It was approximately three years after Alex had dropped the production that Jay discovered the tapes filed away in the back of his closet.

Everyone had moved on with their lives after Alex was gone. Surprisingly things got better for everyone who was involved in the production. Tim was finally getting better, etc.

But once Jay started to delve deep down into the tapes and start uploading as basically an archive. That's when shit started to go downhill again.
