It was the next day in the morning. Klaus let Elijah and Rebekah come live at the compound, Eira found out. It was the day of the Casket Girls Festival. Eira got a call early in the morning from Sophie Devereaux. Eira reluctantly answered it.
"What do you want?" Eira answered the phone.
"I need something from you so that the witches can complete the Harvest," Sophie said.
"I'm not helping with you anything," Eira replied.
"You'll help me because if we don't complete the Harvest, our access to magic will fade for good, which doesn't bode well for the werewolves, whom you care about," Sophie explained.
"Marcel forced a witch to curse the Crescent wolves so they'd be trapped in wolf form. Because my bloodline executed that curse. Help me complete the Harvest, and I'll undo the curse for you," Sophie blackmailed.
"How could I even help you?" Eira asked.
"I need to consecrate the remains of a powerful witch so I can absorb their magic. I know of one whose body was never found. Her name is Celeste DuBois. I believe you and she have a friend in common?" Sophie asked, referring to Elijah.
"No, Elijah's my friend. I don't betray friends," Eira started. "Why don't you try getting someone else to help you?"
Eira hung up the phone, shocking Sophie and frustrating her. Eira was beyond mad, but she put that anger away.

Eira wanted to go see all the festivities of the Casket Girls Festival. She was going through the many old clothes in the compound to pick an outfit for the event. She made Damon help her.
"Tell me again, why I have to help you with all this?" Damon complained.
"Sometimes, I can't get the zipper and I'm sure you don't want me asking some random vampire," Eira explained.
"Yeah. Yeah, you're totally right," Damon straightened up, going into the protective mode. He wouldn't complain anymore.
Eira had changed into a old, white dress in the bathroom. It had lacing on the top of it and around her waist. It was a long dress that went down to just above her feet. It had see-through long sleeves but the sleeves rested just off the shoulder.
She tried zipping it, but it was difficult. She went out of the bathroom where Damon waited and his eyes widened. He thought she looked like she was getting married.
"I definitely need your help with this one," Eira looked at him with puppy dog eyes.
Damon rolled his eyes and he came and zipped her dress, and it had a button so he buttoned it as well. Eira went to the mirror and she inspected herself. She smiled.
"So, how do I look?" Eira questioned.
"You look like you're about marry someone. Should I be concerned?" Damon questioned.
Eira gave him a look, telling him no. They were interrupted by a voice, "I hope that doesn't happen for many, many years. Like, you know, a hundred."
Stefan walked into the room and Eira smiled, "You don't have to worry. I don't expect Klaus to ask me for many, many years. I'm hoping like at least a decade."
Damon and Stefan had frowns cross their faces, imagining Eira marrying Klaus. They didn't want her marrying anybody for a long, long time.
"So, your, uh, sure it's Klaus?" Stefan asked, awkwardly.
"Stef, that's been obvious for awhile," Eira answered.
"Now, what are you doing here? I thought you were taking Rebekah to see the festivities," Eira asked Stefan.
"I am. I just, thought I'd check in first," Stefan said, frowning, thinking about her marrying someone. "Kind of regretting that now."
"Well, have fun," Eira smiled and she went hugged Stefan. He hugged her back and then he left.
Eira turned and looked at Damon who had a foreign look in his eyes, "Yeah, at least a hundred years. Tell Klaus that, will you?"

Davina was missing. She ran away because she didn't want anyone to use her for her power, use her like a puppet. She was going to go to Eira, but Davina didn't think it was a good idea to stay in the compound. So, she went to Camille, she trusted her.
Klaus was pacing in the living room, telling Marcel what happened, "You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to know the obvious. Our secret weapon has escaped."
"She wouldn't just leave. She knows the witches want her back," Marcel stated.
Elijah came into the room, "Her violin is missing. She may have left of her own volition."
Marcel interrogated Elijah, getting face to face with him, "What did you say to her in the attic? She lied to my face so she could stay up there, thinking that you'd help her control her magic. How do we know you didn't take her?"
"I have no idea where Davina is, or why she ran away. Can I suggest you take a step back?" Elijah said.
Marcel took a steps back and turned away from Elijah and once he did, Elijah spoke again, "I can assure you I have absolutely no desire to see that child come into harm's way. She's suffered enough with this Harvest ritual nonsense."
"That child, to whom you refer to so affectionately, is the most powerful witch in New Orleans. If she's fled, what's to stop her from destroying us? In fact, destroying all we've worked for? No, if she's not a friend to this family, then she is our enemy," Klaus thought of Davina as a threat.
Kol walked into the room, hearing what Klaus said, "You're not going to hurt Davina."
"She only left because someone didn't tell her Agnes, the witch elder, was dead," Kol looked at Marcel.
