Hi, my name is Alex and let me tell you a story about a creepy shadow, that haunts me, for the rest of my life.

It was a sunny morning, I thought that nothing could go wrong. Until I finally heard the news. My grandpa was killed. Sharp wholes were all over his body. The police thought that they were bullet shots. I thought they were too, until I found out the truth, and I had to find it out the hard way.

Anyways, wait, where was I? Oh yah. My Aunt went over to my grandpa's house the day before grandpa's death. And now she's missing.

Now, sense my mom's dad is dead and her only sister is missing, the house now goes to us.

The house was 3 stories tall. When we got there, everthing looked fine, until we got to grandpa's room. There's were drawings and words all over the walls. Anyways we unpacked, and we tried to make it feel just like home. But I always had this uncontrollable feeling that I was being watched. I looked out the window about every minute, but all I saw were trees.

I had a hard time going to sleep that night. I think it's mostly because of the fact that there was a window as big as my door, but tilted 90 degrees to the side, and that my parents bedroom was on the third floor.

Also I heard that there was an old lady that died just a few weeks ago. People said that she was a witch, and deserved her sudden death because of the person she coursed.

The next morning I journey into the forest and I see simbles carved in the trees, and papers on trees with a drawing of a tall figure, with long arms, and long tenticles sticking out of its back. I continue walking deeper into the forest. It was 4:30 pm, so I started to heading back home.

When I get home it was dark, so I went into my room and got ready for bed. That night I could easily go to sleep, but I had a horrible nightmare that night.

In my nightmare I saw a man singing a lalloby to a young girl. Then suddenly someone in a black robe came and took the girl. Then the person in the black robe flew out of the little girls window and landed in front of the man's house, almost as if that person did it on perpose.

The man ran down stairs and opened the door, but when opened it he saw that whoever was in the robe was across the street right next to the forest. The man went running after the person in the robe to get his daughter. He went into the forest trying to find his daughter. But the person in the robe disappeared. He searched the forest high and low, until saddly, he found his daughter deard in a circle of trees.

There were six trees total. Each one had a different simble on them. The man went to the circle to pick up his daughter and carry her back home. But as he touched his daughter the person in the robe suddenly appeared out of know where and cassed a curse on the man.

The man said", why are you doing this to me?" The person in the robe replied", ah, why are you thinking about that? Think about what you did to me. Think far back, what did you do to someone that ruined that parents life." "You." "Yup, me." The person in the robe disappeared. Then, the man turned into a monster. The same one I saw in the picture. Then, he looked straight at me.

I suddenly woke up. When I woke up the monster was in my room. Then, in the blink of an eye he disappeared. I thought I was just having halusanation.

Until one morning I went out into the forest to see some animals. While I was walking down a trail I saw a nother trail attached to mine yet it wasn't on the map that my mom gave me. There were no footprints on it at all. And like any curious kid, I went on it.

Along the trail I found a video camera. I picked it up and turned it on, and looked like there were tons of recording. I watched all of the videos. There was one video, that showed that someone was ransacking there house. Which, that kind of weird knowing the fact that when we got here it was perfectly clean. The second showed her in some type of mining ficlity. And the last one showed her running through a cave, and once she got to the other side a sudden blaze started a fire. Also it looked like something was chasing her.

I wondered if it could have maybe been that monsters tenticles.

I went to the second videos location. It was getting dark, so I hurried inside of it. I heard a noise. I was so frightened that I jumped sky high and landed on a generater. It turned on. While it was powering up, a recorded voice said", if you are hearing this, it must be dark, and there's someone, or something is chasing you. I know cause that happened to me and my bros too. Saddly I'm the only serviver. There are 3 generaters to an elevator. Once all of them are on, make sure your out of its site, and hop right on."

It was dark and scary. I couldn't hear, or see anything. Luckily, the monster wasn't there that night, so I made it above ground.

I rushed back home to tell them what happened, but when I got there all mom was, was mad. I got grounded, but that didn't stop me from escaping.

When I went outside it was sunset. I went running to the same place my aunt was in the third, and final video. I finally saw the cave. I went through it. On the other side of the cave, I finally saw the end, but when I came out of the cave, there was no fire.

But what I did see was the monster. I turned around and ducked yet the monster didn't attack. I turned back around and I asked", what's your name?" He didn't say anything. He tilted his head at a tree. I looked at it. It was a picture of him, but this time it said", Slender Man." I asked him", why did you kill my graandpa." One of his tenticles came out of his back and carved the word", rage" on a tree. He carved another word, but this time it was", spellbound." I told him", the Witch died a cooler of weeks ago from age."

Slender Man looked straight at me and let out a loud noise. It sounded like a scream. Then I started to run back home, but where ever I went he was right in front of me. One of his tenticles were pointed right at my heart, but right before my life was about to end, the sun started to rise. Then again, just like that, in the blink of an eye he disappeared. And I never went even near a forest ever again.
