AN: That is Eira's sixties dress.

It was morning and Eira was signing the deed to the house. Elena was with her and she had invited Bonnie over. The lawyer was there directing Eira on what to do.

"Please sign here and here," the lawyer directed.

The lawyer handed her a pen and she took it and signed where the lawyer told her to sign. The house was officially in her name. Eira was giddy about it and smiled.

"So, if you own this house, then Elena will be safe?" Bonnie questioned Eira.

Eira nodded,"Only I can invite people in meaning only a certain type of people can get in without an invitation."

"So it's the perfect safe house," Bonnie nodded.

Eira hummed agreeing and Bonnie stated,"Wouldn't want to clean it."

Eira and Elena laughed. Eira finished signing the deed and she showed the lawyer to the door with Elena following behind her. Eira opened the door for him and she shook his hand.

"Thank you, Mr. Henry," Eira smiled and the lawyer left.

Damon, Stefan, and Rose were waiting outside to be invited in. They walked to the entrance of the door and they waited to be invited in.

"Rose, you can come in," Eira invited.

Rose walked through the door and Eira smiled, teasingly at her brothers.

"No, I know that look. Eira, come on, let us in," Stefan scolded.

"And what do I get if I do?" Eira questioned, teasing.

"Our undying sibling love," Stefan answered and Eira smiled.

"Both of you can come in," Eira invited and Stefan and Damon walked through the door.

They went into the living room. Bonnie came out and handed Elena her bag. The brothers noticed.

"Wait, where are you going?" Stefan questioned.

"To school," Elena answered.

"Huh?" Stefan questioned, flabbergasted.

"No, no, no. We didn't create a safe house for you to leave it," Damon stated.

"It's not safe out there, Elena," Rose backed Damon up.

"Yeah, guys, Klaus is out there. We know that," Stefan said.

"Right. But where? No one knows. Look, I really appreciate what you guys are doing. And I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that I'll be safe here, but I'm not going to be a prisoner," Elena explained.

Eira thought Elena was being stupid. She was putting herself in harm's way. Eira didn't like it at all because when Elena was in danger, her brothers got caught up in it trying to protect her.

Elena looks at Damon and he said,"Your way, Elena."

"Don't worry, I'm ready. If he shows his face, I can take him. I know how," Bonnie stated.

"The way I see it, next to Bonnie is the safest place that I can be," Elena explained and then looked at Bonnie. "Come on."

Damon signaled for Stefan to go school with them and Stefan looked at Eira,"We're going to school today."

Eira groaned and called out,"Nice going, Elena."

Eira walked to the door and Stefan threw his arm around her shoulders. Stefan smiled at her,"Would you like to learn how to drive a car today?"

Eira beamed. "Yes!" Eira said and dragged him to the garage."Let's go, Stef."

Stefan chuckled and he gave her the keys. Eira got in the driver side while Stefan got in the passenger side. Stefan explained to her how to drive a car.

Eira slammed the brake to get the car to stop in the parking spot and put the car in park. Eira was very touchy with the brake, she ran a stop sign, and she swerved at each turn she was making.

"So how did I do?" Eira questioned.

Stefan scratched his head,"We'll, um, work on it."

They got out of the car and Stefan saw that Eira parked crooked in the parking spot and he shook his head. She had horrible driving skills when it came to a car.

They walked to the school to together and Eira spoke,"I have to go to my locker. I'll meet you in class."

"Uh, okay," Stefan hesitated but he went off to class.

Eira went through the hallways to her locker. The hallways were mostly empty because class was about to start. Eira rounded a corner and she ran right into a brick wall.

Eira fell to the ground and looked up. The brick wall she ran into was Alaric. Alaric seemed to be star struck. He snapped out of it and offered her his hand to help her up.

Eira took it and he lifted her up, but she stumbled a bit and she involuntarily became closer to him much to Alaric-Klaus's delight.

"I'm sorry, Ric. I wasn't watching where I was going and I...," Eira rambled but was cut off.

Katherine told Klaus very little about the Salvatore girl. But he knew she had white hair and he was able to identify her. He never imagined her to be this beautiful.