"Who told her that?" Marcel asked, glaring at Kol for making Davina think the worst of him.
"Eira did. They're fast friends, those two," Kol smirked and looked at Klaus, knowing it would weigh on his conscience.
"She's a friend, Klaus," Marcel stated, trying to get Klaus to not hurt Davina.
"Well, let's hope so. Lucky for you, I know how to get her back. Follow my lead," Klaus said and left the room.
Marcel and Kol went to follow Klaus but Elijah put a hand up, signaling them to stop,"We all know how Niklaus operates. If he perceives a threat, he can become quite ruthless. This would not bode well for Davina."
"So what do you suggest, brother?" Kol asked.
"A distraction," Elijah stated.
Kol smirked, knowing exactly what Elijah was thinking. It would work all too well. Marcel didn't think a distraction would work at all.
"A distraction? Really? How would that work? Klaus could figure out he was being distracted in an instant," Marcel questioned, incredulously.
"Not necessarily," Elijah said and he walked out of the room with Marcel and Kol following. "Keep Klaus in the compound while I procure the said distraction."
Kol and Marcel did what they were told, which wasn't too hard. Klaus just ordered his vampires to go look for Davina. Elijah went and found the distraction: Eira.
Elijah leaned on the doorway before entering the room where Eira and Damon were. Eira decided she was wearing the old, white dress to the festivities. She planned to go with Damon, but plans changed.
Eira and Damon noticed Elijah, making Elijah speak, "It appears that we need your help today, Eira."
"What do you need me for?" Eira crossed her arms and Damon sighed.
"Davina is missing. Klaus thinks she's a threat and if he finds her...," Elijah was cut off.
"He might do something drastic. I'm guessing you want me to distract him while you go and find Davina," Eira said.
"You'd be correct," Elijah replied.
Eira looked at Damon, "I'm sorry."
"Other plans can be made, Eira. You are needed," Damon reassured that it was fine for her to leave him for the day.
Eira nodded and she looked at Elijah, "I'll distract him for the day. That's all I can give you."
"Very well," Elijah commented and he gestured for her to come with him.
Eira looked apologetically at Damon to which he just gave her a small smile. Eira followed Elijah and he led her to Klaus who was in the courtyard. He had just sent his vampires off to look for Davina before he went and searched himself.
Elijah looked at Eira and she took a deep breath. She walked away from Elijah, towards Klaus and she called his name. He immediately turned his head towards her, his breath catching in his throat.
She was walking towards him in that long, white dress. Klaus thought she might as well be placed in a chapel, walking down the aisle. Eira walked till she was in front of him and she smiled up at him.
"Can you take me to see all the festivities today?" Eira questioned, biting her lip with a smile. "Please?"
He was lured into her little distraction as soon as she walked towards him. Her smile was everything. He wanted her to smile and she was biting her lip, making him want to kiss her. Biting her lip was actually a nervous habit. She didn't know that it seduced him. But it very much did.
"Okay," Klaus's voice was a ghost of a whisper.
Eira smiled widely, not biting her lip anymore once she got what she wanted and she didn't have to be so nervous. Eira grabbed his hands, entwining them with hers. She pulled him with her as she walked backwards towards the exit of the compound. He followed, a willing victim.
Once they left the compound, Kol was smirking. Marcel stood on shock, "That did not just happen."
"I believe he'll be quite distracted. So, why don't we find Davina?" Elijah said, walking up to Kol and Marcel.

Klaus had followed Eira through the streets of the French Quarter of New Orleans like a lost puppy. His only focus was on her and as such, he noticed how nervous she was. She would fumble with her hands every now and again, alerting Klaus she was up to something.
She tried not to fumble with her hands, but she wasn't a good manipulator. She was a nervous one. It wasn't that hard for Klaus to figure out she was distracting him. Although, he just let her distract him. As long as he got to stay by her side all day, he was fine.
It was nearing lunch time and Eira spoke her thoughts on the matter, "Klaus, I'm craving carrots. But, you know, those little small ones."
"You hate carrots," Klaus stated, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as they walked. "You immediately throw them away."
"Well, my food cravings are like all weird," Eira explained. "So, that is what I request for lunch."
"Really? Carrots?" Klaus said in disbelief.
"It's weird for me, too, if you must know. But that means we're going to the store. Because I want those baby ones," Eira stated.
Klaus let her drag him to the store where she picked out a bag of baby carrots. She got some ranch sauce to dip them in. Klaus was still in disbelief, but he payed for it for her.
