Early the next morning, Damon got a call from Elena telling him that Isobel showed up at her doorstep. Damon called Alaric to let him know that his wife showed up on his girlfriend's doorstep. Damon sent Stefan to check on Elena while he and Rose went to go help Bonnie find the spell to kill Klaus at the Martins apartment.

Eira stayed at home with Katherine and she was putting on her jacket, getting ready to leave. "Where are you going?"

"Isobel is in town. I'm paying her a visit," Katherine explained.

"Why?" Eira asked.

"I'm using Isobel so she can negotiate my freedom with Klaus. I'm seeing what she's accomplished," Katherine said.

Eira had woken up with a bad feeling and whenever she had one of those feelings, something bad always happened. "Well, be careful. I have a bad feeling."

"I will be," Katherine said. "I'll see you when I get back."

Elena, Damon, Rose, and Stefan had all come back to the Salvatore boarding house and they were discussing Isobel and the information that she told Elena. Eira was sitting on the couch, listening.

"Do you really think that Isobel's telling the truth that word's gotten out about the doppelgänger?" Elena asked.

"Look, I don't trust a word that she says, but I think we'd be stupid to ignore the warning," Stefan said.

"You know, you should just stay here. It's better for us to keep an eye on you," Damon stated to Elena.

"What, in the house that any vampire can enter? No. Her house is safer," Stefan disagreed.

"Well, then we'll stay there," Damon said.

"So is that the plan? Neither of you will let me out of your sight again?" Elena asked, annoyed.

"At least you'll safe, Elena," Rose inputted.

"Fine. Then one of you bodyguards is gonna have to come with me to the Lockwood luncheon," Elena stated and looked at Damon, wanting him to come with her.

"Not me. I have witch stuff to attend to with Bonnie," Damon said.

"Fine, I'll go," Stefan offered.

Damon put a finger to his lips,"Shh."

"Don't get quiet on my account. If you have a plan to combat the impending vampire doom, please do tell," Katherine called, indicating she was back.

Damon and Stefan gave Eira a look to be quiet and she felt pressured so she listened and kept quiet.

"Seriously, what is the plan to get us out of this mess, hmm? I delivered you a moonstone, a werewolf, and the dagger to lure and kill Klaus, and right now all you have is a moonstone. Or so you tell me," Katherine said.

"No, we have it," Damon said.

"Where is it?" Katherine asked.

"It's in a very safe place," Damon answered.

"I've been honest with you. Time to return the favor," Katherine said.

"Let me be honest with you. Don't mistake the fact that we haven't set you on fire in your sleep for trust," Damon smirked.

"Eira trusts me," Katherine said.

"She doesn't count," Damon replied.

"Fine, be that way," Katherine said and walked away.

Stefan and Elena went to the Lockwood luncheon while Eira went with Damon and Rose to the spot that housed a hundred dead witches. They met up with Bonnie and Jeremy. They had to walk a little bit to get to spot that the witches were massacred.

"Is this the spot Emily Bennett was killed, too?" Jeremy asked as they walked.

"Founders thought it was poetic burning her where the other witches burned," Damon answered.

"How do you know where the witches were burned?" Bonnie questioned.

"'Cause I tried to save her. Emily was just my key to getting Katherine back before I knew what a nasty little bitch Katherine was," Damon said then looked at Eira. "Well, she's only bitch to everyone but Eira."

They were walking but they stopped when they saw an abandoned and run-down house that the witches were killed in.

"You sure it's the right place?" Jeremy asked.

Damon nods and they walk to the entrance of the house. They go inside and walk around. Eira could feel the witch spirits all around her, she felt like they were crowding around her. She could feel their power and it grew as each witch got closer to Eira.

Damon turns around and walks into a patch of sunlight shining through a window and he stops. He can't move and he looks at Bonnie.

"Whatever witchy prank you're playing, don't. It's not funny," Damon said to Bonnie.

"I'm not doing anything," Bonnie stated.

