Eira's dress for the party.
AN: There's a time skip. I'm on episode 17, although it doesn't really matter that much.
Stefan and Rebekah were gone from New Orleans and not by choice.
Klaus had found out about Rebekah's betrayal from 1919 which was bringing Mikael, their father, back to the city to have Klaus driven out of it. Klaus originally wanted to kill Rebekah, but Eira convinced him to punish Rebekah in a way that didn't involve killing.
A week after the two left, a certain brunette vampire returned.
Damon opened the door to whoever the hell was knocking and a frown made it's way onto his face, "Eww. Why did you have to show up?"
Katherine rolled her eyes and allowed herself inside, "Where is Eira?"
"Damon, who's at...," Eira came down the hallway and her voice died once she saw Katherine in the hallway.
"Kat!" Eira screamed and ran over to Katherine, crushing her in a hug.
"Great. Here we go again," Damon muttered.
Her presence wasn't exactly welcome by everybody, but Eira didn't care. Kat was her best friend and Eira desperately needed her right now, especially with her ongoing pregnancy.

A month passed since Katherine's return and there was an unwelcome presence in the compound, at least to everybody but Klaus. The unwelcome presence being Genevieve, a red-headed witch. Although, Damon and Katherine called her by another name that rhymed with witch. Sometimes, Eira was tempted to call Genevieve by that name as well when she tried to seduce Klaus right in front of her and Klaus just let her.
Eira didn't understand why Klaus even let Genevieve near him considering she was the witch that held him and Rebekah captive for a little while and pitted the siblings against each other. But Eira didn't attempt to figure it out because as soon as she was in the same room as Klaus, his focus on Genevieve was non-existent.
"What's wrong with you, she-devil?" Damon walked into the living room, noticing Katherine's glare on her face.
"That horrible tramp needs to be removed from existence," Katherine answered, talking about Genevieve.
"We're not killing someone," Eira counseled from her spot on the couch.
"Why not? You don't hear what she says about you," Katherine pouted and then used vampire hearing to hear a couple rooms down. "And she's talking right now when she needs to shut her mouth."
"Well, I can't hear it and as long as she doesn't say anything to my face, I don't have any issues," Eira said.
"She's trying to steal your fiancé away from you. You don't have any issues with that?" Damon questioned.
"Yes," Eira answered and the two vampires raised their eyebrows at her.
Eira sighed deeply, "She likes someone that's off limits. That's not punishable by death."
A certain Original in a suit walked by the open living room entrance to go downstairs and Katherine noticed and smirked. She had been flirting with Elijah from the time she arrived in New Orleans and that hadn't stopped, "Someone handsome needs my undivided attention."
"Gross," Damon gagged.
Katherine stood up from the other couch and looked at Eira and her bulging stomach, "When you get back, you're telling me the twins' genders first."
"What? No. She's telling me first," Damon disagreed.
"I'll tell you both first," Eira said before an argument broke out.
They came to a silent agreement and then Katherine left the room to go after Elijah. Eira put her head on Damon's shoulder who sat next to her and she whispered to him, "I'll tell you first."
Damon smiled and then he got up from the couch extending his hand to Eira to help her get up from the couch. It was hard for her to sit down and stand up now because she couldn't bend anymore with how big her belly was. She took his hand and he helped her up.
"I have to get Klaus. I'll see you in a couple hours," Eira said, hugging him and then she started attempted to walk away. She walked a few steps before she started waddling as she felt like this huge balloon of weight was sitting atop her legs.
Eira was in her twentieth week of pregnancy. She had started waddling instead of walking a week ago. Her belly no longer looked like a smudge of fat, instead it actually had a bump. She had a doctor's appointment scheduled during the day and she was going to find out what the sex of the twins were.
She waddled to her shared room with Klaus. She had a hand over her swollen belly as she waddled. She practically always had a hand over her stomach now, it was natural for her. She got to the room to see Klaus sitting down on a stool and painting something, but her attention was on Genevieve who was standing much less than five feet away from him.
Bitch, Eira bit her lip in thought.
