Damon had known the vampire that he killed. His name was Will and he met him in New York City. He figured out that going to New York could give him a lead on where Katherine was. He wanted to make her pay for killing Elena.

He told Stefan that he found a lead on the Katherine and so, Damon traveled to New York City. But he went with Rebekah. Stefan was supposed to come, but he had to stay behind and deal with the problem of missing blood bags which led him to believe Silas was in town.

It was the morning and Eira had awakened before Klaus. He looked so peaceful and she didn't want to wake him up, so she just got up by herself. She went downstairs to the kitchen and she made herself breakfast.

Klaus woke up and he didn't find Eira by his side, so he panicked. He rushed down the stairs until he heard a heartbeat coming from the kitchen. It was her heartbeat and he could smell the scent of her blood. He rushed into the kitchen and he called out her name, startling her. She jumped, almost dropping the bowl of cereal that she had in her hand.

She looked at him with worry. She had caught the urgency in his tone,"What's wrong?"

Klaus sighed in relief, seeing her,"I thought... I thought you were gone. I thought every moment with you might have been a dream."

Eira got up from her seat and she walked over to him and she wrapped her arms around his torso in a hug. He relaxed and he wrapped his arms around and rested his chin atop her head.

"I'm not going to be suddenly gone from your life again. I promise," Eira swore and she pulled away from him slightly, looking up at him. "I'll never forget that I love you, again."

She rested her forehead against his and his heart spoke for him,"I love you."

"I love you, too," Eira said with a smile forming on her face.

He kissed her simply because he couldn't help himself from kissing her. If he ever had to go a whole lifetime without kissing her, he'd go insane, he was sure.

Eira smiled into the kiss and then she pulled away from him. She walked back to her seat at the table bar and she started eating her cereal again. Klaus came behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

"You know, I think you might be too clingy with me," Eira teased.

Klaus rolled his eyes at her teasing,"The same could be said about you. You're always around me."

Eira finished her cereal and she turned her head towards him. She pecked him on the lips,"Then we can be clingy together."

Eira eventually got a call from Stefan, telling her to bring Klaus with her back home. So, she did. She walked through the door of her house with her hand in Klaus's and he let her lead the way. He'd follow her anywhere.

Eira and Klaus walked into the parlor room. Caroline was there. She was living there because of the vervain in the water supply. A glare came onto her face once she saw Klaus.

"What is he doing here?" Caroline questioned. "Shouldn't he be out chasing Tyler to the ends of the earth? Or are there still some hopes and dreams he wants to crush around here?"

Klaus had an amused smirk cross his face and Eira gripped his hand in anger at Caroline,"Stefan wanted him here. And, this is my house, so I can bring whoever I want here."

Klaus looked down at Eira, he liked when she defended him and got angry for him. It was a turn on and he smirked. He rubbed circles on her hand with his thumb, making her calm down.

Caroline looked at Eira and dropped the glare she had,"Sorry."

Stefan came onto the scene and he looked at Klaus and Eira,"Good, you're here. I need your help. I think Silas is in Mystic Falls."

Stefan told Klaus about the missing blood bags in the hospital and how he thought it was Silas. Klaus poured himself alcohol into a glass.

"Well, let's say for a moment that it was Silas. I'm struggling to see how this affects me," Klaus stated, sitting down on the couch.

"Look. Silas wants to die and be reunited with his one true love, but he's supernatural, so if he takes the cure and dies, he gets stuck on the Other Side," Stefan started to explain.

"How Shakespearian," Klaus commented, taking a sip of his alcoholic drink.

"But if he destroys the Other Side altogether, he can take the cure, die, and pass on, but in destroying it, every dead supernatural being will return to our side," Stefan finished explaining.

"That means every werewolf, every witch, every vampire. I wonder how many of those you personally killed. Care yet?" Caroline asked, bitterly.

Klaus looked at Eira. He definitely didn't want every dead supernatural creature he killed, going after her to spite him. Stefan noticed the look. Klaus turned his attention to Stefan,"My interest is piqued. How do we stop him?"

"Bonnie said Silas needs to complete three massacres to do this spell. Before Professor Shane died, he convinced the pastor to blow up the Council. Next, Eira killed your hybrids, and now he only needs one more massacre, so if he's here, that's what he's doing. We need to find him," Stefan said.

Stefan brought them to Shane's office to find any clues of where Silas's next massacre would be. Or any clue of where Silas would be.

"What are we even looking for?" Caroline asked as they entered Shane's office.

"Well, if Shane really was working with Silas, chances are he was helping him plan his next move," Stefan said as everyone started looking around through the place.

