Eira woke up in the morning and went through her morning routine of taking a shower and getting dressed. She went downstairs and she found Stefan.

"Good morning, Stef," Eira greeted with a smile and Stefan gave her an odd look.

"You're never this happy in the morning," Stefan stated.

Eira paused in her step and thought,"Yeah, I'm not. But today I decided to be."

"And why is that?" Stefan questioned as she put Eggo waffles in the toaster.

"Well, Rose is still living, Damon isn't sad, and your well-being is intact, so life is good," Eira explained.

Stefan smiled at her ability to focus on happy things. She always seemed to look at the good that came out of a situation.

The Eggo waffles popped up out of the toaster, indicating that they were cooked. Eira happily put them on her plate and poured syrup onto them, practically drenching them.

"Eira, that's unhealthy," Stefan stated with a frown.

Eira looked at him with wide eyes,"But it's good."

Stefan shook his head at her and let her eat her breakfast in peace. After she finished, she asked a question,"So did you find Isobel yesterday?"

"No, but I found John," Stefan said.

"I don't like him," Eira furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm pretty sure no one does, Eira," Stefan stated.

Stefan was telling Damon and Rose how he brought John back to town. Eira was with Stefan just listening to the conversation.

"You brought back John Gilbert? That was your big "Save Elena" move?" Damon stated, incredulously.

"Who's John Gilbert?" Rose asked.

"Elena's father," Damon started. "He's a dick."

"Like you?" Rose teased.

"No, not like me," Damon playfully glared.

Stefan got them back to the conversation,"I went to go look for Isobel, and I get John instead. He said he can help us, and we're desperate."

"We're not that desperate, Stefan. The guy tried to barbecue me!" Damon stated.

"Damon, Bonnie's new witch friend is working with Elijah, so we have to assume that the moonstone was never destroyed . Elena is putting all of her faith into some deal that she made with Elijah to keep everyone safe. I mean, do you trust Elijah? I don't trust him. He's an Original, he can't be trusted. It's not like we can just go up and kill him, because apparently, he can't die!" Stefan explained.

"I'm still waiting for the part where John Gilbert is the answer," Damon said.

"He knew about the sacrifice, Isobel told him. He said he knew of a way to keep Elena safe," Stefan said.

"And how do we do that?" Damon asked.

"He's not talking. At least not to me anyway," Stefan stated.

"Great work Stefan. Top notch," Damon said sarcastically.

"At least he found a solution to save Elena," Rose stated.

Damon rolled his eyes,"Did it have to be John?"

"We get what we get, Damon," Eira lectured.

Damon nodded and he left, leaving all of them there. Rose couldn't go with him because she didn't have a daylight ring. Stefan got a text from Caroline about an emergency and he had to leave.

"I'm going to get you daylight ring," Eira said to Rose.

"You would do that for me?" Rose asked.

"Well, yeah. I don't like to see you cooped up in this house all day. You deserve better," Eira said.

"You're far too kind, Eira. But thank you," Rose said.

Eira left the Salvatore boarding house and she had called Bonnie asking her to meet her at The Grill. Eira had stolen the keys to the motorcycle in the garage and drove that to The Grill. Once she got there, she parked the motorcycle and walked to the entrance of The Grill.

She got inside and found Bonnie waiting at a table with Jeremy. Eira hurried over to her and sat down in front of her.

"Hey, what did you want to meet about?" Bonnie asked.

Eira bit her lip,"Can you make a daylight ring?"

"No," Bonnie immediately declined.

"Please, Bonnie. It's for Rose," Eira pleaded. "She's one of the good vampires. She hasn't been in the sun for more than 500 years. Can you imagine that?"

"Isn't that the vampire who took Elena?" Jeremy asked.

"She's good, okay," Eira was relentless.

Bonnie looked indifferent but she eventually caved,"You promise she won't hurt anyone."

"I promise," Eira stated, wholeheartedly.

"Do you have jewelry with lapis lazuli?" Bonnie asked.

"Yeah," Eira pulled a bracelet of her pocket and handed it to Bonnie.

Bonnie looked around the room to make sure no one was looking before doing the spell. The spell only took about a minute for Bonnie to do and she didn't even have to say anything in Latin. But Eira could feel the air around her charge with magic.

"Done," Bonnie handed it over to Eira.

"That's cool, how you can do magic in your head without saying the words," Eira smiled.

"Yeah, it is," Bonnie smiled back.

"Thank you so much, Bonnie," Eira thanked Bonnie as she got up and left.

Before Eira returned to the Salvatore boarding house, she made a stop. Eira went to visit Katherine, who was still locked in the tomb due to Elijah's compulsion. Eira had put blood bags in the motorcycle compartment and brought them with her.