"Okay, that's it. Today is my day with Klaus and you are not invited. So, get the hell out, Genevieve," Eira crossed her arms and withheld the urge to call her horrible names.
"And what if he doesn't want me to leave?" Genevieve asked, putting a hand on Klaus's shoulder and putting her lips next to Klaus's left ear.
Eira's anger sparked with Genevieve much too close to Klaus for her liking and touching him was unacceptable, causing her to glare, "That doesn't matter. I want you to leave which means you're leaving."
"Do what she says and leave," Klaus ordered Genevieve.
Genevieve sighed, removing her hand from his shoulder and she slowly left the room. Eira's glare moved to Klaus who was now standing and looking at her. He played innocent as he asked, "What?"
"Why do you let her do that?" Eira complained.
"Do what?" Klaus questioned.
"You let her just touch you and she was within kissing distance of you," Eira said and then muttered in anger. "These are the things that actually make me want her to be killed."
"You want her killed?" Klaus held a frown, not liking her thinking of killing somebody. As much as there was a desire for her to be like him, there was an even greater desire for her to stay like she was: untainted. Of course, Eira killed people before, but she never wanted to do it.
"Yes," she answered immediately and then huffed. "No."
"But you shouldn't let her be all over you. Why do you even let her?" Eira spoke. "I mean, what if I had a guy hanging all over me like Genevieve does to you?"
"Simple, I'd kill him," Klaus answered and then he sighed.
He walked over to her and he grabbed her hands, making her uncross her arms. Their hands were joined together between them and he looked at their joined hands for a few seconds before looking her in the eyes, "I wouldn't want your jealousy to cause you to kill my ally."
"I'm not jealous. But you're mine just like I'm yours. It's unacceptable for her to be that close to you," Eira argued. "And your ally? Since when is she your ally?"
"Eira," his tone was warning her to drop the subject.
"I hate you," she huffed.
"You love me," Klaus disagreed.
"I love you," Eira rolled her eyes and Klaus grinned. "But I'm mad at you."
"I won't let her touch me or be within kissing distance as you say. Does that make you happy?" Klaus asked.
"And she's not allowed in this room. This is our room," Eira added on, looking around with a look of distaste.
Klaus nodded to her demand and Eira spoke, "Now just kiss me before I find some other thing to be mad at you about."
Klaus smiled and he leaned down pressing his lips to hers in a deep kiss that made her toes curl and her chest ache. She would've kept kissing him, but he pulled away.
"As much as I love kissing you, I want to show you something," Klaus explained and then he turned around, leading her with their joined hands to his painting that she hadn't really payed attention to because of Genevieve.
Klaus stepped out of her line of vision and to the side of her, keeping a hold of one of her hands. She smiled when she saw the whole painting. He painted their wedding day from his point of view. Everyone and everything was blurred out. She could tell she was walking down the aisle and she wore a white dress, but the details were blurry. The only thing crystal clear in the painting was her face.
"Are you having like premonitions or something?" Eira asked.
"No," he chuckled. "You told me it wasn't fair a couple nights ago that I had seen one of your dreams and that I had to show you one of mine."
"You dreamt this?" Eira had tears gather in her eyes.
"Many times," Klaus answered with a small smile and then frowned. "Do you like it?"
"Of course I like it," Eira wiped her tears away that kept rolling down her face.
"Why are you crying?" Klaus asked.
"It's the hormones. Just, just say something," Eira said.
Klaus stepped closer to her and wiped some of her tears away with his free hand. He gave her a smile, "It doesn't just happen in dreams, you know. Every time you walk into a room, you're the only thing that matters."
"You just made it worse," Eira wiped at more tears flowing down her cheeks.
"You told me to say something," Klaus argued.
Eira walked past Klaus to the stool in the room and she slowly sat down on it, it being difficult to sit down. She put a hand on the right of her belly, "Now he's kicking."
"He?" Klaus asked.
"You know I want them to be boys, or at least one boy," Eira said. "Get over here and talk to him. He only ever stops when you speak to him."
Klaus took the couple steps towards her and he crouched down. Eira grabbed his hand and replaced hers with his on the right side of her stomach. Klaus smiled when he felt the kicks with his hand.