"Where, on his evil villain to-do list? 'Steal blood, perform 3 massacres, pick up dry cleaning'?" Caroline asked, sarcastically.

"Actually, not to nit-pick, but we evil villains usually use minions to pick up our dry cleaning, that sort of thing," Klaus clarified.

Eira chuckled and Klaus smiled over towards where she was standing. Caroline couldn't stand Klaus.

"Why is he necessary again?" Caroline questioned.

"Well, we don't know what Silas can do, so if we do have to go head to head with him, an Original hybrid who can't die might come in handy," Stefan answered.

Eira looked at Stefan with a glare. She didn't like him using Klaus just because he couldn't die. He was hers and she didn't even want him getting hurt.

"Besides, Stefan and I work well together, or at least we did in the twenties," Klaus smirked.

"Granted, my emotions were off," Stefan said as Klaus sat down in the chair behind the office table.

"And that's why you were more fun," Klaus commented.

"Well, we know that's not why you like Eira. You like her because she has emotions," Stefan stated, going through the filing cabinet.

Eira was searching through the books on the shelf along with Caroline. She looked over as Stefan said that and she looked at Klaus.

Klaus looked at her intensely, holding her gaze and she became frozen as he spoke,"Some people can't help the allure of innocence, Stefan. Even the darkest of hearts are drawn to it."

Caroline looked between Klaus and Eira. How they stared at each other. She almost gagged at the amount of tension between the two of them. Stefan didn't like how he was looking at his sister, at all. Klaus's eyes roamed her figure and Eira's breath caught in her throat as she started to feel self-conscious. Klaus's stare was a mixture between lust and love. Eira looked away from Klaus with a blush and he smirked.

Eira's phone rang, knocking her out of her reverie. She took it out of her pocket and she looked at the caller ID. She immediately put it on silent and put it back in her pocket.

Klaus and Stefan looked at her curiously and Stefan was brave enough to ask,"Who called?"

Eira slightly froze, but she covered it up. She couldn't tell a lie or else they would know it. So, Eira shrugged,"Somebody."

Her heart stayed even and she wasn't lying. It was somebody. She just couldn't tell them who. Klaus and Stefan both knew she was avoiding the topic, and they didn't push it.

Caroline pulled out a book,"I think I found something. 'Symbolic Figures in the Dark Arts.' Didn't Bonnie talk about Expression Triangles? Here."

Caroline put the book down on the office table where Klaus was sitting down at. Caroline opened the book and pointed at a triangle. Stefan read from the opposite page,"In some schools of magic such as Expression, human sacrifice can be used as a focus for power. It is rumored that the addition of two supernatural sacrifices compounds the mystical energy, creating an Expression Triangle."

Caroline pointed at symbols,"Humans-- that was the council fire. Demons-- Klaus' hybrid failure."

"Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a failure. What's the third?" Klaus smirked.

"Oh no," Caroline said, realizing the third.

The third massacre had to be witches. They got a map of Mystic Falls and formed an expression triangle, using the places of the last two massacres. Stefan stepped out of the room to call Bonnie and Caroline went with him because she didn't want to be alone with the two lovebirds.

Eira had a ruler and she put it on the map. Klaus was across from her, watching her draw the triangle. She connected the two dots she drew that were indicating the last two massacres.

She drew the triangle, but she had only drew one triangle and she pointed at a dot on the map,"It should be there."

Klaus smiled, amused and he leaned over, kissing her cheek,"Somebody's been skipping their geometry classes."

"Well, yes...," Eira trailed off. "I've been spending all my time with you."

Klaus took the ruler and the pen from her, he started drawing another triangle,"There are actually two places where the third massacre could be."

"And that's why you should've been drawing this in the first place," Eira stated. "Even my lines are a little uneven."

Klaus chuckled and he leaned in towards her, kissing her on the lips. Eira melted and she kissed him back. He tangled one of his hands in her hair as he kissed her.

He pulled away to allow her to breathe and he ran his finger down her cheek,"You avoided telling who called you. Should I be worried?"

Eira's heart beat increased and he couldn't tell whether she was nervous about the question or whether it was because he was running his finger over her cheek.

Eira bit her lip,"I-I.... I just can't tell you. It's not that I don't want to, I just can't."

Klaus nodded and he kissed her cheek. She looked at him and she asked,"You're not mad?"

"I couldn't stay mad at you even if I tried," Klaus stated. "I know that you'll tell me, eventually and I'll wait."

Eira smiled and she kissed him, but the door to Shane's office opened and she quickly turned around with a blush. Klaus chuckled from behind her.

Stefan and Caroline walked in and she asked,"Did you find Bonnie?"

"No, but I talked to her dad. I think I found Silas," Stefan answered.

