AN: I'm skipping episode 19 because Eira wouldn't have a place in that episode like at all.

    
     Elena undaggered Elijah and her brothers were worrying about her all day. Damon and Rose took Eira to see Katherine because he needed her to give Katherine vervain since he wasn't invited in to Alaric's apartment. Alaric-Klaus had threatened Jenna and she found out about the supernatural world. Elijah agreed to help Elena on the condition that he gets an apology from each of the Salvatore's. Eira invited Elijah into the house and apologized and told him that she didn't know about the plot of his death. Stefan apologized and said he was protecting Elena. Damon gave an sarcastic apology that he didn't really mean, but at least he gave one. Elijah had supposedly found a way to save the life of the doppelgänger. It was the next morning and they were going over the plan to stop Klaus.

    "Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse," Elijah stated.

    "Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus," Stefan wanted to clarify.

    "Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it...He'll be a true hybrid," Elijah explained.

    Damon walks in the room with Rose,"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie."

    "Damon....," Stefan scolded.

    "No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying," Elena denied.

      "I'll write her a great eulogy," Damon stated.

    "It's not an option, Damon," Elena said.

    "All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan questioned.

    "Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know," Elijah said.

   "The moonstone," Stefan answered.

    "A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each," Elijah explained.

   "And where do I fit into it?" Elena questioned.

    "The final part of the ritual," Elijah stated and grabbed a box from the shelf. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger...to the point of your death."

    Elena takes a deep breath, taking in that information,"And that's where you come in?"

    Elijah opens the box and takes a jar from it,"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation."

    "So I'll be dead?" Elena stated.

     "And then you won't," Elijah answered.

     "That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" Damon said then looked at Elena. "You want to come back to life, what about John's ring?"

    "Those rings only work on humans. The doppelgänger's a supernatural occurrence. Odds are, the ring won't work," Elijah explained.

    "I'll take those odds over your elixir. What if it doesn't work, Elena?" Damon questioned.

    "Then I guess I'll just be dead," Elena answers.

    Eira thought Elena was being somewhat selfish. She had all these people caring for her and she didn't seem to care if she died. Damon leaves, aggravated with Elena.

    "Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?" Elena questions Elijah.

   "Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will."

   A commotion goes on and everyone hears Jenna yelling. They all go see what the big commotion is about. When Eira walked onto the scene, Jenna was holding a crossbow to Alaric.

     "What's going on?" Elena questioned.

    "It's me, Elena, I swear, okay? He let me go. Klaus let me go." Alaric said.

    "Prove it," Damon said.

    Alaric looks at Jenna,"Okay, uh, first night you and I spent together, Jeremy walked in right when I was about to..."

   "Okay, it's him," Jenna interrupted and lowered the crossbow.

    "Why did he let you go?" Stefan questioned.

      "He wanted me to deliver a message. The sacrifice happens tonight."

     They all went back to the living room except Damon to talk about what happened when Alaric was possessed by Klaus.

   "So you don't remember anything that happened?" Stefan questioned.

    "No. It's like I blacked out and woke up three days later. Katherine was there," Alaric answered.

    "She's under compulsion. Damon snuck her some vervain, but she can't leave until Klaus tells her she can," Stefan explained.

    "Where is Damon?" Elena asked.

     "He went upstairs," Rose answered. Elena gets up and leaves to go check on Damon.

   "So what else did I do?" Alaric questioned.

     "You threatened Jenna," Eira answered.

      "I what?" Alaric questioned, shocked and he mouthed 'I'm sorry' to Jenna.

    Stefan and Rose clearly heard something with their vampire hearing and vamp sped upstairs. Shouts and crashes could be heard upstairs. Jenna and Alaric ran up the stairs to go check it out. Eira just got up slowly and went to check it out.

    Eira got up the stairs and found Elena with blood on her face and Damon had a guilty expression on his face. Stefan was comforting Elena. So, Eira put together that Damon fed Elena his blood. Damon left the room and Eira figured someone had to comfort Damon so she followed him.

    When she got downstairs, Elijah was leaving. Damon put down his alcoholic drink and he put on his jacket, getting ready to leave.

    "I'll go with you," Eira said. "You need someone."

     "Fine," he sighed out annoyed and Eira smiled.

   Damon took them to The Grill. He sat down at the bar and Eira sat next to him. Damon ordered a drink as two other people sat next to him, Alaric and Rose. 

    "I'll have the same," Alaric told the bartender.

     "I screwed up," Damon stated.

     "Yeah. Yeah, you did," Alaric agreed and Eira just nodded.

"Gentlemen and ladies. Why so glum?" Eira heard a beautiful British voice from next to her and her head turned towards it. She saw him. He had curly hair that was blonde but darkening into brown, a dirty blonde and he had pink kissable lips. But what she was drawn to were his eyes that had flashed slightly yellow around the pupil but then quickly went away.

"Klaus, I'm guessing," she barely heard from Damon, too entranced with his eyes.

They were a cloudy dark blue. A mixture between the sea when it storms and the dark midnight blue sky. His eyes were beautiful.

She was so entranced by his eyes that she couldn't look away. She thought it would be a sin if she did. She didn't hear any conversation going on around her until those beautiful eyes flickered down towards her.

He smirked as if he knew she was staring at him. But she wasn't ashamed or embarrassed. He reached his hand out towards her face and his fingers grazed her cheek, slowly trailing down.