Klaus brought his face closer to her stomach and he spoke to the banana-sized baby that wouldn't stop kicking, "Your mother wants you to be a boy. I want you to be a girl. With all this kicking, you'd be our little warrior princess."
Then Klaus brought his lips to her belly and whispered something she couldn't hear, but it made the baby immediately stop kicking. It was like the baby was in awe with whatever he said.
"What do you say to him?" Eira asked.
"It's a her. And it's our little secret," Klaus answered.
Eira smiled so widely and she brought a hand to rest on Klaus's cheek, "They're going to love you so much."
Klaus seemed to tense and he stood up, taking his hand away from her belly, "We'll see."
Eira let the subject drop. Every time she said that, Klaus would tense up as if he didn't believe it. She knew he thought of himself as a monster, but they're children would never think that. She'd make sure of it.
Klaus then suddenly picked her up from her seat, carrying her bridal style, "What are you doing?"
"I'm carrying you to the car," Klaus answered. "You still have that appointment today, don't you?"
"You remembered?" Eira asked, quietly. "You seemed so preoccupied with Genevieve when I told you."
"I wouldn't forget something you said," Klaus answered, walking down the stairs.
Eira smiled and then spoke, "You know, I can walk on my own."
"You attempt to walk. You don't actually walk," Klaus argued and then had a cheeky grin appear on his face. "It's cute when you attempt to walk."
Eira rolled her eyes at his comment as Klaus brought her to passenger side of his car. He opened the door and put her in the seat, but gently and with caution. He acted as if she was a china doll. She only wondered how much worse it would get further along in her pregnancy.

Klaus and Eira attended her doctor's appointment. After running a bunch of tests, it was revealed the twins were perfectly healthy. An ultrasound was done and Eira had never seen Klaus smile the way he smiled at the screen showing the tiny babies inside her belly.
"They're perfect," Klaus said softly to Eira before kissing the top of her head, his eyes still glued to the screen.
"I can tell you both the genders if you would like," the doctor stated.
"You're sure you don't want it to be a surprise?" Klaus asked Eira.
"I'm sure," Eira answered and she told the doctor to tell them the genders.
The twins were a boy and a girl. The boy was on the left and the girl was on the right. Klaus got his wish for a warrior princess just like he wanted, who as of now was kicking up a storm again. And she got her wish for a boy. She wanted a little mini-Klaus running around.
_____________________
The appointment was soon over with and Klaus took Eira out to eat lunch because she was complaining about how she was starving even though she ate a really huge breakfast that morning, but she couldn't help it. Her appetite was like that of a whale's now.
After lunch, they went back home where she told Damon first about the twins. She even went on to tell him how she hoped the boy was a mini-Klaus and he got a grossed out look on his face and he shook his head at that idea.
She was going to tell Katherine, but the brunette vampire was nowhere to be found. So instead she went and told Kol. She had told him how the baby girl was an active one, always kicking, and the baby boy was the complete opposite. Kol had smirked and commented how maybe the boy had inherited the gene of being a 'sleeper' from her. She had punched him on the arm for that comment, which he didn't even feel, it just made him laugh. That made her leave his presence.
She then called Stefan and told him the news which he apparently had on speaker because she had heard Rebekah comment how they needed another girl in this male-dominated family. She stayed on the phone with Stefan for awhile, catching up with her twin. But after the call ended, the brunette vampire she was looking for came home with Elijah in tow, who looked aggravated.
"Come on, Elijah. It wasn't that bad," Katherine commented, grabbing Elijah's hand.
They had just gotten back from a meeting with each faction of New Orleans: humans, vampires, and witches. Now werewolves would have to be included because of Hayley.
"There was a chance at peace in this city and now it will be more difficult than ever to attain because of the werewolves," Elijah replied, not even noticing her hand in his.
Katherine tugged on his arm, making him look down at her and their joined hands, "It's not the end of the world, Elijah."
"Of course," Elijah agreed with her, looking down at their joined hands before he looked up at her, staring into her eyes. After a few moments, he let go of her hand and he stepped away from her, breaking their eye contact.
