical beings. The herb is normally used in healing potions" Grand Sage explained.

"Healing potions, I bet that's very valuable" Ben said, then picked up a few more and put them in his pockets. Ben then felt his foot kick something, looking down at it, the boy had accidentally hit a jewel of sorts. Some kind of glowing rainbow stone "huh? Grand Sage, mind analyzing?" He asked scanning the rock after picking it up. "Analysis complete: mineral is a chunk of magistone ore, after absorbing enough magicules from the surrounding area they become magistone ore and are extremely valuable" Grand Sage explained. "Man this looks to big too carry though, better just leave it be" Ben said before moving on.

Then that's when he saw where the light was coming from... it was... a freaking Dragon!! "Oh man!" He said startled, unfortunately the reptile noticed. "Oh my, who is this?" It asked in a gruff masculine commanding voice. "Uh... my name is Ben Tennyson... just uh... passing through... he he... heard some talking and decided to check it out" he said walking over to the creature.

"Well then, maybe we shall make introductions, I am Veldora the Storm Dragon" the entity said roaring a bit. "And this, is my recently met slime companion" he then pointed to a small orb of liquid on the floor which had two eye looking marks on him. "Huh? A slime?" Ben said looking at it, "slimes don't commonly think, yet my new companion can" Veldora said. The slime then made a few twitching movements, "I... didn't catch that" Ben said. "My friend isn't able to talk as he has no voice, though if you wish to communicate I shall bestow the skill soul voice upon you so you can understand him" the dragon spoke again.

"Soul Voice?" Ben asked, Grnad Sage then answered "Soul Voice, a unique skill that gives anyone the power to hear the thoughts of creatures or people who aren't able to physically speak as if they're listening to their soul or reading their mind" it explained. "If you want I shall bestow it upon you, under a few conditions" Veldora added. "Depends... that skill sounds handy, but what are the conditions?" The shapeshifter asked, "only that you not fear me, and that you shall visit me sometimes is all" he explained. "Well... if that's the case... sure" Ben said, "then focus on my slime friend, concentrate hard on his personal thought magicules and attempt to analyze them" the dragon explained.

Ben then looked directly at the small blob, then tried to sense the magicules around him. So far he heard nothing, then he saw the magicules around him, especially on the slime. "Woah" he said, "extra skill Magic sense acquired. Another additional skill Soul voice is being attempted to use" Grand Sage said. The boy wondered how he could access the soul voice, the had a thought, 'wait, if I use Scan-Analyst to analyze the magicules from the slime, then maybe I can hear him' he said. Then used Scan-Analyst to read the magic molecules of the slime, once he did he was able to hear it. "Is he even able to use it?" A voice asked, Ben looked at the slime and nodded making it flinch. "Extra skill Soul voice acquired, would you like to use Soul Voice?" Grand Sage asked.

"Yes please" Ben said excitedly, once he did he was able to fully understand the slime "So is he able to hear me now?" it asked. "Yeah I can slime guy" he answered. "Oh cool, now, care to indulge in our conversation?" The blob asked, "eh sure, don't have anything else better to do" Ben admitted. Then sat down, talking with the two apparently the slime used to be a normal human from a world similar to our hero's, but he was stabbed to death after saving two of his coworkers. So he was reincarnated as a slime, as for Veldora, he us one of four true dragons in this world and after accidentally rampaging through village he was defeated in battle and sealed away with a spell called unlimited Imprisonment. And has been lying here for 300 years, Ben then explained his origin to them, including the Omnitrix and how he got here. Little to say both were impressed, "Wow that's pretty cool kid, wish I had a watch like that back in my world. Probably wouldn't have gotten killed, but I probably wouldn't have met Veldora either" the slime said.

"Indeed, you are a great hero young Benjamin" Veldora praises, "ha ha thanks... still I feel kinda bad that you have been locked away here for a long time" Ben said. "Yeah same here, since we're all buddies I feel bad that you've been stuck here" the slime added in agreement.

The dragon's eyes the widened a bit, "woah is that supposed to be the dragon version of puppy dog eyes?! Come on dude that's only cute coming from a girl" the slime said a bit creeped as Ben chuckled nervously in agreement. "I am willing to listen to any ideas you have, as it stands I have about 100 years or so until my magic completely runs out. My magicules have been leaking out of me lately" Veldora said.

"No wonder why there's so many valuable herbs and Ore here" the Slime said, "yeah, it's magicule central" Ben added. When they asked what happens if he runs out of magic energy Veldora said that he'll probably just die. As an attempt to free their friend both Ben and the slime used their skill to try and analyze the unlimited imprisonment. The slime had unique skills called predator and Great Sage that would allow him to eat and analyze things like how Ben's Scan-Analyst and Grand Sage works. Unfortunately both their attempts failed, "saw that coming" the liquid creature said "it never is easy isn't it?" Ben asked sitting back down again.