The both of them then went to a bench outside where she sat and ate them, dipping them in ranch. Even though, she really just wanted to eat all the carrots herself, she offered him a carrot. Her face was so cute as she asked, she stopped eating and looked at him like she was momentarily thinking. She looked up at him, her green eyes giving him a glance, her lips pouted together and her nose crinkled as she asked him. Even though he thought carrots were bland and distasteful, he took the small little carrot from her hand and ate it. He simply couldn't refuse her.
Once she was done eating the carrots, she threw the bag away with the ranch in a nearby trash can. She walked back to Klaus who was standing and waiting for her, she started fumbling with her hands again now that she wasn't distracted by food and was back to the task she was assigned.
She walked past him, going back to festivities. He followed her and before she could reach the huge crowd in the streets, Klaus wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, pulling her to him and she was stopped.
He spoke in her ear, "You know, you've been doing a very job. But it's quite easy to tell that you're keeping me busy and distracting me."
Eira turned in his arms and she looked up at him, "Are you mad?"
"Mad at you? No, I couldn't. It's simply impossible," Klaus answered.
"So, are you stopping me from distracting you now?" Eira questioned.
"Oh, no. I love your company. I'd let you distract me all day," Klaus replied.
Eira smiled and he was hopelessly in love with her smile. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead and then he pulled away, grabbing her hand, speaking again, "Now, I believe you did say you wanted to see all the festivities."

It was nighttime and music started playing on the streets and most of the huge crowd was dancing. Klaus was twirling Eira around, making her smile. She was having fun.
Her bright green eyes were sparkling with joy. Her smile was wide and it made her seem like her whole being was alight with happiness. She was beautiful and perfect, to Klaus. He wanted to see her smile every single day of his life. He wanted just wanted her there every single day of his life.
He twirled her again, twirling her close to him and he put his hands on the side of her face. He kissed her, unexpectedly to Eira, but she kissed him back nonetheless.
He had thought about this for so long, he even got the one thing that made it possible for him to ask. He pulled away from the light kiss he shared with Eira, not deepening it. He looked at her so intently and Eira was confused.
"Marry me," Klaus felt like his heart plummeted into his voice.
"W-What?" Eira stuttered out, so caught off guard.
Eira couldn't even form words after that. She didn't have to speak because Klaus grabbed her, moving her from the huge crowd and onto the more deserted sidewalk next to an alleyway.
He pulled a little pouch that a drawstring out of his pocket and he spoke without looking at her, "I've been thinking about proposing to you since the summer. I just, I was always too afraid."
He looked up at her then with a smile, "But if there is anything I want to say I did in my immortal life, I want to say that I married you because I love you so much."
He opened the pouch and pulled out a beautiful ring, "I know you like roses. I would've carried the box, but it wouldn't fit in my pocket and I carry this everywhere."
Eira couldn't even speak and Klaus was getting beyond nervous, "Eira, this would be the part where you said something."
"You're supposed to get on one knee. A proper proposal," Eira blurted out the first thing she thought about.
Klaus smiled and he immediately knelt down on one knee. He was sure if his heart could beat, if would've beat right out of his chest at how nervous he was.
"I want to spend every day of every lifetime with you, Eira Salvatore. So, will you make me the happiest man alive by becoming Eira Mikaelson. Will you marry me?" Klaus proposed.
Tears filled up in Eira's eyes and they fell down her cheeks in a steady stream. She was smiling though, happiness spreading through her bones. Klaus was more than confused on why she was crying and it only made him more nervous.
"I love you. Yes. Of course it's a yes," Eira sniffled and smiled.
Klaus grabbed her hand and he slid the ring on her finger which it somehow fit perfectly. His smile was so obliterating on his face, he had never been so happy in his immortal life. Eira was still crying, though.
Klaus stood up, putting the pouch back in his pocket. He put his hands on her cheeks, wiping away her tears, "Is it normal for crying to happen in this moment?"
"I don't know, I've never been engaged before. I'm just really happy," Eira happily cried.
Eira didn't care if she was crying though. She looped her arms around Klaus's neck and she pressed her lips to his. Klaus immediately kissed her back in a slow, deep kiss.
They both walked back to the compound together, slowly, as they couldn't stop kissing one another. Klaus would've used his hybrid speed to get them there, but there were far too many eyes on the streets and people around them. The both of them probably looked drunk from the wide smiles on their faces, simply too happy, far too consumed with the other.
When they did make it back to the compound and to their bedroom, Klaus's hands undid her white dress and they touched every part of her body, setting chills rampant everywhere. His lips kissed every part of her skin as they proceeded to have sex for the second time.
Author's Note: I'm crying. My little child, Eira, is engaged. I feel like a mom. This was why I wanted to write this episode. I had it planned when I started this story. Yeah, this episode was completely different, and I'll explain what happened with Davina in the next one.
Thank you for 500k, my wonderful readers.
