I was running to the destination of final selection and saw a boy just ahead of me. From what I could see he was wearing a blue haori with white clouds it also looked like he was wearing a kitsune mask on the side of his head.

I pick up speed until I reach up to him. I smile "hello" he looks at me wide eyed.... I must have caught him off guard he smiled back "hello". We talk for a bit his name was Tanjiro Kamado he was also off to final selection.

I have always had an open mind when meeting new people but I did think to yourself...

is it a good idea meeting new people? After all not everyone makes it out of final selection

I decided it was okay he seemed like he was strong and had amazing spirit I learned he'd trained 6+ months before coming to final selection. Tanjiro was a kind soul I could sense that... I just hoped he survived he'd make an amazing friend if he survived...

We made it to Mount Fujikasane it was beautiful. Wisteria flowers everywhere. Wisteria blooms here every season it keeps the demons trapped.

I walk up to where other people are standing and look around. I see a boy around your age dressed in yellow. A beautiful girl wearing a pink and green butterfly in her hair with a pink kimono. There's Tanjiro and a guy that has a scar on his face I already knew him his name was Genya... he's not very nice and neither is his older brother Sanemi but he has my respect unlike Genya. There's some others people too that don't catch your eye.

"Good evening tonight you've come to enter the demon slayer corps final selection" the two girls started talking they said some more things about where we were and that there were several starving demons on the mountain. They also talked about how long we needed to survive which was 7 days they ended with "now your trial begins" and everyone walked up the stairs.

It was currently night and everyone walked their separate paths. I walked deeper into the forest. 1 hour into the trial and my senses haven't picked up anything unusual. The sun is starting to rise as I walk deeper in wondering why I haven't seen anything yet I decide now would be a good time to get some rest so I climb up a tree and get as comfortable as I can.

I dose off.

Boom

I wake up to the tree shaking and someone at the bottom yelling at me.

"HEY YOU! GET DOWN HERE AND FIGHT ME!" I look down to see what appears to be a guy with a boar mask on his head with muscles for days. What does it want? I think then I jump down from the branch landing 6 feet away from the boy. He charges at me and you doge him with a frustrated look on my face "WHAT ARE YOU DOING BOY! WE AREN'T SUPPOSED TO FIGHT EACH OTHER!" I say in a frustrated tone. Steam comes out from his muzzle and he yells back "I DONT CARE! ARE YOU TOO SCARED TO FIGHT ME? HUH?" I look at him surprised then say "what's your name boy?" More steam comes from his muzzle and he replies raising his swords in the air "INOSUKE KING OF THE MOUNTAINS!" I look at him with a blank expression

what is up with this guy... he's crazy.. weird and crazy...

I gather mybthoughts and say in a annoyed tone "Inosuke well how about this... we can team for the rest of this trial then after we can fight" he lowers his swords and agrees "fine. I guess I'll allow you some time to prepare yourself seems fair since you're a girl" his words irritate me.

because I'm a girl?!? I'll show him when this is all over...

I smile and walk up to him extending your hand he grabs it roughly not shaking so I just shake his "my name is Kuroii Kanroji" he doesn't say anything

Ugh

I pull my hand away and I hear a stomach rumble my cheeks went pink until I realized it wasn't my stomach rumbling it was Inosuke's. I smile at him "I have food if your hungry Inosuke" he goes and sits down mumbling something under his breath. I look up to judge the time of day... the sun should be going down within the next couple of hours. I sit down in front of Inosuke and get some rice balls from in my pouch. I hand him a couple and they are gone as fast as I gave them to him I didn't even see him lift his mask that's how fast he was. "Inosuke..." he cuts me off "IF YOURE GONNA SAY MY NAME SAY IT RIGHT INOSUKE KING OF THE MOUNTAINS" crossing his arms.

I glare at him "HEY I JUST GAVE YOU FOOD STOP YELLING AT ME" we continue to bicker back and forth until I notice its dark enough for demons to emerge "we should set off again just walk around" he looks at me "THATS WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY THAT WAS MY IDEA FIRST" I sigh...

There's no winning with this guy...

Us two continue walking until I hear a twig snap behind us it was a demon I could sense it. We both draw out for swords and enter stances but before Inosuke can even think about lunging for it I did.

I somersault backwards through the air creating a long whip-like string of attacks.

Cutting the demons head clean off. I walked over to Inosuke who looked stunned I smiled at him. He steamed "YOU STOLE MY DEMON KILL! HOW DARE YOU STEAL FROM THE KING OF THE MOUNTAINS!"

I giggled "I'm sorry Inosuke King of the Mountains I won't let it happen again I promise" I say extending my pinky finger. He looks at me confused "what are you doing?" I look at him surprised "umm it's a pinky promise you wrap your pink in mine... unless you do want me to steal from you more" he grabs my pinky with his and pulls me in to him causing me to stumble a bit landing my hand on his chest to regain my stability. I blush HARD while he says "I promise you won't steal anymore of my kills..."

I burst out laughing "ahahahaha no I promise I won't steal any of your kills you can't say it like that" he lets go of my pinky mumbling to himself yet again.

The rest of the night was uneventful we did find our way to a pond though that's where we settled at sunrise.

We both sat at the base of a tree and I gave him more rice balls eating 2 myself. After we were done we drifted off.
