Chapter Two

I saw one tall green pine tree after another, just forest in every direction of the bumpy, rocky trail road we drove on for what seemed like miles.

"(Y/N)? Are you alright?" Shada asked me.

"Y-yes... I-I'm fine, I promise." I replied as I held my head.

"Are you sure..? You're a little pale, you positive that your fine?"

"Y-yeah... I'm sure. Just a little homesick..." I smiled at Shada and thought to myself, 'Yeah, that and I'm feeling a little lonely...'.

I looked back out the window and saw the huge house from behind a few Pines and Evergreens.

But the house was a beautifully pure white except for where green moss lightly covered some of the boards. I walked into the house, The stairwell was Mahogany and so was the floor... It looked extremely expensive...

'This couldn't have been in my Father's care... He could barely afford anything for me, while my Mother was rich and also stole from other men.' I rolled my eyes at the thought.

"Wow! T-this is really beautiful (Y/N), but it's kinda large. Will you have any kids? Or something to help fill the empty spaces?" Shada asked me.

I nodded, "Yeah, something like that. But I like it to be quiet for now while I collect my thoughts."

Shada nodded, "Got it, I'll be taking my leave now. But I'll be back to check in on you to make sure you're doing okay. Alright."

"Yep... You'll see me in a few months to check in on me." I said giving her a thumbs-up.

Shada smiled, "Alright, bye (Y/N)."
