Epilogue
Brianna:
After four and a half years, Nick and I are finally getting married, and I couldn't be any more excited. You may ask why that long, and now I'll explain why it took as long as it did. Our plans for getting married after Abigail was born changed when two months later, I found out I was pregnant. It was a surprise to hear, and it was something we didn't plan to happen. After healing from giving birth, and it was safe to have sex again, Nick was adamant about using a condom every time we had sex; that way, we could get married when we planned to. But then we ran into an issue. And that was the first night we could have sex again. The sexual cravings we had were so strong that our encounter was so intense and wild, it caused the condom to break. We tried being more careful after that, but it was too late. The pregnancy already happened, and now we have two kids: Abigail, who is now four, and our son, Jaxon, who is three.
Nick and I could have married after Jaxon was born, but where we wanted to get married, I wasn't up to bringing two little ones, and we figured it would be best to wait. That way, they could walk down the aisle with us, and so our kids could also be our flower girl and ring bearer.
Now we're back in the city I fell in love with, Paris, getting married right where Nick proposed. I didn't want a large wedding, but one where at least our friends and close family members could join in on our happiest time. And with us getting married where we are, and the cost of it all, Nick flipped the bill and paid for everyone's flight and hotel stay, and whatever else they care to do while we're here, they're on their own.
As I stand in front of the mirror looking at my reflection, while Lydia and Cora tie up and adjust my dress, I reflect on how the last five years have been for Nick and me, and how one big lie nearly cost where he and I are today. That is one time I don't even want to think about. And I won't.
Not today.
"Turn around," Lydia ordered.
I turned, and both Lydia and Cora covered their mouths as they squealed.
"Nick is a lucky man," Cora said, reaching and fixing a smudge underneath my eyes.
Then, I wrecked it again. "I can't believe this day finally came," I said as tears flooded my eyes.
"Don't cry; you'll mess up your makeup, again," Cora laughed.
"I'm not crying," I sniffled, carefully wiping away the tears. "I'm just so damn happy we're finally here. Three years after we originally were supposed to marry."
Abigail and Jaxon came running by, with Jaxon bumping into me as he chased Abigail around. I giggled. "You two let all of your energy out now because, in a few minutes, you both will be walking down the aisle, and I need you two to be on your best behavior."
"Yes, mom. We know," Abigail replied.
I looked at my friends and held up my hands while crossing my fingers. "God, I hope they do okay."
"I'm sure they'll be fine," Lydia assured. She looked up at the clock on the wall, then to me, and quickly clapped her hands. "It's time for you to go out there. Are you ready?"
I was more than ready. As excited as I was to become Mrs. Frederick, finally, my stomach dived when Lydia said it was time to head outside. I don't know why I suddenly became nervous. It's not like I'm walking down an aisle with hundreds of people sitting on either side of me. It's just a few people, really.
I didn't come here to be nervous or to have cold feet. I came here to marry the love of my life, and that's what I'm about to do. I lifted my arm and smiled. "I'm ready."
"I cannot wait to see Nick's face when he sees you walking towards him," Cora said while entwining her arm with my free one, as Lydia clung on to my other arm. They walked me outside and over to Alex.
Alex asked if he could be the one to give me away, and I happily accepted his offer. He was my closest best friend and was there when my father passed away when we were kids. As for my mother, she's here with us, but unfortunately, her health isn't the greatest and is pretty frail at the moment.
The music started playing, and I instantly felt my heart rate pick up speed. It wasn't that I was getting nervous again about Nick and me; I was worried about how the kids would do. I held onto their hands, and when it was time for them to head down towards their dad, I lowered to their level and said, "Abby, make sure you throw the petals to the ground and please make sure your brother is walking alongside you, okay?"
"Okay, mommy," she said, smiling.
"You can walk towards your daddy now. And no wandering off."
A smile formed on my face as I watched my kids walk to Nick. Abigail was doing what she was supposed to do; then I had to laugh when I saw Jaxon stopping to pick up petals and throw them into the air. Not only was I giggling. But everyone there was too. Abby realized she was walking alone and stopped. She turned around, hurried to Jaxon, grabbed hold of his hand, and then started walking back towards Nick.
