Taehyung pov

I took place next to her on the bed putting an arm around her. She placed her head on my chest.
    'y/n do you want to talk about it?'

she shook her head
   'can we just sleep?' she asked with a weak voice and I nodded. it didn't take long for her to fall asleep, but I kept thinking about what she was saying.

'please don't die'

whom was she talking to in her dream?

 Y/n pov
I woke up in Taehyungs arms. I thought about last night. He was actually so sweet, and it was such a different side to him. One that I hadn't seen before, not once in the passed months. 

It kind of confused me.

What also struck me was that I had slept so steady in his arms. I could hardly remember the last time I slept so vast.
   'hi' he said as he probably noticed I was awake
    'hi' I said, and it was on one hand a bit awkward and surprisingly on the other not at all.
    'I am sorry if I woke you up last night' I said releasing myself from his embrace.
He sighed in a slightly annoyed manner 
    'don't apologize for that y/n'
     'uhm okay, not-sorry then'
     'but thank you for you know comforting me'

Taehyung didn't really reply to that. He took a deep breath 
   'did you lose someone? You kept repeating don't die'

I let out a deep sigh, I hardly talked about this but for some reason I felt the urge to tell him. 
    'it was my sister, she died, in my arms'
     'oh I'm sorry' he replied'how did she die?'
     'she uhm got hit by a car'
I closed my eyes as I saw the images of the accident replaying in my mind
     'her dying words was her request for me to leave my fiancé so I did. I mean he is an asshole. but yeah she was the only family I had left'
    'that's horrible y/n'
Taehyung put his hand on my arm, sending a shiver throughout my body.
     'yeah'

We stayed like this for some time, then I looked at the clock
    'you have a meeting at 10:00 so I think we should get up' I suddenly said.
     'oh yes of course' he said in a way that seemed disappointed?

Taehyung pov
The day of Yoongis party had arrived and I asked y/n to come in my office.
    'y/n, as you have organized tonight's party for Yoongi's birthday I think you should also attend'
     'uhm okay' she said not excited at all
     'you're not excited to attend a party?'
     'uhm well I don't know yet, depends on the party'

I grunt

did this girl always have to be like this?

 Later that evening the party had started and people were gathering in our mansion. I was sitting with Yoongi and he hadn't been super cheery.
   'hey brother what's going on? you don't like the party?'
    'no, it's fine. y/n did a great job it's just that I would like Jimin here' Yoongi said to me a sad and I looked at him.
    'I know brother but it's not a great idea'
     'I know' then he looked up and his face turned into surprise 
'hey look it's y/n.
'she looks hot' 

I followed to where Yoongi's eyes went. I gasped, y/n was wearing a long red silk dress and as the theme was masked she also wore a lace mask, her hair was straight behind her ears and she was wearing red lipstick.
    'you're drooling brother' Yoongi smirked
     'I would never' I replied sarcastic, but I was already getting up from the couch walking towards y/n.

She looked amazing and I couldn't really care anymore about other people at the party. I saw Yeontan running to her and she kneeled down to pet him.

 
y/n pov
I walked in and as I kind of feared it was a typical 'mafia' party or at least similar to Taemin's and mine engagement party:
expensive booze everywhere, drugs on tables and half dressed girls everywhere.

but Taehyung had invited me and for some reason I felt I wanted to go, just for him. I saw him approaching but Yeontan was quicker and I chuckled
    'may I say you look stunning' Taehyung said as I went up again, a giggling feeling erupted in my stomach. 
I acted extra surprised
    'is that a compliment? from Kim Taehyung himself?'

He rolled his eyes, I giggled by his courtesy.
       'you may, if I may say the same about you', a boxy smile appeared on his face.

gosh he was stunning.

    'Yeontan really likes you' he said
    'well that is two sided'.
My eyes were scanning the room and I turned again to Taehyung
    'I have to talk to Yoongi' I said, because I had a surprise for him.