"I can't move," Damon said.

Eira could hear whispers from all around her as Damon started to burn from the sunlight. His daylight ring wasn't working.

"Stop," Eira commanded the witch spirits she felt and heard.

Damon stopped burning and he was able to move. Everyone looked at Eira, looking for an explanation.

"I don't know why they listened to me," Eira started. "They don't like vampires being here."

"I guess this is the right place," Jeremy said.

"I'm gonna go wait outside," Damon said and left while Eira and Rose followed him.

Damon, Rose, and Eira waited outside for awhile, but Damon got impatient. "Wanna hurry it up in there?" Damon called into the house.

Damon started to walk towards the entrance of the house but the door closed in Damon's face. Eira and Rose laughed and Damon playfully glared at them.

"Screw you too, Emily," Damon called. "You know, you're all on your own in there."

"Let's go," Damon grabbed Eira's hand took her with him to leave while Rose followed.

Liz called Damon and told him to come to Lockwood luncheon because there was a vampire problem. Rose and Eira waited outside while he dealt with the problem. Damon came back out, carrying John who was temporarily dead, but he had the magical ring on his finger that would bring him back to life. Damon placed him in the trunk and then drove to the Salvatore boarding house.

When they got inside, Damon just threw John down on the floor, not having any care for him at all which Eira understood. Damon had blood on his hands and he went to wash it off and that's when Stefan called him. Stefan informed him that Isobel took Elena and Katherine took the moonstone.

Damon and Stefan went to go find Isobel, hoping that's where Elena was while Rose stayed with Eira at home. Damon and Stefan didn't find her but Elena called saying that Isobel killed herself.

Damon and Stefan picked Elena up and brought her back to the Salvatore boarding house. She was sitting in a chair and she was holding a necklace. She was in shock that Isobel, her birth mother, died.

"Is that Isobel's?" Stefan questioned about the necklace.

"I never thought I would feel bad about her being dead, and yet...," Elena stated.

"She was your mother, Elena. You were bound to feel something," Rose stated and Stefan nodded.

"Why did they let me go?" Elena questioned.

"Well, anything John told Isobel, we have to assume that Klaus knows, right? So he knows that you're not gonna turn yourself into a vampire. He knows that you have us keeping you safe," Stefan explained.

"He knows I'm not gonna run," Elena said.

Damon walked in and said,"Which is why we need to take some precautions, 'cause we got played, all of us."

Damon takes a stack of papers and puts them on Eira's lap. Eira looks at them and asks,"What's this?"

"It's the deed to the house. It's in Zach's name. As soon as you sign it, it'll be in your name," Stefan explained.

"Oh," Eira answered.

"Isobel had the right idea with the safe house. You'll just stay here till it's all over. Eira can control who gets invited in and who doesn't. You'll be safe," Stefan said to Elena.

John suddenly gasps awake and Damon vamp speeds to him, holding him up by the collar of his shirt.

"I swear I had no idea what she was gonna do. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," John apologized.

"Damon, let him go," Elena demanded. "He and I need to talk."

Elena and John were left alone to have their father-daughter talk. Damon, Rose, Stefan, and Eira were in another room talking.

"Hey, Bonnie said the spell worked. She's locked and loaded," Damon said.

Stefan poured some alcohol,"At least something went right today. Katherine has no idea that Bonnie got her powers back."

"Uh-uh," Damon nodded.

"And Isobel had no idea what you, Eira, and Jeremy took Bonnie to do today," Stefan realized.

"Uh-uh," Damon nodded again and Stefan handed Damon and Rose a glass with alcohol.

"We're the only ones who know," Stefan stated.

Damon caught on to what he was saying,"That literally makes Bonnie our secret weapon."

Damon, Rose, and Stefan clink their glasses together before drinking them. Eira just felt left out.

"Are you ever going to let me drink alcohol?" Eira questioned.

"No," Damon and Stefan replied simultaneously.
