Damon was watching over Alaric, at least that's what he told her and Stefan went with him. Damon revealed to Stefan the night before that there was still white oak left from the Wickery Bridge sign.

    Stefan was all for killing Klaus now that he broke Eira's heart. He wanted Klaus to suffer for hurting her and he would stop at nothing until he saw him dead for it.

    Damon of course wanted to kill Klaus because he had hurt his sister but he also wanted to kill him to protect Elena. He still loved her even though she got Eira hurt. He felt bad that loved her but he couldn't help it.

     Eira had forgiven Damon for defending Elena and doing all things for Elena. She understand now why he did it. Damon cared for Elena like she cared for Klaus and she couldn't hold his love for her against him.

     Eira was at home moping while Stefan, Damon, and Alaric were making stakes out of white oak at Alaric's apartment. Stakes that could kill Klaus. The person that she still cared deeply for.

    Stefan and Damon sent a text to everyone except Eira for everyone to meet them in the woods. They wanted it to be a secret meeting so they could reveal the white oak stakes. The Salvatore brothers showed the stakes to Matt, Caroline, and Elena. Bonnie didn't come. Now they were going over scenarios to kill one of the Originals.

   "Klaus has always been one step ahead of us, but now we have the advantage. We're all armed and they are all linked, meaning we only need to kill one of them. We need to seize the best opportunity, which means we need to prepare for every opportunity," Stefan explained.

   "Scenario number one," Damon said and pulled Elena over to him. "You get to play Klaus."

   "Rebekah is our target so we distract her and catch her off guard. To do that we need to keep Klaus separate and occupied," Stefan explained.

    "How are we gonna do that? Klaus and Eira aren't together anymore and she wouldn't want to hurt him," Caroline questioned.

   "We'll just tell Klaus that Eira is having a Romeo and Juliet attack of the heart. I'm sure that'll get him to come running," Damon said.

     After that they kept going over scenarios to make sure that they killed one of the Originals. They had twelve stakes and twelve chances to kill an Original.

    It had been awhile and Damon and Alaric came home. They were quiet so they didn't alert Eira. Damon was hiding his stake in the fireplace in his room. Then they all heard a noise from downstairs.

    Damon went to go check it out and he was going down the stairs when Alaric was thrown down them and into a wall. Damon looked at him and then when he turned around he was stabbed with knife by Rebekah.

   "Hello lover," Rebekah greeted and drove the knife in further. Then Rebekah took him with her to torture him for fooling her.

   Eira had heard the noise and she went down the stairs to find Alaric passed out on the stairs with blood on his forehead. She ran to him and kneeled down next to him. She shook him and after a couple tries, he awoke.

   "Are you okay? What happened?" Eira questioned.

    Alaric sat himself up with Eira's help and Stefan came around the corner. "What the hell happened to you?"

   "Rebekah happened," Alaric answered, holding a hand to his forehead.

     Stefan and Eira brought Alaric to the couch in the parlor and they sent him down. Stefan went to leave and Eira grabbed his arm.

    "Where are you going?" Eira questioned.

     "Caroline's gonna come over and watch Alaric. Make sure he's Alaric," Stefan explained. "I'm gonna help Damon."

   "I want to go with you," Eira said.

    "No," Stefan immediately denied and he pulled away from her, heading to the door. "Stay here."

    Stefan left and Eira huffed. She had no idea why he was so adamant about keeping her out of it. He was hiding from something from her.

    Eira stayed with Alaric until Caroline came. She gave him a bottle of herbs that he had to drink. She left and let Caroline watch him. When Alaric left, Eira went to Caroline.

   Eira walked up to Stefan,"What is Stefan hiding from me? Everyone's involved in something. What's going on?"

   "Nothing," Caroline squeaked out, being a horrible liar.

   "Caroline," Eira scolded.

    "Fine," Caroline sighed. "Damon and Stefan found more white oak. We're planning to kill one of the Originals because they're all linked."

   "What? No," Eira shook her head and she started to head for the door when Elena and Stefan walked into the room.

    She looked at Stefan,"What did you do?"

    Stefan looked at Caroline,"You told her."

    "I'm a terrible liar," Caroline replied.

     "We killed Finn," Stefan answered.

     Tears gathered in her eyes and Eira was about to speak when Elena got a phone call. Elena answered it.

    "Bonnie. Where have you been?" Elena questioned into the phone.

     Eira couldn't hear what Bonnie was saying she just heard Elena,"Klaus should be dead. They should all be dead, we just killed Finn."

    Eira breathed a sigh of relief at Elena's words. That meant Klaus wasn't dead and they were all unlinked. She was still upset that Stefan was going to kill him.

     After the phone call, Stefan immediately left the room and Eira followed him. He was acting out and she didn't want him to kill Klaus.