Alaric-Klaus shushed her by putting a finger to her lips. "It's alright. If anything, I should be sorry for making you fall."

Eira's breath caught in her throat. He removed his finger away from her lips and Eira could breath again. Eira thought Alaric was acting very strange.

"Uh, okay," Eira answered. "I'll see you in class, Ric."

Eira scurried off and went to her locker to get her books for school. She hurried and went to her first period with Alaric. She was only a couple minutes late. Eira took her seat next to Stefan and listened to what Alaric was saying about history. The sixties was written on the board.

"The sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but...Actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the...we walked on the moon. There was Watergate," Alaric-Klaus talked.

"Watergate was the seventies, Ric," Elena said and the students looked at her. "I-I mean, Mr. Saltzman."

"Right. It all kind of mushes together up here, the sixties, seventies. Thank you, Elena," Alaric-Klaus said.

Alaric-Klaus gave them an assignment from the textbook since he didn't want to teach anybody and he didn't want anybody to realize he wasn't Alaric. He was watching the doppelgänger, but his eyes drifted to Eira.

The sunlight filtered in through the window, and he noticed most of the sun's rays were shining on her. It gave her wavy, white hair that framed around her face a shiny, golden aura. Her bright, green eyes sparkled in the sunlight. He was fascinated by her.

Eira got bored of the assignment and she looked outside the windows and created a mini tornado outside. She made a rose bush grow outside the windows. Her eyes were alight with joy and she smiled.

When class was over, she picked up all her belongings and was going to leave but Alaric-Klaus called her back. "Eira, stay after class."

Stefan waited but Eira nodded for him to go. He hesitated but he left and went to the next class that Eira also had with him.

"What do you need to talk about?" Eira questioned.

Alaric-Klaus pointed to the window where the rose bush was outside. Eira formed an 'oh' shape with her mouth and she bit her lip.

"Next time, make sure no one is looking," Alaric-Klaus stated.

"Yeah, okay," she agreed.

Eira went to her classes and now it was time for lunch. She saw Bonnie and Elena and sat down next to them. They greeted her and a girl Eira remembered from first period came over to them.

"Hey, Eira, there you are. Okay. This is going to sound freaky, but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight," the girl said and Eira's eyes bulged.

"W-W-What?" Eira stuttered, not sure what do about a boy. Elena and Bonnie chuckled at her scared expression.

"You can meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him. His name is Klaus," the girl said and all color drained from Eira's face.

"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" Elena asked.

"His name's Klaus. I know the name's stupid, but I swear he's hot," the girl stated.

Bonnie looks around them,"Where is he? Is he here?"

The girl got a confused look on her face,"I don't know."

"She's been compelled," Bonnie states.

"But he wants to know if you'll save him the last dance, Eira. How cute is that?" the girl continued and Eira was speechless.

They had all gone back to the Salvatore boarding house and they told the Salvatore brothers and Rose what happened. They were all discussing the matter.

"So we go to the dance, we find him," Damon stated.

"Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like," Stefan said.

"I agree. We need some kind of plan," Rose said.

"Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply," Damon said sarcastically.

"He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school," Stefan said and then looked at Elena and Bonnie. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?"

Someone knocks on the door and enters. Alaric-Klaus comes through the door and Damon comments,"There you are."

"Sorry, I'm late," Alaric-Klaus said.

"It's okay, Alaric," Eira smiled.

"Thank you, Eira," he smiled back.

"Hey, I need you to put me and Rose down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move," Damon said to Alaric.

"Okay, so we find him and then what, hmm? What's our plan of attack?" Elena questioned.

"Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him," Bonnie stated.

"That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest vampire around," Alaric-Klaus boasted.

"Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he...," Damon said and then vamp sped to Bonnie but she threw him across the room with her powers.

Eira laughed,"Can you do that again?"

"I'm glad you think that's so funny," Damon playfully glared at her.

"Well, I was impressed," Stefan said.

"It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Elena. I know I can," Bonnie said.

Elena and Eira dug around in the Salvatore families' boxes of sixties clothing. Eira found a dress she liked and she decided to wear it. The dress was yellow with white lace and it had a white ribbon that she tied around her waist. She put it on and the dress went to down to her mid-thigh. She put on white go-go boots. Eira went downstairs where Stefan, Rose, Damon and Elena were waiting.