It was now my turn. Alex looked at me and grinned. "This is it. Are you ready to go to your husband to be?"
"I am." I turned to Alex and hugged him. "Thank you. I love you, my friend. Now hurry and walk me to the love of my life before he thinks you're trying to steal me away from him again," I giggled.
"Yeah. Let's not let that happen again. I'd like to get back to Florida in one piece."
As Alex and I took our first step, I quickly closed my eyes, took a deep breath, then exhaled while opening my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I saw Nick smiling, wiping a tear or tears away from his eyes, and acting like he wasn't. But I knew him well, and that's exactly what he was doing. When we got to Nick, Alex gave me one last hug before handing me off to Nick.
"You look absolutely stunning," he whispered in my ear. "And when this night is finished, you'll know just how much you turned me on when I saw you walking to me."
While the officiant talked, Nick and I couldn't keep our eyes off each other. And when it came to saying our I do's, I couldn't help choking up as I spoke. And neither could Nick.
"Nick and Brianna, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the officiant grinned, then looked at Nick. "You may now kiss your bride."
"The moment I've been waiting for since I saw her walking down the aisle." Nick reached around and pulled me in for a long and scorching, demanding kiss. A kiss that excited my ovaries and had my panties feeling wet. It was a kiss I never thought would end, and when it did, I pouted, then I pulled Nick in for one more kiss.
"Friends and family, I would like to introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick."
As our wedding party and attendees clapped, Nick picked me up and carried me to the end of the aisle, then set me down and hugged me tightly. "We did it, Brianna. We finally did it!"
******
After having our pictures taken, it was our dinner and reception. As small as our wedding was, it was still beautiful; I was in heaven, and I wouldn't have wanted my wedding to be any other way. It was perfect. Nick's parents took our kids back to their hotel room, so Nick and I could finish off our wedding night with a bang.
After everyone left, Nick carried me outside, and what he brought me to shocked me. "Wow, Nick. Really?"
"You're my princess and deserve to be treated like one. I thought maybe you would want to end the night Cinderella-style," he happily said, then kissed me long and hard, leaving me breathless when he parted. My smile never left when I looked away from Nick, and over to the horse-drawn carriage Nick had waiting for us. It was a beautiful set up with a white and gold carriage brightly lit with lights, and there was also a beautiful white horse attached to the carriage, bringing us to our destination.
"Look at what the back of the carriage says," Nick said, pulling my hand for me to follow. And what he wanted to show me, I giggled. There was a sign saying, 'Just married... Finally.'
As always, Nick outdid himself again. And I wasn't going to complain, because I loved it.
Along the way to the hotel, I was in awe. I felt so in love and felt so loved that my heart wasn't sure what it wanted to do. It wanted to melt, but I needed it to be in one piece once we get back to the hotel. I needed it to be strong because once we're inside that hotel room, my heart will be working overtime. I already know what he wants to do to me, but he hasn't any idea what I want to do to him, and when it comes to us becoming one, I know we'll be like a fucking wild rabbits.
"You do know, that dress isn't staying on more than a second once we enter our penthouse suite, right?"
I smiled wide and calmly said, "I know. And neither will your clothes be on that long either."
We finally got to our hotel, and Nick carried me inside the hotel, continued carrying me inside the elevator, then carried me into our room. And he was right. Precisely what Nick said would happen, happened. He must have studied how to undo my dress back at the Eiffel Tower because my dress was off faster than it went on, and with Lydia tying it up for me.
We had sex all night.
Sex against the walls.
Sex in the shower.
Sex on the couch.
Sex on the counter.
Lastly, we had sex on the bed.
And when the sun started rising, we called it a night. Nick pulled me into his arms, where I rested my head on his chest, caressing his abdomen while he stroked my back. My eyes were just starting to close when he said something that had me remembering; I forgot to tell him something important.
"After all the sex we had, and since we used no condom, I'll bet you anything that you got pregnant."
My head popped up, I looked at him with a smile, and with a smile still plastered on my face, I leaned to his lips, gently locked my lips with his, and passionately kissed him. Then I removed my lips and looked him in the eye, smiling again.
"It's too late for that. I'm already four months pregnant."