     "Stay with Caroline and Elena," Stefan ordered Eira as he walked.

    "Stefan, stop it! I don't want him dead, Stefan and he would kill you," Eira pleaded. "I can't... I don't know what I would do without you... or him."

    Stefan's heart broke at those words and he turned around, looking at her,"Klaus hurt you. He does not get to survive after doing that."

    Stefan left her and he slammed the front door behind him. She flinched and tears gathered in her eyes.

   Caroline and Elena walked into the hall and Caroline spoke,"I miss well-adjusted Stefan."

    All of the sudden the front door flew open and Stefan came flying threw and he landed on the ground in the living room. Sage walked through,"Ding dong."

   Caroline went to go after her but Sage threw her backwards and Caroline landed on the ground. Elena and Eira stood there in shock.

    "I'm not here for you," Sage spoke to Caroline and looked at Stefan. "I'm here for him."

    Sage took a step towards her brother and Eira's fear for him went into overdrive. The wind picked and blew at Sage, throwing her across the room and into the wall, making it crack.

    Eira ran to Stefan and helped him up. Sage vamp sped to them and she grabbed Eira by her throat, holding her up off the ground. Before Stefan could do anything, Sage dropped Eira and Sage started coughing.

     Sage coughed up blood and blood leaked out of her nose. Sage fell to the ground in a coughing fit. Eira got to her feet as she did so. Sage called for the other vampire's help, Troy. He stood outside the house as he couldn't get in and he started coughing as well. He fell to the ground and they both desiccated. They died.

    They stayed staring at their bodies trying to figure out how the two vampires died.

   "So, Sage and this Troy guy die within an hour of Finn," Caroline stated.

    "But why? Were they bitten by a hybrid or..?" Elena questioned.

    "Hybrid bites don't look like that. Maybe Sage was so in love with Finn she just died of sadness," Caroline suggested.

    "No, that doesn't explain Troy," Elena stated.

    "It's the blood. The bloodline. It has to be. Think about it: Finn turned Sage, Sage turned Troy. They're all part of the same vampire bloodline that originated with Finn," Stefan realized.

    "Wait, so when an Original dies every vampire turned from their bloodline dies along with them? Because that would mean...," Caroline trailed off.

    "If the Originals die, so do all of you. The entire vampire species would...it'd just be dead," Elena revealed.

    After that, Stefan went to trade in the stakes for Damon. He wasn't going to kill Klaus if that made him die as well. Caroline went and disposed of the vampire bodies. Elena and Eira cleaned up the mess in the living room.

     Stefan was in Klaus's mansion and he walked into the room where Damon was. Stefan's eyes glistened in sadness as he saw Damon's tortured body covered with blood.

    "Klaus! I'm here! Let's do this," Stefan shouted.

   Klaus and Rebekah walk into the room and Klaus's eyes searched the room for Eira. He was hoping to see her even if he didn't deserve it.

    "Oh good, a hero. What do you want?" Klaus asked.

   Stefan dropped the bag of stakes at Klaus's feet,"I'm here to make a deal."

   "Stefan, what are you doing?" Damon questioned, weakly but Stefan ignored him.

    "Eight stakes made of white oak. The part of Wickery Bridge that you forgot to burn," Stefan stated.

   Klaus looked at Rebekah and she said,"That's impossible."

   "Actually it's not. Finn is dead," Stefan said.

    "You killed my brother?" Rebekah asked in anger.

  "Damon in exchange for the last eight weapons that can kill you," Stefan ignored Rebekah and looked at Klaus.

    "And how do I know there aren't any more left?" Klaus questioned.

   "Because they're aren't," Stefan lied.

    "Let's be certain, shall we?" Klaus said and walked in front of Damon, making sure to avoid the puddle of blood.

    "Leave," Klaus said to Damon.

    "No," Damon denied.

     "Go on. Leave," Klaus stated.

    "Nik he's my plaything. Not yours," Rebekah stated.

    Klaus grabbed Damon by the throat and made Damon look at him. Klaus compelled him,"I said, go home."

    Klaus let go of Damon and he started to pull a wrist out of the snares, peeling the skin off in the process and he screamed in pain.

    "Alright, stop, stop, stop, before you hurt yourself. Well, seeing that he can finally be compelled. Now," Klaus made him stop and then he compelled him again. "Minus the stake that's in my brother, how many more stakes are out there that can kill me?"

   "Eleven," Damon stated.

    "Eleven! Really? So, not eight then," Klaus looked at Stefan.

    "You really shouldn't have lied," Rebekah stated.

    "I'll get you the other three," Stefan said.

    "Yeah, that'll be nice. Or since you lied, maybe I'll just pay Eira a visit, see how quickly she'll come running back to me," Klaus said.