"I have a meeting to attend to with Francesca Correa," Elijah stated. "Please beseech Eira to talk to her werewolf friend about staying in the bayou until we can end the mounting conflict here in the French Quarter."
"I'll try," Katherine replied.
"Thank you," Elijah sighed before leaving, and Katherine watched him leave in disappointment. Katherine turned around to find Eira in the room who was smiling.
"Don't comment. He's a work in progress," Katherine said before smiling at Eira. "Now, tell me. Are we buying girl clothes or boy clothes?"
"Both," Eira put a hand on her belly and smiled down at it. "I'm so happy."
"As you should be," Katherine came over and hugged Eira. "You deserve all the happiness in the world, Eira."

The next morning, Eira was laying in bed on her left side as the left side was the best way to sleep while pregnant. She had also had a pillow between her legs because it helped with pregnancy while sleeping. Klaus wasn't in bed with her. Instead, he was up without a shirt on and he was painting her while she laid in bed.
"Are you almost finished?" Eira asked, impatiently.
"Why are you so impatient?" Klaus asked.
Eira smiled devilishly, an idea coming to her head, "Maybe I wouldn't be so impatient if you would just come over here and kiss me every once in a while."
Klaus bit his lips, contemplating the idea and then he looked over at her; she was too much of a temptation. His decision was made for him as he just got up and started walking towards the bed with the paintbrush still in his hand, it having been forgotten. She was laying towards the center of the bed, towards his side. She always liked to use him as pillow. Not that he minded as that meant she was closer to him.
"Klaus, the paintbrush," Eira said when he approached the side of the bed. He looked at it in his hand and then he put it on the nightstand, not even caring it would get paint on the furniture.
Klaus got onto the bed and laid beside her. One of his hands came to her face and his fingers moved little strands of hair from her face to behind her ear. Then his fingers caressed her face from her ear to her chin where his thumb then moved side to side on her bottom lip.
"You're so beautiful," Klaus stated.
"My hair's like a bird's nest," Eira replied.
"And you're still beautiful," Klaus said, moving his hand as he leaned in and kissed her.
The kiss was soft and slow. Their lips moving, but not wanting to move any faster. They were simply absorbing the feeling of having their lips molding together. It was like a taste they didn't want to get rid of. It was a kiss they got lost in.
Their lips eventually pulled away from each other and their breaths were shallow, uneven breaths. Eira rested her hand at the top of his cheek and ran her fingers through his hair on the side of his head. Their eyes stared at one another and their faces were inches apart. They didn't attempt to kiss again, there was no need. It was just a silent moment they shared where just breathing was breathing in each other.
"I love you," she mouthed to him.
Klaus took her hand and brought it to his chest, putting it on his heart, and he said quietly back to her, "I love you eternally."

Eira was now in the shower and Klaus was now in his painting room, starting a new painting. He had a smile on his face from the effect of Eira. He felt like he was on some kind of high that he could only compare to the days when he drink too much blood resulting in a blood high. But this was different, this was better.
He picked a paint color for the painting and a paintbrush, but when he turned around Elijah with his arms crossed was in front of the canvas he was going to paint on. Klaus smirked, "Not a fan of cerulean blue?"
"Not a fan of your continued indifference," Elijah answered.
"Well, it's difficult trying to unite a community that has a history of mutual loathing," Klaus said.
"Spare me the platitudes, Niklaus," Elijah stated.
"A perspective, then? If you want peace, you must begin with the werewolves. A hundred years ago, they had a run at ruling this city. As of late, all they've had is time to watch their enemies tear down that legacy," Klaus replied.
"All the more reason why their enemies are reluctant to bring them to the table," Elijah said.
"Take a page from Bienville, brother," Klaus put his hand on Elijah's shoulder. "If the table's the obstacle, remove it."
Klaus turned and went to the table, pouring them both alcohol into glasses as he continued to advise Elijah, "Do you recall in 1720, the Governor's desperation to secure our help to build the cities first levees? We sat with him, and refused his offer, and so, he plied us with wine, with corseted women, and with raucous camaraderie until he had his yes."
