We both looked at the door unsure what to do but before I could actually react, Shinso was already between me and the door in case something would happen. However all that we could hear were thumbs, screams of unkown origin and a couple of very, very loud curses. Of course none of us got out but waited until we couldn't hear anything. This was not a fight for us. No one wanted to actually play the hero and die. We were unprofessionals. 

Hitoshi: I think it is save to go out now.

Me: Is it really?

Hitoshi: We can just look...

Me: And then? What if this is not save and she is waiting for us?

Hitoshi: Are you scared?

Me: Of course I am and I am even scared for you if you are that insane to go out there!

Hitoshi: She is our sister.

Me: That out there is not Eri.

Hitoshi: You know it is her.

Me: I know but you saw that thing in her dreams! It is not HER!

Hitoshi: .....

While we were discussing what to do, we heard a knock coming from the door which made us silence at once. After the knock we heard the heroes voice. It was Grand Torino as well as Recovery Girl. Both of them called our names.

Torino: Snow?

Recovery Girl: Hitoshi?

We were like frozen on the spot. I guess we just didn't know what to do right now after hearing all that commosion. This was normal for sure. Hitoshi's bravery from a couple of seconds ago was now gone as well. He was insane for even think about opening that locked door at the first silence. We could have been screwed if these heroes wouldn't have made it and it was Eri which was waiting for us.

Anyways, after a bit of time, we both moved to the door, unlocked it and then came to see the heroes. They didn't look good at all. Sratches here and there, open wounds as well as just... well they looked out of energy but they were alive and that was the most important thing.

RG: I am glad to see that you two are alright.

Hitoshi: Eri?

Torino: She is in the living room out cold.

Me: Is she?

RG: No, NOOOO, we wouldn't kill that adorible girl. What do you take us for?

Hitoshi: We didn't think at all.

Me: We just heard...

Hitoshi: Sounded brutal.

Torino: It was.

Me: What was going on?

AS they kinda started to lead us out the room to the living room, they also started to tell us about the fight. It seems as if my suspicion was right. Eri was no dog at all. Torino said she came out and then straight for my room without thinking twice but he tried to get her distracted and managed to do so after annoying her a bit. Recovery Girl had something with her which was more or less a sleeping drug which they put her on. Hence the sleeping monster in the middle of the room. The room itself looked as if a war broke out. 

Eri was quite huge in her animal form which was by far no animal. She had claws that were quite long and a body which reminded me of a bear but she did had feathers and... somewhat owl figures while her teeths looked more like tiger or shark teeths... to sharp for bears for sure. Otherwise I would have said she was an owlbear but she was more than this for sure. The tail was long and reminded me of a lion as well. She was a mixture of too many animals.

Hitoshi: What now?

It was finally someone who put the obvious question we all wanted to have an answer to at the table. I wanted to ask it as well since we all kinda were on suspense and quite scared and afraid of the answer.

RG: We will have to watch her for a bit.

Torino: Don't worry, we will show her how to handle her inner animal.

RG: I doubt that this is possible which is why I will inform Power Loader about this. Together with him, I should be able to create a new bracelet which should be able to keep her inner animal in check... but poor girl. This is definitely something they did while having her like a lab rat.

Me: She will be right?

Hitoshi: Trust them. They can make the impossible possible.

Me: I just feel bad.

Torino: Don't. You saved yourself and everyone in this household from a tragedy. We were only prepared today because you told me about this earlier.

Me: I know but.... 

RG: It's not your fault.

Me: I can't stop thinking that her inner animal reacted to me and it is because of me that she ran wild.

Torino: Sooner or later she would have been anyways and right now, you saved her from that. We can now do something about it and she will live a save life. Just think like that.

Me: Thanks....

My tail was right in my hand as I was looking at Eri. I was still scared and I wanted to shift and run but I was here and I did something. Maybe it was not that bad to be an omega at all. No one would have been able to see this coming and no one could have actually recognised the danger. I had heightened senses which is only why I felt this way around her.

This night was just simply crazy and I was glad that the heroes told me and Hitoshi to sleep in Zashi and Sho's room. The way the room smelled was just calming us down and we were exhausted. I was more than him since I used my quirk earlier. So no wonder that we both just feel asleep when we got into the room and laid down on the bed for a bit.