"Sorry, if I made you wait," Eira apologized.

"It's fine, Eira," Stefan smiled and he held his arm out to her. Eira looped her arm through his. "You look beautiful. Very sixty-ish."

Eira smiled and bit her lip,"Thanks. You look dapper yourself, Stef."

Stefan chuckled and they left for the dance. Damon and Rose rode together while Stefan, Elena, and Eira went in another car. They arrived to the dance and met up with Bonnie and Jeremy.

Eira walked alongside Stefan as all of them entered the dance and Eira was holding his arm. The song playing as they entered was Dedicated to the One I Love by The Mamas and Papas which she loved. A girl started speaking into the microphone on stage, speaking to the audience.

"Thanks for being here everybody," the girl said and everyone applauded as their group kept walking into the dance. "We have a special shoutout tonight. This is for Eira. From Klaus." The girl continued to speak as they all made it to the middle of the dance floor.

Eira looked like a deer caught in the headlights when she heard her name. She couldn't figure out why Klaus would want anything to do with her. She had to admit, though, that he had good taste in music and she let out a small smile that he dedicated a song to her. But, as soon as her brothers looked at her she stopped smiling.

"That was a lame cheap shot," Damon spoke up. "He's just trying to bait us."

"I know everyone here," Elena stated.

"Maybe he's not here. He just wants us to believe that he is," Stefan inputted.

"What does he want with me, though?" Eira questioned.

Stefan and Damon looked at her, then shared a look with each other, deciding how to explain it. Damon was the one that spoke up, though. "He just likes your inheritance of genes."

Eira was still confused, though. She didn't know what genes were, that wasn't a word in 1864. But, she decided not to speak up. She would figure it out later.

"It's a party, people. Blend. Let him come to us," Damon said.

"Good idea," Bonnie stated and pulled Jeremy away to which he protested. "No, no. I really don't feel like dancing."

"Too bad," Bonnie told him. Eira thought they were cute.

"There's Ric. I'll be back," Damon started walking away with Rose, but Eira followed him. Eira was smiling the whole walk over to Alaric because one of her favorite songs was playing: Last Kiss by J. Frank Wilson and The Cavaliers.

Once they reached Alaric-Klaus, he spoke up, "Special dedication, huh? This guy's a little twisted."

"I'm not impressed," Damon stated distastefully.

"No?" Alaric asked like he was surprised.

"Let me know if you see anything out of whack," Damon walked away with Rose, but Eira, still smiling as she heard the song, decided to stay with Alaric.

"Why are you smiling?" Alaric questioned and he noticed that he thought her smile was wonderful.

"I love this song," she smiled even wider.

"You love this sad song?" Alaric-Klaus asked.

"We need sad songs.... to remind us that not everything is happy," she said in a small voice which made Alaric-Klaus stare at her in wonder.

"You always seem happy," he stated.

"There's a lot to smile about," she stated, looking up at him with those pretty green eyes that shined with all the light that hit them.

"Your even more beautiful when you smile, love," he was so entranced with her eyes, he didn't even notice his slip up and she didn't either because she was blushing at the compliment. He loved that he made her blush. He could do it all day. But, then he reminded himself of why he was here. The doppelgänger.

He sighed and forced himself to look away from her eyes. "I have to go," he said which made her frown. He couldn't stand not seeing a smile on her beautiful face and so he walked away from her, quickly and focused on the next part of the plan to break his curse: Provoking Bonnie Bennett and making her channel so much power that it would kill her.

Eira walked through the dance crowd and she found her brothers arguing because Damon knew that Bonnie would die if she killed Klaus. Eira went with Stefan, Damon, and Rose and they found Jeremy being cornered by these boys.

"Hey idiots!" Damon shouts.

One of the boys pull a crossbow out and shoots Damon with a wooden stake. The rest of them follow suit and pull out a crossbow.

"Let me guess....Klaus says hi?" Damon stated.

Stefan and Rose vamp sped and knocked two of the boys unconscious. Damon took the stake out and vamp sped to one boy and was about to kill him.