"Its hopeless" Veldora said, Ben groaned 'Jeez, such a downer' "isn't there anything we can do?" The slime said. "Grand Sage please tell me there's something" Ben said, "survey completed" both skills said. "Hey! It's rude to ignore me to talk to your own skills!" The dragon said annoyed, "sorry" Ben apologized as he listened to his skill.

"Okay, from how I see it/so after reviewing the survey my skill made" the two said. "It seems like we need to analyze the spell from both sides, then we can remove it" they said at the same time. "Now hold on, I can't analyze it from my side, the hero sealed my skill so I won't be much help" Veldora informed. "Then give us the data so I can analyze it" the slime said.

"Well okay, but it'll take a while and I don't want you two to wait so long. Not that I mind" Veldora said, "good point. Though I don't want to leave you hanging" Ben said, "even though I wanted to find other otherworlders like me I have to agree" the slime said. Then made an exclaimation point on his head "oh wait, I have an idea" he said. "How about you get in my stomach"...

An awkward silence came as Ben was bewildered as to how a tiny slime could eat an entire dragon. He then explain how his plan would work, by using his skills great sage and predator he will be able to analyze the spell from outside. Then while Veldora is destroying it from the inside he will be safe inside his slime in stomach and won't disappear forever.

Ben was impressed by this, then heard the dragon laugh as he agreed to it, honestly the blob was surprised he was willing to go along with it. "Besides, breaking through unlimited imprisonment together sounds fun, my only other option was to wait until you both came back" Veldora explained. "Well two is always better then one, and while two is a crowd three is a party" Ben said, "okay then, let's do this thang!" The slime said, "yes! Oh wait, before you proceed. Benjamin" Veldora said facing the human "yeah?" He replied, "you said your Omnitrix device has the power to turn you into unknown creatures. Is that correct?" He asked, "yah why?" Ben answered.

"Would you mind showing me one of these forms? I noticed you have a few skills that would be otherwise useless without the use of another, and I have a theory of how to make use of them" the dragon said. Ben shrugged, then fidgeted with the Omnitrix "Okay, time to try an old favorite. Come on Four Arms!" He said before transforming, in the transformation sequence his build began to grow larger and he became more muscular. He grew two more eyes and two more arms sprouted from underneath his main once, afterwards his skin turned red and in his place was a tall muscular red four armed and four eyed alien with a black stripe in the middle of his face.

"Oh yeah! Four arms, four times the pain" Ben jokes cracking his four fists, "My! That is an amazing power" Veldora said, "I'll say!" The slime cheered. Ben smirked, then his Grand Sage skill spoke "new skill now acquired" it said confusing Ben. "New skill?" He asked, "extra skill, Body manipulation now in effect, allows you to change the way your body appears, is built and what it's capable of, though it's only a few parts of your body at a time." The skill explained. "Additionally, your Archive Access And Skill Mimicry are now usable" it added.

"Ben what's wrong?" The slime asked, "my Grand Sage says I've got an extra skill called Body manipulation. And that my other skills Archive Access and Skill Mimicry are usable" Four Arms said returning to Ben. "Just as I thought, your skills analyzed the transformation sequence and in the process isolated it and turned it into a skill. With that now in hand you are now able to use your other skills as well now" Veldora said.

"Awesome! I guess that means I can access my aliens' powers and manipulate my body to use them myself without transforming" Ben said in realization. "Awesome!" The slime cheered, "additionally, I feel that we should give each other proper names" The dragon said. Which confused the two, "By doing so, we engrave our names onto each other souls to show that we are of equal power" Veldora explained. Then looked at Ben "You humans often referred to this as a family name", "well I have a last name, Tennyson. But I guess it can't do any harm getting another one to add to it" he said. "Now the name I give you both will offer my Devine protection, currently you are nameless so this will mark you as a monster with power" he said gesturing to the slime, "as for you Benjamin, I can give you my name still in the form of a title or alias to give you my Devine protection and offer your forms more power, as your aliens can be considered nameless as you don't know the original owners of their sampled essence" the dragon added.

Ben thought for a moment, and had to agree, he could use this creatures protection in case things got dicey, not to mention that he'd be on par with the dragon. "Okay I'll do it" he said, "yeah it sounds cool!" The slime said, "yes! Now give me a good name" Veldora said.