Klaus handed Elijah his drink and he took it, smirking, "Are you suggesting that I throw a party?"
Klaus raised his glass to a toast, indicating a yes, and then brought it to his lips, drinking it. Elijah tipped his head, hoping this plan would work and then followed suit, drinking from his glass.
Elijah then went to leave the room to plan this party, but he stopped at the door and turned to Klaus. He smiled slightly, "I heard there's going to be a boy and a girl."
Klaus smiled and immediately that high had come right back, "What can I say? I'm lucky."
______________________
"Elijah's throwing a party?" Eira questioned. "Why?"
Klaus was informing her as she brushed through her wet hair, standing at the entrance of their walk-in bathroom.
"He wants to have peace in the city," Klaus answered and then looked at her belly. "For them."
Eira opened her mouth and closed it. Then she smiled, "That's so sweet. Did you tell him thank you?"
Klaus snorted, "No."
Eira threw the brush at him, hoping to hit him but he caught it, "Elijah doesn't have to do that. And, personally, I would like peace in this city. Or at least, semi-peaceful. I want our kids to live in a stable environment."
"And they will," Klaus grinned, walking towards her and handing the brush back to her.
Eira squinted her eyes at him, "But not through Elijah's way?"
"Don't worry your pretty little head about it," Klaus put his hands on her cheeks and kissed her forehead. Then he stepped away from her.
"Fine," she sighed. She knew she was going to get nowhere with him.
She started brushing her hair again, "I'm going dress shopping with Kat."
Klaus hummed, "Don't stay out too long."

Eira came downstairs looking for Katherine which was easier said than done because there was a whole bunch of people downstairs setting up party decorations. The first familiar face she saw was Elijah who was telling people where to place things.
"Elijah," she called, smiling.
Elijah turned towards the sound of his name being called and he smiled warmly at her, "Eira, how...."
He stopped speaking because he was caught off guard by her hugging him. Although, it was like a side hug because she had to turn her stomach sideways to actually hug him. Elijah chuckled and then Eira stepped away from him.
"Thank you," Eira said and looked at her swollen belly. "Klaus told me you're trying to get peace in the city for the soon-to-come twins."
"That's nothing to thank me for. They shouldn't have to live under the threat of violence," Elijah spoke. "They deserve something stable."
"Well, I thanked you, anyway," Eira gave him a small smile. "You deserve to receive that."

Eira eventually found Katherine and they went shopping. Katherine picked out both of their dresses as Eira believed in Katherine's fashion sense. On their way back, Eira had seen something through a store window that she just had to get. It was the most adorable thing ever, in Eira's opinion.
"Klaus, tell me how cute these are," she told him.
He was painting and she was showing him what she bought in the store window. It was two baby t-shirts that had the word twins on both of them in really funky writing. She had gotten a blue one and a pink one.
Klaus glanced over and then looked back at his painting, "It's really cute."
"You didn't even look at them," Eira stated.
"Eira, there our children. With their genetics, they'll look cute in anything."
_________________
It was late at night and the party was in full swing downstairs. Eira was still putting on her dress because she had taken a nap beforehand and had overslept. So now she was late, but she didn't much care.
She had done her makeup, which took her forever and now she was working on putting the dress on. It was a long, golden dress that Katherine picked out. Katherine's exact words was that it made her look hot.
Klaus came into their bedroom and leaned against the wall that lead into their bathroom. He wore an amused smile, "Eira, you're the latest person to this party and the party is downstairs."
"I'm pregnant. I have an excuse," Eira replied, fixing her hair in the mirror. "Now, come over here and zip me."
Klaus grinned as Eira turned her back to him and she moved her hair to one side, revealing her bare back that wasn't covered because of the unzipped dress. Klaus quickly moved over to her and grabbed the zipper, pulling it up slowly, as his fingers caressed her skin. She shivered each time his fingers touched her skin.
He kissed the back of her shoulder once he finished zipping the dress up, "You're teasing me with this dress."
Eira turned around, putting her hair back behind her shoulder as she spoke, looking down at herself, eyebrows crunched together,"Kat said it made me look hot."
