I'm skipping episode 2x03 because Eira doesn't really belong anywhere in it.

Stefan had been avoiding Elena like the plague since he found out she kissed Damon. Elena had went on a trip with Alaric and Damon to Duke University to find out more about the Lockwood's using Isobel's research. While they were away, Stefan helped Caroline learn control as a vampire. Eira wasn't allowed anywhere near Caroline because she was new and Eira's blood is way too appealing.

Stefan seemed to develop a friendship with Caroline and he actually liked teaching her how to be a vampire. Elena had tried to reach out to Stefan but to no avail. Instead she got closer with Damon when they went on the trip to Duke University. Although, Elena decided that she loved Stefan and she would do anything to get him back.

It was figured out that the Lockwood's are werewolves as Stefan and Caroline had an up close and personal encounter with Mason in wolf form. According to Isobel's research, werewolf bites are fatal to vampires and there was a sun and the moon curse. The curse made werewolves beholden to the moon, so they turned on a full moon and vampires beholden to the sun, so they only came out at night.

It was a week after all of this occurred and Stefan still did not talk to Elena which Eira thought was good for Stefan. She didn't think that Stefan needed Elena in his life.

Stefan had told her that he was making progress with Caroline in teaching her to be a vampire and she had better control now with her thirst for blood. So, Eira was deemed to be around Caroline again.

Eira was with Damon at The Mystic Grill where they were picking up a peach cobbler for the barbecue at the Gilberts' so that Jenna would like him better. Damon was bringing Eira along because people always seemed to like her and he was exploiting that to use for his advantage, hoping that since people liked her then they would like him by association.

Damon had spotted Elena which she grimaces at. Eira wasn't a very big fan of Elena's right now. But, of course, Damon liked her because Elena had kissed him.

Damon sat down next to her Elena and Eira took the seat across from her. Their sudden arrival startled Elena.

"Hey," Elena said to them, looking cautiously at Eira. "What do you want?"

"So this is where you spend your time when you're on the outs with Stefan?" Damon smirked.

"Don't bring that up," Elena demanded and Eira nodded her head, agreeing.

"Fine," Damon held his hands up in surrender.

"I'm doing homework," Elena answered Damon's question as to what she was doing at The Grill. "But, I have to go. Jenna's having a barbecue today."

"Ok, I'll see you there," Damon said to her as she was leaving.

"How do you know about Jenna's barbecue?" Elena asked.

"It was my idea. Jenna went to high school with Mason Lockwood so I figured a social gathering would be a good way to get to know the guy. So I told Ric to tell Jenna and...," Damon explained.

"Does Jenna know that you're going to be there because she's not exactly a fan of yours," Elena stated.

A waiter came and set a box down with the peach cobbler inside it. "Perfect. Thank you," Damon said to the waiter before talking to Elena. "I'm hoping this peach cobbler will pave the way. And, I'm hoping everyone's fondness for my little sister will extend to me."

"Which I don't like that you're using me for," Eira grumbled.

"You'll get over it," Damon stated.

"Well, I hope it works," Elena said nicely after their sibling banter. "But what are you up to?"

Damon got up and Eira followed. Damon spoke to Elena before they left,"I'm gonna put some silver into Mason Lockwood and prove he is a werewolf. See you at the barbecue."

When they got to the Gilbert house, they went inside and Eira immediately found Caroline while Damon went to Alaric.

"Care," Eira was overjoyed. She walked up to Caroline and hugged her before letting go.

"Hey," Caroline's smile was forced and Eira noticed.

"What's wrong?" Eira questioned.

"Stefan told me not to hug you or be that close. He's worried I'll vamp out," Caroline lied.

Caroline was told by Katherine to stay away from Eira because Katherine was jealous and didn't want anyone stealing her best friend.

"Oh," Eira stated, sadly.

"Yeah," Caroline responded and started munching on chips.

"But I'm getting better with dealing all this, though. Munching on stuff helps with the cravings," Caroline explained and Eira nodded.