    Stefan looked up in anger,"What is wrong with you?"

    "What is wrong with you?! Do you really have no appreciation for me? I have given you someone to hate, to loathe, a target for all of your anger; so you don't have to turn it on yourself. I have given your life purpose, as your friend," Klaus walked towards Stefan and Klaus laughed. "I really think you should be thanking me."

   Stefan vamp sped and pinned Klaus against the wall, holding one of the white oak stakes, getting ready to plunge it in his heart. Klaus had a hold of his wrist, keeping him from doing so.

   "Step down, or you both die," Klaus stated.

    "It'd be worth it because you hurt her," Stefan said and then he let go of the stake, letting Klaus grab it. "But even now she still wants you alive."

    Klaus's face became emotionless as he talked about Eira. He didn't want to reveal any of his emotions.

   "There. Now you only have to get me the other two," Klaus stated.

    "This is ridiculous," Rebekah said, walking towards Damon and she released him.

    "I brought him here. I get to release him. My rules now. Bring us the stakes and you both live. Take your brother as a sign of good faith," Rebekah grabbed the bag of stakes and left the room to burn them.

   "Bring us the stakes. All of them. Or I will wage a war against everyone you love. I hope I'm being clear," Klaus threatened Stefan and then he left the room.

    After the Salvatore's left, Klaus and Rebekah were in another room where a fireplace was. They had burned the stakes and Rebekah was in thought.

   "I can't believe Finn is dead," Rebekah spoke.

    "Good riddance. He was an embarrassment, Rebekah," Klaus said.

    "He was still your brother. Mind your tongue," Rebekah scolded.

   "Fine. Let's all say a prayer for Finn, who slept in a box longer than he lived as a man. He was a lovesick fool. He's better off in death," Klaus stated.

   Rebekah walked over to Klaus,"You're one to talk. You're in love with Eira. You'd do anything for her."

   "Eira doesn't mean anything to me anymore," Klaus lied.

    "Is this how you would speak of me if I died?" Rebekah questioned.

    "Well, you let the Salvatores loose with two stakes that can kill us, so I guess we'll find out soon enough. And since when did you have a soft spot for them?" Klaus asked.

    "The Salvatores may fight like dogs, but in the end they would die for each other. At least they know what family means. You destroyed ours," Rebekah stated.

   "I wanted a family. They just didn't want me, and now we're unlinked we're no longer responsible for each other," Klaus said.

    "So are you leaving?" Rebekah questioned.

    "As soon as I get my stakes. I'm gone," Klaus said, needing to be far away from Eira.

   "And if I choose to stay?" Rebekah asked.

    "Then your just as pathetic as Finn," Klaus said to her, covering up his sadness with anger.

       Caroline and Elena had gone home and Damon went to get the last stake from Alaric. Eira walked into the Stefan's room and he was sitting on his bed holding a stake.

   Eira crossed her arms,"You haven't said much since you've been back."

    "I'll be a ball of sunshine once Damon gets Alaric's stake back. Promise," Stefan said.

   "You scared me today. You were going to go up against Klaus on your own, Stef...," Eira got cut off.

   "You don't have to worry about that anymore," Stefan said.

    "Why?" Eira asked. "You've been after Klaus for so long now."

    Stefan stood up and walked over to Eira. He put his hands on the side of her face and made her look him in the eye,"Because you love Klaus."

   "W-What?" Eira stammered out.

    Eira didn't really know what to say. She had never considered that her care for Klaus was love. She didn't know what love was but as she thought about it, if there was love, it'd be what she felt for Klaus.

    He smiled sadly at her,"Everything you've told me and how you act. 'You can't be without him, he makes you happy'. The way your so heartbroken. That's all love, Eira."

   Stefan took his hands away from her face and he continued,"It's okay to feel something for him. I mean, I practically pushed you to it. It's my fault. It's all my fault."

    "Wait, what? It's not your fault, Stef," Eira disagreed.

   "It is. All the time I spent trying to kill Klaus, I ignored you. I pushed you to him. And now you love him," Stefan explained.

    Eira opened her mouth to say something but no words came out. She wanted to make Stefan feel better. Say that it wasn't true, but it was. She cared for Klaus as much as she cared for Stefan. She loved Klaus.

   "You can admit it, Eira," Stefan said. "You don't have to be afraid. You can say it. He's your first love and I would never take that away from you even if it is...him."

     Tears built up in her eyes that she loved a man who wasn't with her anymore. It was a sad truth. She looked at Stefan and she took a breath.

   "I'm in love with Klaus."

   Author's Note: Okay, I'm gonna be updating a lot today. I want to finish season three because it's gonna be epic.