She walked down into the tomb and walked through the entrance. Kat slowly walked out, looking a little sluggish.

"I brought you some blood bags," Eira stated and handed them to her.

She took them and gulped down the first one to get her strength back. She looked at Eira after she finished and said,"Did you sneak out again?"

"Well, yeah," Eira started. "But I did something before I came here. I got Rose a daylight bracelet."

"Rosemarie? She's still alive?" Katherine sighed.

"Yes and she's nice. I like her," Eira started. "Plus, she's Damon's best friend. Well, best friend that is a girl."

"As long as she's not your best friend," Katherine said. "I wouldn't want to be replaced."

"Why do you always think I'm going to replace you? I'm not," Eira said.

"I've spent 500 years alone," Katherine started. "It's easy to think people will abandon you."

"You don't have to worry about that, Kat. Not ever," Eira said. "Now, I have to go before my brothers find out I'm here."

Eira walked over to Kat and hugged her,"I'll be back in a few days."

Katherine rolled her eyes but hugged her back and then Eira pulled away. "I'll see you then," Eira said and then walked out of the tomb.

Eira got back to the Salvatore boarding house and found Rose. She walked over to her and pulled out the daylight bracelet.

"I told you I would get you one," Eira stated and handed the bracelet to her.

Rose took it and put it on. Rose looked at the window that had the curtains closed, she looked nervous and excited. Eira went over to the curtains and pulled them back, slightly.

"Just put your hand in the light," Eira suggested.

Rose walked over to the window without letting the sunlight hit her. She reached her hand out slowly until her fingers reached the light and she stopped.

"It's not burning," Rose stated miraculously.

Rose put her hand completely in the sun's light and turned her hand all around, feeling the sun's rays hit her hand for the first time in over five hundred years. Tears came to Rose's eyes as she was able to feel the sun.

Rose grabbed the curtains and completely opened them. She stood there basking in the sunlight as happy tears ran down her face.

"I never thought I'd feel the sunlight again," Rose stated. "I missed it so much."

Rose looked at Eira through her tears,"Thank you."

"You deserved it, Rose," Eira smiled.

"I didn't. But, thank you for believing that," Rose smiled back.

Rose was becoming re-accustomed to the sunlight and she went outside and explored the town, just enjoying being able to be outside during the day. Eira stayed at home but Stefan eventually came to her.

"Hey," Eira greeted.

"Hey," Stefan frowned.

"What happened?" Eira questioned.

"Caroline was taken today by the werewolves. She's fine, now, but I think she needs people to support her right now," Stefan explained.

Eira nodded with wide eyes. She hoped Caroline would be alright. "So I need your help," Stefan stated.

Eira immediately agreed,"Okay."

Stefan was planning to get Elena and Bonnie as well so Caroline wouldn't be alone after what she was put through. Eira, Elena, and Bonnie were going to stay with Caroline for the night or as the girls called it 'slumber party'.

Eira, Elena, and Bonnie were hiding on the side of the porch as Stefan knocked on Caroline's door. Caroline opened the door and said,"Hey. What's going on?"

"I was a bit worried about you, after everything you went through tonight," Stefan explained.

"I'm fine," Caroline stated.

"Good. But, just in case, I brought some back up," Stefan stated our cue to reveal ourselves.

Elena walked through the door first and said,"We're gonna slumber it."

"We haven't done it in ages," Bonnie said as she walked through the door.

"And I finally get to find out what a slumber party is," Eira smiled, softly.

Caroline started crying and they all hugged her. Caroline looked at Stefan through the hug and she smiled.

She mouthed,"Thank you."

Stefan mouthed,"You're welcome."

Then Stefan walked away and let the girls have their slumber night. Once all the girls stopped hugging Caroline after she stopped crying, Caroline stated,"We're watching The Notebook."

"What's The Notebook?" Eira questioned.

They all gasped and Caroline said,"We are so getting you accustomed to Ryan Gosling."

Eira seemed to be the group's little guinea pig as they made her watch a whole bunch of movies. At first they watched The Notebook and Eira found out who Ryan Gosling was. Then they watched Titanic and Eira cried horribly at the end along with the girls. To finish off their movie marathon, they watched Gone With the Wind.

Eira was now integrated into society according to Caroline. When they went to sleep, Eira took the floor because she figured that there was more room on the floor and she didn't have to squished by people that way.

Author's Note: Okay, Eira kind of did her own thing this episode. So, Rose would've went into the sunlight and she would've found Damon so she would've been with the Salvatore brothers when rescuing Caroline and Damon doesn't get with Andy because he has Rose.