"That was an understatement," Klaus hummed as his eyes raked her over her body.
Eira looked back up with a blush and she took the time to analyze him like he was analyzing her. Then she stepped closer, putting her hand on his chest.
"You look hot, too," Eira chewed on her lip, looking at his black tux and then up at him. "You always look great in black."
Klaus nearly chuckled, but he held it in. Any other woman saying that while being so close to him would've been trying to seduce him. But Eira just meant it as her honest opinion.
"God, I love you," Klaus blurted out.
Eira smiled widely up at him,"I love you, too. And I'd kiss you, but I'm wearing red lipstick and it'd go everywhere."
"And I think if we stayed in here any longer, we'd just miss the party all together," Eira said, stepping past him, grabbing his hand and pulling him along with her. Well, he let her pull him along.
They got out into the hallway and Klaus stopped her, "I'll join you later."
She hesitated before saying, "Okay."
"Save me a dance?" Klaus grinned, leaning down and kissing her cheek.
"Always," Eira replied, letting go of his hands and then walking away.
Eira walked down the stairs and some people looked up at her making her tuck one side of her hair behind her ear in nervousness. She finally got down the stairs and a friendly face was waiting for her. It was Kol.
"You look wonderful. My brother will be positively jealous," Kol smirked.
"Jealous about what?" Eira asked.
"That I get the first dance," Kol held his arm out.
"Sure, Kol," she smiled and took his arm.
___________________
After awhile of dancing with Kol, she got tired and needed a break. She walked through the crowd until someone stepped in front of her. She looked up to see a tan-skinned woman with long black hair and bangs.
"It's great to finally meet you. Call me, Francesca," the woman smiled, holding out her hand. Although she had a feeling that smile was fake.
Eira shook the woman's hand and introduced herself, "Eira."
"Oh, I know. How close you are with all the Mikaelsons makes you well-known," Francesca smirked and then frowned which also seemed to be fake. "I hope that doesn't affect you."
"Affect me?" Eira asked.
"It's known the Mikaelsons aren't well-loved by, mostly everybody," Francesca faked a sympathetic smile. "I, personally, wouldn't want you to get hurt."
"That's sweet of you," Eira said, although she questioned if she should actually be saying it.
"Ms. Correa," she heard Elijah's voice from behind her and he quickly moved slightly in front of her. "I'd advise you to enjoy this party elsewhere in the room."
"I was just introducing myself. Have a good night," Francesca smiled and walked away.
Elijah turned to her, "What did she say?"
"I don't think she likes me," Eira's face morphed into one of sadness. "I-I don't even know her."
"She's not a kind woman, Eira. Please stay away from her," Elijah advised.
Eira nodded, "I'll stay away."
"What happened? Why is she so sad?" Damon came up to them and she practically jumped into his arms hugging him. He held her and he gave Elijah a questioning look.
"She'll explain it to you," Elijah said, walking away while looking at the vampire Diego who looked like he was about to attempt something horrible.
"Someone doesn't like me," Eira mumbled to Damon, letting go of him. "I'm in need of cheering up."
"I can show you some of my dance moves," Damon said proudly which made her giggle.

Davina was leaning against the wall in a lonely corner until Kol came up to her, "Would a lovely lady like to dance?"
Davina was about to answer until Monique, another witch, stepped in and smiled flirtatiously, "Of course."
Davina shook her head at Monique and then she was going to walk away, but Kol spoke, "I believe I asked a lovely lady to dance, but it seems I have to be more specific. Davina Claire, will you dance with me?"
Monique stepped back in shock and Davina smiled. Kol held his hand out to her and she grabbed it, following him to the dance floor.
"Thanks for not dancing with her," Davina said.
"Who would want to dance with her when they can dance with you?" Kol stated, making Davina smile a bit more.
__
"Well, it has been a successful party for peace so far," Katherine walked to Elijah.
"Indeed, it has," Elijah said, his eyes scouring around the room for anyone misbehaving.
"Elijah, you need to loosen up. You can stop worrying," Katherine said and then smirked. "Now, I want to dance. Are you going to make me dance by myself?"
