Brindlepaw bowed, mewing, "Thank you" before trotting to the apprentice den to dwell over her brother.

"This is freaky! Everyone's just dying!!!!" Leafeye told bluefrost who was currently grooming her very ambitious and highly hyper kits.

"I'm going to do everything I possibly could to protect the kits...you could help too.."

"Come on bugs, get out of that hole that i know your hiding in!" Emberkit licked her muzzle as her green eyes focused on the hole.

A small beetle crawled out the hole and emberkit got ready to pounce but suddenly the beetle got squashed by a tabby paw.

Emberkits small jaw dropped as she stated at the beetle.

She looked up at the cat who squished it and her face turned into a scowl.

"FLAMEKIT YOU MOUSEBRAIN! I WAS GOING TO CATCH THAT!!" Emberkit snapped while standing up straight.

"It was just a bug!!! You can catch others and eat them!" He purred.

Flamekit doesn't really know much about when cats are angry at him or when to shut his trap...he doesn't understand any stuff like that.

"Well how when most the cats in this clan got killed and now we can't even leave!?" Emberkit hissed slightly.

Stormkit came into view.

"Well there is a way out....it's kind of weird and uh...isolated..." stormkit said.

Emberkit looked at the dead beetle then at stormkit.

"Fine...I'm hungry so lead the way." She muttered.

Stormkit purred and quickly lead the way to steep grass and into a tunnel.

Emberkit stopped in her tracks as she looked at the tunnel.

"Are you mousebrains?! Must be. BUT how could you want to go into a tunnel after finding a cat that played with you dead in one!?!" She snapped.

"Well there I no other way...but..." stormkit trailed off as she locked eyes with Snowkit who was standing there with a mischievous grin.

Stormkits tail flicked a bit before she faced emberkit again.

"As I was sayiNg-" stormkit got cut off as she was pushed to the ground.

Stormkit looked over at who pushed her.

"Ashkit..?" Stormkit gulped.

"Yes?" Ashkit said sounding just as creepy as always as she has a paw raised with her small sharp claws out.

Stormkit quickly got up and backed away from them.

Emberkit rolled her eyes, "afraid of kiys thats like what...four moons younger than us?"

"They're creepy!" Stormkit gagged.

"Weak m-"

"Yeah em, stormkit is right! They're creepy!! WHICH IS WHY WE'RE BRINGING THEM WITH US!!" Flamekit yelled obnoxiously.

He yells so much that you'd swear he's deaf.

"What?!?" Emberkit gagged.

"WHAT?!?!" Stormkit screamed.

"Yeah! You three can make truse and em can teach them to catch bugs and then we can all play!!!" Flamekit purred while jumping and chasing his tail at the same time.

"What's going on over here?" Bluefrost said calmly and curiously...leafeye right by her side with her best rbf.

"Nothing just-" emberkit was cut off by flamekit

"JUST GOING OUT THE CLAN TO PLAY!" He looked up at them, his copper eyes filled with wonder.

"Your not going out there, and you two," she looked at her kits who were cornering stormkit, "definitely aren't going."

"WHAT?! NOOOOO" They both wailed.

Leafeyes ears want back a tad.

Snowkit quickly said to ashkit "stay here and terrorize her!" Before zooming over to bluefrost.

"Pleaaaasee mum!" Snowkit begged.

"No. It's not safe."

"MAMA PLEASE!!" Snowkit clinged onto bluefrosts front two legs.

Bluefrosts left ear went back a tad and leafeyes ears went back all the way.

"Fine...we'll all go out...leafeye will stay and guard the clan." Bluefrost sighed and snowkit and ashkit grinned.

"What?! I'm not staying here! What if the murderer comes?! Well?! Id be crow food!" Leafeye snapped.

"Maybe you should work on your skills more." Emberkit accidentally said causing leafeye to look more annoyed.

"Let's just go..." leafeye murmured, trotting out.

They mostly played and caught bugs.

"It's time to leave." Bluefrost said standing by the tunnels, leafeye almost inside the tunnels, flamekit is annoying emberkit by the tunnels.

"P...please I'm sorry." Stormkit wailed.

"Say it...'i want to die.'" Ashkit grinned evilly.

"Please."

"SAY IT! 'I. WANT. TO. DIE!'" Snowkit yelled.

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" Stormkit wailed before pushing past them and running into the tunnels, Snowkit and ashkit rich behind her.

"Hey wait up!" Flamekit yelped while running in after, accidentally bumping into emberkit.

"MOUSEBRAIN!" Emberkit ran in after him.

"Wait! Come on let's go get them." Bluefrost sighed while running inside, leafeye and brindlepaw after.

All the cats were everywhere...
They were all separated..

Flamekit wandered around looking for his siblings and kit friends, purring loudly as he continues to look around, his copper eyes filled with amusement.

Flamekit couldn't see very well because how dark the tunnels are.

He kept walking but stopped when he saw an outline of a tail at another tunnel corridor and a mossball.

He got super happy and quickly ran to it, as he does not like being alone and obviously doesn't notice danger.

He turned the corner happily but ended up yowling loudly as the cat bit into his neck.

The young kit didnt see it coming. He was just happy and didn't know any better...he didn't deserve what happened to him.

All the cats were together now...well except flamekit.

"Where's flamekit..." bluefrost asked while searching.

"Lost? He's gotten lost before like a mousebrain." Emberkit said.

Just moments ago they heard a yowl  so now they're freaking out and running together.

They kept searching...by now they are very far into the tunnels.

Brindlepaw sniffed around, "what's that smell?"

Leafeye trotted to the smell and stopped when they came across a dead flamekit.

He lay on his side, his mouth open, his paw reaching out...a mousball right next to his paw.

Emberkit stood there her eyes wide as she stared at her only brother who she always got annoyed at, while stormkit wailed.