Her lips parted and her breathing came out shakily. He made her nervous but in a scary good way.

"I hope to see you again, Eira." Her name was just a whisper from his lips as if he were tasting it for the first time.

His fingers left her cheek and he left just as quickly as he came and she was left with an erratic heartbeat and uncontrolled breathing. And she had a brother sitting next to her that watched the whole thing.

"What was that?" Damon demanded.

"I..I don't know," she swallowed.

"Did you have to stare?" He said annoyed.

"He had pretty eyes," she smiled.

Damon shook his head at her and Alaric asked, talking about the ritual,"You're going to screw it up, aren't you?"

"You think if I took his werewolf out of the equation, she might...Get over the fact that I tried to turn her into a vampire?" Damon questioned.

"You'll be dead, Damon. It won't matter," Rose said.

"But without the werewolf, he can't perform the ritual tonight, which means I would have bought her one month before the next full moon," Damon said.

"And you'll still be dead," Alaric stated.

"Are you gonna help me or what?" Damon looked at Alaric.

Alaric sighed,"What do you want me to do?"

Damon went to leave but he stopped and looked at Rose. "Take her home," Damon looked at Eira. "Look after her until this Klaus thing blows over."

Rose nodded and Eira said,"Wait, Damon."

Damon turned and looked at her as Eira continued,"Don't get yourself killed, please. I don't know what I would do if you died."

Eira hugged him goodbye and Damon hugged her back,"I won't die. I promise."

Damon let go of her and then he left with Alaric. Rose looked at her and said,"Let's get you home."

Rose vamp sped Eira home. The only person that was there was Jenna. Stefan had left with Elena to talk to her about vampirism. So, Eira lounged on the couch reading a book. She was reading Call of the Wild by Jack London.

She was reading until Jenna asked,"How do you do it?"

"What?" Eira stopped reading and listened.

"I mean, how do you deal with all this, this supernatural stuff?" Jenna asked.

"My brothers are vampires," Eira started. "It's kind of required. Plus, I'm a supernatural human so...."

It had been awhile and nothing happened until Jenna got an alarming phone call and Eira got a bad feeling. "Elena! I'll be right there."

"Jenna! Wait!" Eira shouted.

"Elena needs me. She's in danger," Jenna explained and headed to the front door.

Eira wondered why Elena would call Jenna for help. Elena wouldn't want to involve her aunt. She would want to protect her. Eira's eyes widened as she realized it was a trap.

"Jenna! No!" Eira shouted and she ran to the front door.

Rose vamp sped to the front door and went outside to save Jenna and Eira could hear a snapping sound. Eira got to the front door and she saw Rose on the ground with her neck snapped. Klaus had a hold of Jenna.

Eira took a deep breath and stepped outside,"Please let them go. Don't hurt them. I'll do whatever you want just let Rose and Jenna go."

Klaus let go of Jenna and stepped in front of Eira,"Now, why would I do that?"

Eira was once again entranced by his blue eyes,"Because you want to break your curse. And if you want something, that means you care. That means you're not a monster. So, I'm just going to hope you care."

Klaus looked into her green eyes and it was hard for him to say he wasn't moved by her speech. "I don't care," Klaus started. "But since you'll do whatever I want... I'll go along."

"Jenna, sweetheart, why don't you go inside," Klaus stated.

Jenna hesitated but Eira gave her a nod and she went inside the house. "What about Rose?"

"There's only one of you, love, so you only save one of them," Klaus answered and Eira's eyes flashed with fury.

"What do you want from me?" Eira questioned.

"What do I want from you," he pondered as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. He tilted her chin up to look at him,"I want you to come with me, love, when the ritual is over and I leave here."

Eira took an intake of breath before saying,"Okay."

"You'll come with me willingly?" Klaus questioned, confused.

"I don't break promises. We made a deal. You spared Jenna and I would do whatever you wanted," Eira stated.

"If you were to go against me...," Klaus started, feeling paranoid.

Eira grabbed his hand and held it, a gesture he hadn't experienced in a long time,"I won't. You can trust me."

Klaus looked into her green eyes and he found them sincere. He didn't want to look away from her hypnotizing eyes but he pulled his hand away from hers, finding that he missed holding her hand.

"I'll see you soon, Eira," Klaus said and then he was gone along with Rose.

Eira went back inside the house and Jenna immediately came up to her. "Why would you do that for me?"

"Because it's the nice thing to do," Eira answered.

"What happened? What do you have to do?" Jenna asked.

"He took Rose and I have to leave Mystic Falls with him when he leaves," Eira answered.

Alaric came back to the house and he greeted Jenna and Eira. Stefan soon came in the house without Elena because Klaus took her and Eira walked up to him, fumbling nervously with her hands.

    "What happened?" Stefan questioned.

     "Klaus came. He tried to take Jenna and Rose but he gave Jenna back. He took Rose, Stef," Eira explained.

    "Damon's gonna be devastated," Stefan said before realizing something. "Wait, why did Klaus give Jenna back?"

    "I told him I would do whatever he wanted," Eira replied vaguely.

    "What did you tell him you would do?" Stefan questioned.

    "I have to leave Mystic Falls with him," Eira said and Stefan's heart sunk with those eight words.

   Author's Note: So, yeah that was this chapter. If you couldn't tell, Rose is the vampire being sacrificed instead of Jenna. I know, I'm evil, save a character just to kill her.