"No, no, no, no, don't kill him. He's compelled," Stefan said.

"So?" Damon questioned.

"So, the whole thing's a distraction. Go find Bonnie and Elena. I got this. Go," Stefan said.

Damon threw the boy into the lockers, knocking him out. Then Damon and Rose left to find Bonnie and Elena. Stefan took care of the boys and Jeremy.

Then Stefan and Eira went to find Elena. They found her in the dance and she took them to where Klaus was who was possessing Alaric's body. They ran through the hallways.

They ran into Damon and they stopped. "What are you doing? Where Bonnie?" Elena questioned.

"She's doing what she has to do," Damon explained, vaguely.

"What?" Elena questioned.

"Where is she?" Stefan demanded.

"Stefan, let her do this," Damon said.

"Damn it, Damon. Where is she?" Stefan demanded.

Stefan, Eira, and Elena ran through the halls, looking for Bonnie. They found her in the cafeteria taking on Alaric-Klaus.

"Bonnie, no!" Elena screamed.

Bonnie used her powers and shut the doors to the cafeteria so they couldn't get in. Stefan and Elena banged on the doors, trying to get them open but it was no use.

Sparks were flying in the cafeteria as the lights all exploded. Bonnie looked at Elena one last time before she fell to the ground indicating her death.

Elena screamed and the doors could finally be opened. Stefan and Elena ran through them and Elena kneeled down next to Bonnie. Eira just slowly walked to her, in shock.

"Bonnie! Bonnie, Bonnie! Bonnie! Hey, hey," Elena tried to get her awake. "Stefan, she's not breathing!"

Elena starts to cry,"Stefan! Stefan, I can't find her pulse! Stefan! Do something, please! Stefan, please! Just give her blood, do something, please!"

"It's too late. I'm sorry," Stefan apologized, sincerely.

"No! No. No, no, no, no, no! Bonnie! Bonnie, please, no! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Elena refused to believe.

Tears came to Eira's eyes at how heartbreaking this moment was but she didn't cry. Damon and Rose walked in and he said,"Stefan, get Elena out of here. I'll deal with the body."

"What do you mean, deal with it?" Elena questioned.

"The sheriff can't know about this. Last thing we need's another mysterious death," Damon explained.

"This is Bonnie!" Elena cried.

"Get her home. Now. So I can clean this up," Damon demanded of Stefan.

Stefan got Elena up from the floor and she kept crying in his arms. "No. Jeremy. Oh, my God, Jeremy. What about Jeremy?"

"I'll find him," Damon promised.

Stefan got her out of the room and Eira followed, looking at Bonnie's body in sadness. Stefan got the both of them back to Salvatore house.

Elena was sitting in a chair with a blanket wrapped around her. She had silent tears falling down her face. Eira's heart broke for the girl.

Stefan brought some tea for Elena to drink. She accepted it but she couldn't even drink it because she started sobbing again.

"This is my fault," Elena said.

"No, no, no, no, no. No. Hey. This was Klaus. Listen to me. Klaus did this," Stefan comforted as a friend.

Damon and Rose walked in and Elena said,"What did you do with her?"

"Can you please calm her down?" Damon said to Stefan.

Elena stood up and walked over to Damon,"Don't talk like I'm not standing right in front of you."

"Please calm down," Damon said to Elena.

"You knew! Didn't you? You knew that if she harnessed all that power, that she would die, didn't you?" Elena questioned Damon in anger.

"Yes. Yes, I knew," Damon answered and Elena slapped him. Eira gritted her teeth at Elena.

"You need to listen to me, and prepare for what I'm about to say. Bonnie had to die. Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise. She wasn't prepared for that. And he wasn't going to stop, and we weren't going to be able to stop him until he knew she was dead. He had to believe it," Damon explained. "She cast a spell. Bonnie's okay."

Eira went upstairs after she found out Bonnie was alive. Eira took off her sixties attire and put on sleep wear. She got into bed and her thoughts drifted to how Klaus was in Alaric's body. She didn't quite know what to think about him, but she was sure she would figure it out.

P.S. I looked up the word 'gene' and it wasn't introduced as a word until 1909 so that's why Eira doesn't know what genes are.