"When it comes to names, my aliens have the best, from HeatBlast to Diamond Head" Ben said, "let's see, try and stick to the theme since he is the storm dragon" his slimy companion said. "Storm... too easy" Ben said, "yeah"

"Oh Wait!" They said in unison "HOW ABOUT TEMPTEST!" They asked. "TEMPEST THATS WHAT YOU CHOSE!!!" The dragon roared scaring the two, "is it dumb?" Slimy asked melting into a puddle "ITS FANTASTIC!! FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I AM VELDORA TEMPEST!!" Veldora roared once more.

"Whew... you kinda scared us there" Ben said getting back up, "as for you... how does Rinmaru sound?" Veldora asked. "Yeah, that sounds pretty cool!" The slime no dubbed Rinmaru said. "As for Ben, how does this alias and title sound, Decca Tempest! Of the ten typhoons! As a tribute to your original family name" the dragon added. "Decca Tempest? Of the ten typhoons? Yeah I like the sound of that!" Ben Agreed.

"Then from henceforth, U2 shall now be known as Rinmaru Tempest and Decca Tempest! Of the Ten Typhoons!" Once he did that both other worlders glowed gold and felt something inside them. As if their souls had been supercharged with massive amounts of power, as if the names he gave them engraved themselves upon the two's souls. Once it was done Rinmaru spoke "I am! Rinmaru Tempest!" He announced, then the shapeshifting hero spoke. "And I am Ben Tennyson, also known as Decca Tempest! Of The Ten Typhoons!" Ben roared.

"Rinmaru, Decca" Veldora said, "Veldora Tempest" the two replies. Rinmaru then began to consume Veldora and the unlimited imprisonment spell. And it was faster then both he and Ben thought, "things are gonna be quieter without Veldora" the slime said, "yeah. But come on, let's go!" Ben said smirking.

Rinmaru nodded... well as much as a slime can...

For a while the two roamed around the caves, Ben in the mean time decided to try out some new forms and his other skills. He found out that using his Archive Access skill he can access the Omnitrix's DNA data banks and scan DNA from it. At the same time he was able to use Body Manipulation to alter his limbs and various other parts of his body to replicate those of his aliens. Such as using XLR8's legs or HeatBlast's fiery hands, additionally Ben also discovered that he can gain new body parts with Body Manipulation like Stink Fly's wings or Four Arm's Arms.

At the moment the two had been swimming across a lake in the caves, Rinmaru having been able to use water movement while Ben was using a new form he named Water Hazard, a tall humanoid clam man with crab like features, to propel water behind him. "Extra Skill, Water pressure propulsion/expulsion And water movement gained" he heard Grand Sage announce. Once he and Rinmaru reached the other side Ben turned back and the slime shot out some extra water inside him which formed as a blade of water and sliced a stalagmite.

"Woah?!" Ben exclaimed, "Wait can I do that?" He asked, then turned his arm into Water Hazard's. "Water Blade!" He said, then shot a stream of water from the porthole in his palm which took the form of a blade like Rinmaru's and sliced through five stones. "New skill, Water blade acquired, skills Water blade, water movement, and water pressure propulsion and expulsion have combined and evolved to form a new skill. Water manipulation" both Grand Sage and Great Sage said to their users.

"Awesome" Ben said, later on the two were faced with a large climbable cliff, the boy then turned into a new form, this one being a small blue monkey with four arms and six eyes, he named this one Spider Monkey. "Ha Ha!" He then Shot a web cable upwards, which granted him a new skill "sticky thread now acquired" and grabbed onto Rinmaru, then swung them to the top... only to be met with another monster. A giant black serpent, "WAH!!" Rinmaru screamed as the boy took a fighting stance. "Is it too late to turn back?" He asked, then realized "Hey Wait a minute, this thing isn't nearly as scary as Veldora..." the slime said.

"Not to mention I've been meaning to test out some new skills" Ben added smirking, "oh let's do it!" They both then rushed the snake, Ben turned into HeatBlast and Fire rocketed above it while Rinmaru just jumped. "WaterBlade!/FireBlade!" They both yelled before using their respective attacks, after Ben had tried Rinmaru's Water blade for his own he practiced with HeatBlast and developed a similar attack.

So he sent a blade of fire at the snake... which burned and slice it in Two... it three since Rinmaru cut off its head. "Woah, Rinmaru and Ben used fire Blade and water Blade and both were super effective" the slime commented. "We're gonna have to be careful with who we use it on" Ben said as they were about to walk away. "Wait a sec, if I use my predator and eat this snake I can learn all of its abilities right?" Rinmaru said thinking it over. "And if I scan it with my Scan-Analyst I can use Grand Sage to learn its abilities and Skill Mimicry to replicate them" Ben debated he then uses scan-analyst on the monster and learned its abilities before Rinmaru ate it.

