The next morning, Eira walked out of the bathroom in just Klaus's shirt. He was laying in the bed, waiting for her to come back into his awaiting arms. She got back into the bed and laid down, her back leaning against the side of his torso and his hands wrapped themselves around her automatically. One hand wrapped around her waist and the other tucked her hair behind her ear before resting itself on her head. Her head rested on his shoulder.

"You've gotten up a lot to use the restroom," Klaus teased, his lips against her forehead.

"I can't help it. It's completely normal if you want me to be pregnant," Eira huffed, her mood becoming aggravated.

Klaus's left hand reached for her left hand, the one with the ring on her finger. He brought her hand up to his lips and kissed her fingers.

"I never want you to take this ring off," Klaus stated his wants.

Eira's mood immediately lightened and she became a ball of sunshine. A wide smile crossed her face, "I would never take it off...unless I like took a shower."

Klaus chuckled and Eira continued, "I hope you know that I want a traditional wedding. I wear a white dress, you can't see me the day of the wedding until I walk down the aisle...,"

She was cut off, "You can have whatever you want. Whatever will make you happy."

Eira smiled again and Klaus's right hand rested on her stomach, his fingers drew circles on the shirt covering her stomach. He pointed out the obvious, "You should be showing soon."

"I'm excited. I already have, at least, one name picked out," Eira revealed to Klaus.

"What name is that?" Klaus asked.

Eira turned on her side slightly so that she could look at Klaus and she said, "If there's at least one boy, I want to name him Henrik."

Klaus smiled, deep in thought about his younger brother, slight tears came to his eyes, "That's my favorite name for a boy. If we have a boy."

"They'll be spoiled kids. We'll be spoiling parents," Eira thought, turning to lay on her back again.

Klaus moved so that he was hovering over her, so that way he could see her face and he spoke, "You never talk about your parents. You know mine all too well."

"I was never close with mine," Eira replied.

    "Why?" Klaus questioned.

"I was always with Stefan. Where ever he went I followed or he just took me with him anyway. He may have been older by a few minutes, but he took the job of an older brother all too seriously. So, I just followed Stefan's footsteps, but I was observant."

"Giuseppe, our father, was abusive. Especially to Damon as our father thought of him as a disappointment. Stefan was close with our mother, Lily, but she never stood up to Giuseppe to protect Damon, so I wasn't close with my mother nor my father."

"You were abused?" Klaus asked, gritting his teeth.

"No. Giuseppe didn't think Stefan and I were disappointments. But he did hit me one time. He was going to hit Damon, and I stepped in front of him, receiving the blow myself."

"So, I guess you could say my parents taught me right and wrong in a indirect way," Eira finished.

Klaus leaned down and kissed her on the lips shortly before pulling away. One of hands reached up and his fingers caressed her cheek, "You should have never been touched."

Eira smiled up at him, "It doesn't matter. They're both dead. I still have my brothers and now I have you."

Klaus shook his head, "I love you so much."

Eira smiled wider, "I love you, too."

Klaus smiled and he brought his lips to her cheek, kissing her skin, and he trailed kisses along her face and her jaw until he got to her lips. He kissed her slowly and deeply, cherishing every second her lips tangled with his. His hands reached down, trailing over her body until they came to the end of his shirt that she had decided to wear.

His fingers touched her skin that resided under her shirt and Eira shifted, moving herself away from him and breaking the kiss they shared. From his hovered position, he looked over at her. She just shook her head as she took deep breaths.

"No," Eira shook her head again. "We've spent too much time away from all the drama that encompasses this city. Plus, I'm still sore from last night."

Klaus moved over towards her and he laid beside her, his arms pulling her closer to him. Her forehead was just a fraction of an inch away from his.

"Then just let me hold you," Klaus pleaded.

Eira leant her forehead against his and smiled softly, "You'd just convince me to stay here with you in this bed all day."

"That sounds like a good plan," Klaus smirked.

Eira kissed his lips quickly and then she left the comfort that his arms provided. She got out of the bed, leaving him feeling cold. She gave him a look.

"We're not staying here all day. So, I'm going to take a shower," Eira said and then invited. "You're welcome to join me."

Eira walked away from the bed, going into the bathroom. It took him a moment to register what she said, but once he did, so quickly did he join her in the shower. Eira made sure it was a just a shower, though, just the simple washing their bodies clean under the hot rushing water of the shower.

"You're perfect," Klaus spoke into Eira's ear as she was trying to brush her hair.

They were both dressed and Klaus was waiting for her. In his wait, he unknowingly decided to make the process of her getting ready go slower. Eira put down the brush and turned towards him, pushing against his chest.

"I can't focus when your whispering sweet words into my ear," Eira stated.

Klaus rolled his eyes and backed up a couple feet, giving her space to finish brushing her ear. Eira turned back around once he did and brushed out all the knots in her hair. The process took like five minutes and Klaus was getting impatient.

"Okay, done," Eira put down the brush. "I'll just let it air dry today."

"Finally," Klaus breathed out.

"It was barely any time at all for you to wait," Eira commented.

"I'm impatient," Klaus replied.

"Well, don't expect me to cater to your impatience," Eira said, walking out of the bathroom with Klaus trailing behind her.

"I wouldn't expect you to," Klaus smiled and grabbed her ringed hand, holding it in his own.

They left the bedroom and went downstairs. Klaus kept kissing her fingers or her cheek as they made their way down the stairs, making her smile. They looked all too happy together.

Eira walked into the kitchen with Klaus by her side. They were greeted by seeing Stefan, Rebekah, and Damon all together. The three of them gave Eira and Klaus odd looks.

"What are you so happy about?" Rebekah questioned.

Eira froze but then she looked at Klaus in nervousness. He squeezed her hand and kissed her cheek to ease her nerves. She gave him a look that told him she wanted him to tell them. Klaus sighed and he looked at them, mainly at the Salvatore brothers, giving them a glance, and then he looked back at Eira. He stared into her eyes and smiled as he spoke the words that made him happy.

"I proposed to Eira and she said yes."

With those eight words, chaos erupted.

Author's Note: I'm sorry for not updating. But my college classes have started up again and I've been really tired. I also watched the inauguration yesterday. So, this week has been busy.

Someone asked me to explain Eira's relationship with her parents so I did. She wasn't close with them so they didn't really affect her all that much.

I'm going back to updating on Fridays and the weekends along with every other weekday.