"Would it hurt for you to dance by yourself?" Elijah questioned.
"Yes, when I look this good," Katherine said. "Have you seen me?"
Elijah let out an amused smile and he finally looked at her, "Yes, Katerina, I've seen you. You do look quite stunning."
Katherine smiled, "See, Elijah. You prove my point. Just one dance?"
Elijah sighed, "I suppose one dance will be fine."
___
Klaus was upstairs, his elbows on the railing of the balcony, leaning against it. His eyes would gravitate to Eira every so often. He would've gone down to her, but he was waiting on the werewolf named Jackson that he wanted to offer a proposition to. It was one of his schemes.
Genevieve walked over to Klaus, "Why aren't you with your lover downstairs?"
Klaus looked at her for a moment, "I suppose you think we've gotten into some type of spat."
"Have you?" Genevieve smiled.
"No," Klaus turned down her idea immediately which made her frown.
"I don't understand why you're with her," Genevieve stated.
"I never asked for your understanding," Klaus deadpanned.
"No, you didn't. But you still let me be around you," Genevieve whispered into his ear. "Why?"
"It doesn't matter," Klaus gripped the railing as she was getting on his nerves.
"I think you want something more than what Eira can give you," Genevieve said and Klaus quickly turned his head towards her, near a rage about what she was saying.
Before he could rage at her, she had kissed him. He wasn't expecting it because he was angry so the kiss went on a couple seconds more than it should have. But then he grabbed her neck in chokehold, holding her away from.
Genevieve was gasping for breath, "If you ever do that again or anything that jeopardizes my relationship with Eira, you'll be begging me to kill you for the horrors that I'll inflict on you."
Klaus let go of her and she fell to the ground. He wiped his lips with the back of his hand and he walked away from her, seeing Jackson come up the stairs.
___
Eira had mostly been watching Damon dance and the women that had randomly started dancing with him which was hilarious to watch. But sometimes, she would dance with Damon when her feet weren't killing her.
This was one of those times. She was dancing, but then she stopped when she looked up at the balcony. She had kept looking up, hoping that Klaus would come down. But now she was seeing him kiss Genevieve.
She looked away from the balcony and back at Damon, "I need a drink of water."
Eira quickly walked away from Damon and through the crowd of people before he could even ask what was wrong. She went into the kitchen where she took a deep breath. She was sad, but she was so mad at him.
She didn't understand how he could kiss Genevieve. But she knew Klaus. He wouldn't do that to her. But, Genevieve. Kissing her guy was something Genevieve would do. She should've let Katherine kill her.
Eira huffed and grabbed a glass from the cupboard and then she filled it with water. There was no water out there in the party. She took a couple gulps of it before putting in the sink. She stood at the sink and contemplated.
This kiss wasn't something to be upset about. Not really. She was in love with Klaus, and always would be. Genevieve wasn't an obstacle in that.
Eira sighed and turned around to go back to the party but as soon as she did she was met with the face of Francesca and a sharp sting in her stomach.
Eira looked down to see a kitchen knife stabbed into the middle of her stomach. The knife was taken out and stabbed into her left side and then quickly taken out and stabbed into her right side.
Eira was in so much shock. She didn't look back up at Francesca. She was so focused on her swollen belly that had blood pouring out of it from her stab wounds. Eira was frozen because she was so afraid she lost the twins.
The knife was pulled out of the third stab wound and then Francesca lifted Eira's face with her forefinger, "Don't be offended or anything. It's nothing personal. This is just business. If I want to get to the king, I need to take down the queen."
Then Francesca harshly slit Eira's throat with the kitchen knife. She heard Francesca's footsteps leave the room and Eira brought her hand up to her neck and then brought it away. It was covered in blood.
Eira looked down at her stomach and she put her hands on it. Tears started to fall down her cheeks, while she started to cough up blood. She was trying to breath, but there was so much blood in her lungs. She kept coughing and coughing, choking on blood until loss of breath made her collapse to the ground.
She choked a little and then her eyes went still and her body was lifeless. She had no breaths coming out and after a couple of minutes her heart stopped. The only thing moving was her blood pouring out onto the floor.