"EWWW!!! I know I can't taste anything but still EWWWWW!!!!" He whined, "Well, looks like it's abilities are sense heat and Poison breath" Ben said. Then smiled "Wait, apparently my alien form Wildmutt can sense heat, and I've got a new alien that's able to create different types of gasses and expel them so I'm able to use poison breath too!" He said.

"Wow! We're gonna learn all the skills!" Rinmaru cheered before they ran down another cave. Then met another monster, a large armored lizard, an Armorsaurus.

Ben then used another new entry in his arsenal, a large humanoid brown dinosaur with elephantine feet and black and white pants. This was Humungosaur! While Rinmaru turned into a Black Serpent, apparently slimes can mimic other monsters.

"Scan-Analyst!" He said before scanning the reptile, "take this! Poisonous breath!" Rinmaru said, "Dragon's fist!" Humungosaur yelled before his fist was engulfed in flames. He then punched the lizard in the back which sent it flying into Rinmaru's cloud of toxic gas. Which melted it into something I unmentionable, "oh god..." he said turning back feeling like he was gonna hoark. "Note to self... use sparingly" the slime said.

Apparently a few forms of Ben can use his Skills, such as Humungosaur and Four Arms as examples. "Okay, this time we've got Body Armor. Oh combine Humungosaur's tough hide with Diamond Head's diamond body" he said. Afterwards they had a run in with a giant centipede, an evil centipede, this time Ben was the one who killed it using a new skill he created with Diamond Head called Diamond circular saw, and Rinmaru ate it anyway.

The skill they got from it was paralysis breath, Ben managed to get his by using his chemical gas form he calls Gutrot. Afterwards they met up with a giant spider, the Black Spider, Rinmaru killed it by throwing a bunch of water blades at it, Skill gained was Sticky thread and steel thread. Ben imitated this skill by combining Spider monkey's webs with Diamond Head's hard diamonds.

After that the two inadvertently caught a giant vampire bat in a spider web Ben made, Rinmaru had killed it and they both gained more skills. Drain and Ultrasonic wave, Ben figured he could've used Blitzwolfer, the Ben wolf form, for the sonic wave thing, but as it turns out there was an alien more suited named Echo Echo who can literally emit sonic screams. Drain however is something he was able to use but decided not to. Though thanks to the giant vampire bat Rinmaru finally gained the ability to talk. Much to Ben's relief that he didn't have to keep concentrating on reading his thoughts.

Finally the two found the exit of the cave, "looks like we're able to get out of here" Rinmaru said, "though how are we gonna get the door open?" He asked. "I can just use Armadrillo to pry it open, or we can phase through it with Ghost freak or Big Chill" Ben suggested. Only for the door to open, "shoot hide!" He said picking up Rinmaru and dragging him into a corner out of sight. "About time this door opened" a voice said, the two looked to see two men and a girl, most likely adventurers. "What are they doing here?" Ben asked.

"Adventuring maybe?" Rinmaru suggested, the guy who first talked then told the others to get close and they turned invisible. "Okay, that's pretty cool" Ben admitted as they tried to keep out sight, "what an incredible skill, imagine the peeping you can do! What a disgraceful perv that I absolutely want to make friends with later!" Rinmaru declared... only to receive a stomp on the head, courtesy of Ben. "Don't be a pervert slime boy!" He yelled out of anger.

Then the two had walked out of the cave, "finally fresh air" Ben said raking in a heavy breath. "Yeah, the air's so sweet, not that I can taste anything" the slime added, Ben chuckled at that. Then heard quick footsteps, looking towards them the two saw a group of small green humanoid creatures. Goblins.

"Strong ones... please forgive me but... do you have any business here out in the forest?" Asked one of the goblins in a frightened manner. "Strong ones?" Rinmaru said confused, Ben heard him with Soul Voice, "I think he means us man" he said, then turned his attention to the goblins. "No we don't, we just managed to finally get out of that sealed cave and are relieved to be able to take on fresh air again" Ben explained. "Oh uh... well..." the goblin who spoke was interrupted when Rinmaru started speaking... IN A VERY LOUD VOICE!!!

"HELLO THERE!! ITS NICE TO MEET YOU!! MY NAME IS RINMARU AND I AM A SLIME MONSTER!!" He yelled... loud enough to actually make Ben pass out in fact...

When the boy came to he an the slime were now at a village of sorts. As it turns out, the Golbins were at war with another species of monster named the Dire Wolves, and have been losing. All because Veldora disappeared, the two then declared that they'd help the golbins... though Rinmaru asked for something in return which Ben slapped him for...
