This, was the first time He had experienced anything horrible.

It had been a week since their last test, & since it didn't go so well, He regretted half of the things He did that day He last saw Raven. Dr. Holmes was busy babysitting some other project-creature, He had learned, He felt somewhat jealous, & He knew that He wasn't the only one, as Jacob, The Man With The Camera, reeked of jealousy. It turns out that Dr. Holmes was working with another man now, 'Stupid Steven', The Man In The White Coat, was his name - or one that Jacob gave him.

He often amused Himself when thinking about it, 'Stupid Steven V. Jealous Jacob'. Of course, it seemed odd that fights between staff would just suddenly break out, most of the staff were either spontaneous & happy, or too scared or confused with what to do.

Slender, had picked up on this.

There were 'Others' out there, 'like Him', but for some strange reason; He wasn't allowed to see them, talk with them or even talk about them. He soon began to question His own existence as well as the Others. He didn't know how many there were, or the reasons why He couldn't participate with them, on this day, He shouldn't have questioned anything about this life.

As Jacob left the room after a simple check up, He followed & settled inside the Camera-Man's mind, letting Himself see more than just the white walls.
Outside was a large control room where they could see Him through bullet proof, clear glass - odd, He couldn't see them.
A few scientists & other nicely dressed people were observing Him, they were either at the controls or scribbling things down or talking into tiny headsets.

He made sure to stay in Jacob's head, yet He wanted to explore. He got distracted when He noticed Jacob walk past another room similar to His. The difference was that a small, faceless girl was strapped to a grey, hard surface that hooked her up to many wires & machinery.
As He left Jacob's mind & entered hers, He soon began to feel scared, tired even - He longed for Dr. Holmes to come in & say that He was only dreaming, that what this girl was about to go through was only in His messed up imagination.

No.

This was real.
'Poppy', they had called her, was going to die.
The human scientists soon left her room as they turned around & watched the horror unfold.

Poppy screamed & cried loudly as she writhered in pain, despite her desperate actions to make it stop & escape from her shackles, no one went running in to save her, like they would've with Him.

Her last screech echoed in His head, as He soon left the scene, too traumatised to keep watching. He huddled up in the corner of His own cell, knees to His chest & head locked in between them.

He just wished for Raven to tell Him that it was only a bad dream, that that Man wasn't really out there hurting & killing His brothers & sisters.
