The Guy in a Gown
Chapter 38 | The Guy in a Gown
I wake up with bright lights blinding my pupils, and a pale blue ceiling that allows my brain to relax. My eyes shift to the side, and there, I find a sleeping banshee waiting for my awakening.
"Lydia?" My voice will not allow me to waste my breath on her, but my thought can not withstand the memory of Lydia to fade.
With my voice gone, my eyes shifts to the front, and I adjust my head to a raise it a little to see my body. I see various tubes that connected to my chest, my arms, and my neck. Although, the white bed sheets and hospital gown makes the experience comforting because the knowledge of being cared for makes it seem as if I'm not alone in my own state of mind. My eyes shifts back to where Lydia was laying, but suddenly, the creamed velvet coach was empty. All there is, is a deep print that signified Lydia's existence.
"Lydia?"
My eyes searches the room for Lydia, until suddenly, my eyes notices that the door is ajar.
When is a door not a door?
When it's ajar.
I hasten towards the door, quickly removing the tubes and needles. My bare feet hovers over the cold white marble flooring in fear of the chills rolling down his spine.
"Stiles!" I look behind me, and there I see, Malia, "Come back to bed. Just close the door."
Malia tardily gets of the hospital bed and moves in a seductive motion. "Stiles," as she walks towards me, she begins to slowly lift her shirt up, "Don't you want me?"
"I..." I turn to head, trying not to be tempted by her, "Malia, this isn't right. This isn't real!" As I say that, I turn my head again and notice Malia's naked body standing in front of me.
"What are you waiting for?" Malia takes one move step forward and reaches for my hands. She guides me to where my hands should be placed around her waist. "You know what to do from here." Malia whisper into my ear.
"Malia stop!" I gentle shove her and just by one blank of the eye, she's laying on my bed, with the blanket wrapped around her.
"Stiles! I'm all yours! Take it." She bites her lips and I look back toward the door.
"You need me, Stiles. Don't deny it." Malia smirks as she licks her lips.
"No. I need Lydia." I open the door and hasten out of my room. The hallway begins to darken, but I don't regret my decision of leaving Malia there. The only thing I could think of is seeing Lydia. Her smile, her eyes, her laugh, everything; I just can't wait to see her an wrap my arms around her.
I come closer and closer towards the light, but my eyes begin to be blinded by its brightness. My skin can feel the ray of the light, and in that moment, I knew I could make it to Lydia.
Wake up. Wake up, Stiles.

"Wake up, Mr. Stilinski." I open my eyes to see a girl in a light blue uniform, with her dark brown hair tucked behind her ears. In a way, she reminded me of what Allison looked.
"Who are you? Where am I?" I feel a puff of air on my chest and I look down, only to find that I'm in a hospital dress. "Why am I wearing this hospital gown?!?"
"It's not a hospital gown." The girl with the blue shrubs responds.
"Oh, right. It's my wedding dress." I say sarcastically, followed by a dry laugh.
"No, we like to call it, the calming dress."
"That makes no sense."
"You make no sense." She glares.
I pause to comprehend what on earth is going on right now, until something hits me like a truck.
"Wait, who are you?" I say, squinting my eyes and furrowing my eyebrows in a confused expression.
All she does is stare at me and laugh in a steady, yet creepy way. Suddenly, I see from the corner of my eye, to my left side, a worried woman walking across the hallway, then pausing as she reaches my door.
"There you are, Adeline!" Says the woman as she approaches her and barges into "my" room. The girl in front of me begins to cry and whine as the woman pulls her out of my room. All I do is watch as the woman struggles to get the girl out, while the girl is kicking the air and scream.
What the fuck is going on?
Right when they reached the door, my brain begins to function and absorb what is happening.
"Can somebody please tell me where I am!!?!?!!"
The woman looks back at me with sincerity and despair, and says, "Oh honey, you're in rehab."