The four of them went to find the two locations of where the third massacre could be. Stefan and Klaus went to one while Caroline and Eira went to the other one. Caroline didn't want Klaus and Eira to be together finding one because she was worried they would get too distracted with each other. Caroline didn't want to go with Klaus, so Klaus went with Stefan and Eira went with Caroline.

Caroline was holding the map on her phone, leading them to the location. Eira was confused on why Caroline split her and Klaus apart.

"Why couldn't I go with Klaus?" Eira asked.

"The tension between you two is so obvious. At least, on his side," Caroline said.

"Tension?" Eira asked and Caroline completely stopped, shocked that Eira had to even ask.

Caroline turned around and looked at Eira, who was completely oblivious,"Oh my god, Eira. Clearly, he loves you and he's obviously going to lust after you."

Eira still looked clueless and Caroline continued until Eira had a look of realization,"Klaus wants to sleep with you. Deflower you. Have sex with you. The act people do to make children."

"Oh," Eira put it together when the children-making part came up. Eira blushed deeply, although Caroline couldn't see it because it was dark.

"God, you are so innocent. It's infuriating," Caroline said and turned around, walking again to the location.

They found the location, but it was not the correct one because of the lack of witches. Caroline vamp sped Eira to the other location and they slightly had to use a map to get there, but the chanting of witches led them the rest of the way.

Klaus had Stefan pinned to a tree, not wanting Stefan to save Bonnie so Silas couldn't get what he wanted. Caroline and Eira rushed over to them and Caroline spoke,"Klaus, we need to save her."

"How? The only way to stop the witches is to kill them, and then Silas gets what he wants," Klaus said.

One of the witches held a dagger above Bonnie and was about to kill her. Bonnie was screaming in pain and Caroline vamp sped over and stabbed the dagger into the witch's chest. The witch died and so did the eleven other people.

Stefan took Eira back home and then he took Bonnie to her home. The last thing Bonnie remembered was being at the island. So, Stefan had to explain to her that Elena was dead and Katherine had the cure.

Klaus stayed and buried the twelve witches while Caroline watched, she felt bad. It took him until morning to bury them all. He was glaring at Caroline for killing the witches.

"There. Twelve graves for twelve witches. Like it never happened," Klaus rolled up his sleeves and put on his jacket. "Only it did happen, and now Silas has everything he needs to open the gates to hell on earth."

"You were just gonna let Bonnie die," Caroline said.

"I don't care about Bonnie, Caroline. I care about Eira and now if every supernatural creature comes back, all the people I've killed will go straight for her. She'll be at risk," Klaus glared. "And if she's at risk, Caroline, I'll make sure you suffer the worst fate for making that possible."

Caroline walked away from him and left. Klaus turned around, but he felt a presence behind him. He turned and found Shane or rather Silas behind him.

"Thank you. Of the three massacres, this is the one I was dreading," Silas-Shane said.

"Silas, I presume," Klaus smiled.

Silas asked him for the cure and Klaus responded, patting his jacket pockets,"I'm sorry, mate. Don't have it."

Silas smiled,"But you know who does, and the last thing you want is for that cure to be used on you, so you bring it to me, and it won't be. You get to live."

"Yeah. With all of my dead supernatural enemies from the Other Side. You know, you don't scare me, Silas, or Shane, or whoever you are," Klaus chuckled, dryly.

"I think I know what does," Silas said and pulled out the white oak stake, but it was just an illusion.

Klaus and Silas got in a fight. Silas stabbed Klaus with the white oak stake in his back, near his shoulder. He broke off a piece and left the other piece stuck inside Klaus.

Damon and Rebekah went to New York City and Damon found records of Katherine that the vampire he killed, Will, had. They found a list of Katherine's possible whereabouts. They called Stefan and told him about it. Stefan left to go meet up with them and check the places that Katherine could be.

That was when Eira decided to call back the person who called her earlier. The person answered after a couple of rings.

"I don't like being ignored by my best friend," Katherine said on the other side of the phone.

"I couldn't answer it. I was surrounded by people," Eira replied.

Katherine sighed,"When can I stop keeping up this ruse that I have the cure? You were supposed to give it to Klaus. Is someone having relationship troubles?"

"No!" Eira immediately denied and Katherine smirked from the other side of the phone. "Silas wants it. It was better if no one knew I had it. But, I'm going to give the cure to someone now."

"And who might that be?" Katherine asked.

"All I need is Elijah's number."

Author's Note: So, yes. Eira has the cure. That will be explained in the next chapter. Elijah's gonna be back and I'm so excited.

And yeah, I changed that Klaus quote because well allure of darkness. That ain't them as a couple.