Caroline and Eira went outside to the front porch and found Elena on the phone. Caroline had brought the chip bowl with her because she needed it to calm her cravings for blood.

"Please, call me. We need to talk about this," Elena hung up the phone.

"Is that Stefan?" Caroline asked as she sat down.

"Yeah, I need to talk to him," Elena looked at Eira.

"No, you don't. He'll talk to you on his own time, Elena," Eira explained.

"Yeah, I agree. You should give him time. I mean, you did kiss his brother," Caroline stated while munching on chips.

Elena's eyes widened, offended but didn't say anything. It was the truth, after all. "Has he said anything to you?" Elena asked Caroline.

"No, but I can tell he's upset," Caroline said. "He's been teaching me how to sublimate the cravings. So, I eat like all the time. It's horrible just fighting the urge for blood every minute of every day. It's even worse with Eira. But, I'm controlling it. I will control it."

Alaric came out and stated,"Hey! Food's ready, come get it."

"Finally, I'm starving," Caroline said going inside and Eira followed after her.

After eating, all of them were playing the game Pictionary. It was where one person would draw something and everyone else had to guess what it was.

"Dress! Ballerina!" Jenna shouted.

"Puppy! Puppy with a tutu!" Caroline shouted her answer.

"No, no," Damon denied.

"A dog! Hound-dog!" Jenna shouted another answer.

"Dances with wolves," Mason simply stated and everyone looked at him.

"Mason wins....again," Damon stated.

"How is that a wolf?" Jenna questioned.

After awhile of playing that game, Eira went to the kitchen where Damon, Elena and Jenna were.

"No, you've never dated you. I've dated many you's," Jenna said to Damon and then she saw Eira.

Jenna smiled at Eira. "Now, you I like. You're nothing like him," Jenna pointed at Damon.

Eira smiled teasingly at Damon, teasing that she was in good graces with Jenna and he wasn't. He just rolled his eyes.

"Thanks Jenna," Eira directed a real smile at Jenna.

Elena handed a silver cutting knife to Jenna which caught Damon's eye. He looked at the silver set that they had.

Damon walks over to the silver set,"These are fancy."

"Thanks. My mother's silver set," Jenna stated.

Damon took a silver knife out of the set and Eira shook her head at what Damon was planning to do. He was going to do something to Mason and Eira thought Damon was just going to cause more problems.

Elena was relentless. She convinced Caroline to take her to see Stefan because Elena wanted to work out their problems. Eira didn't go with them because she did not want to be there when Elena and Stefan talked about their relationship.

Eventually, the barbecue was over and Eira went with Damon. Damon drove them to The Grill and before she could get out, Damon spoke,"Wait here."

Damon got out before she could say anything and she stayed in the car. She texted Stefan while waiting saying that she was at The Grill.

Eira looked around for Damon outside of the car and saw him confronting Mason. She was right. He was going to cause more problems.

Damon stabbed Mason with a silver knife which didn't affect him. After that altercation, Damon came and got her and brought her into The Grill.

"What is wrong with you?" Eira questioned. "Now we have to deal with a werewolf."

"I'm aware of that," Damon said and Eira walked away from him when he sat down at the bar and she sat down at a table in The Grill, waiting for Stefan since he texted her and said he would meet her.

Stefan walked into The Grill with Elena which surprised Eira. Stefan distanced himself with Elena and walked over to the Eira and sat down next to her. Elena had sat down with Caroline who Eira just noticed was there.

Stefan had a downtrodden expression on his face before he sighed,"Elena and I are officially over."

Eira frowned and grabbed Stefan's hand,"You'll move on, eventually, Stefan. She's just one girl. One that you don't need."

Stefan just nodded and soaked up her words, trying to believe them as best as he could. He wanted to move on from Elena. He wanted someone that didn't have feelings for his brother.

Author's Note: Okay, this is a sucky chapter but nothing happens that really involves Eira so I did my best. Stefan and Elena ended, yes it's true. Season 2 is going to kind of be like season 3 in a sense that Elena will be trying to choose a brother.
