Klaus had left Eira alone like she wanted. She went to sleep without him like she had been doing a lot. She was exhausted and worn out from everything, emotionally and physically so she fell right to sleep.
When Eira woke up, it was like the world cursed her. She had morning sickness and she hurried to the bathroom, puking in the toilet. She flushed it and she sat against the wall of the bathroom, breathing heavily. Once she felt like the wave of nausea left her, she stood up.
She brushed her teeth and went about her morning, getting dressed and then going to downstairs to eat breakfast. Eira was on a mission today. She wanted to go back to the bayou and heal Elijah. She felt like Klaus went too far. She understood that Elijah made a mistake by saying Klaus didn't care, but it was just a mistake and his punishment, to Eira, was far too severe.
Eira was going to bring Hayley with her, as well. Well, she needed Hayley because Eira had no clue where she was going. But Eira thought that Hayley should break her sire bond, Eira didn't want Hayley to live her life serving her. The best place for Hayley to turn over and over again into a werewolf until she didn't feel pain was in the bayou.
After eating breakfast, Eira went into the room where Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, and Stefan were sitting and assortment of breakfast foods were laid out. She would've sat there and ate breakfast before, but she was avoiding Klaus. This was the one moment she wasn't because she had to inform him of her actions.
Rebekah was giving Klaus a glare. She found out that Klaus had bit Elijah and she was bitter at Klaus. She also found out that Eira's and the babies' blood could be used to sire hybrids. She, like Elijah, chose to believe that Klaus was going to use, at least, the babies to sire hybrids. She believed the worst in Klaus because he had bit Elijah and that's all she'd ever really been shown, the worst.
Kol chose not to get involved in the bickering between Klaus and Elijah. He knew it would get him nowhere and he'd probably end up daggered if he did get involved. He'd simply just wait for Elijah's return.
As soon as Eira walked into the room, Klaus's eyes immediately went to her. She walked up to the table they were sitting at and she looked at Klaus. She sighed.
"I thought you should know I'm going to heal Elijah. So, now you'll know where I'll be all day," Eira informed him. "And I'm taking Hayley with me. So, I'll be fine."
Klaus would've protested, but he would let her do anything, all in the name of her forgiveness. He was angry, of course, that she was going to heal Elijah. But he put that anger aside. For her. He just simply nodded his head at her and Eira walked away.

Klaus had brought Camille over to the plantation house to type out his thoughts, his memoirs. He paced with an alcoholic drink in his hand as he talked and she typed, being compelled to do so.
"They have all forsaken me. My siblings are as deceitful in disease just as my parents ever were. Accusing me of using my baby for my own gain, trusting others before their own blood. Except Kol, he's the only true sibling," Klaus talked.
"Would a laptop kill you?" Camille said, tired and frustrated.
"That typewriter was good enough for Hemingway," Klaus responded.
"I see the resemblance. Booze and random acts of violence," Camille commented.
"And Eira. They all believe I would use her, use our children. I would never do that. But I'm afraid I've lost her forever. What if she never forgives me? I hurt her, I didn't mean to, but I did. I'll never do it again," Klaus paced even more anxiously. "She's going off to heal Elijah, I'm bitter about them. They get along so well. I just don't know what I'd do without her....," Klaus trailed off and looked at Camille who had stopped typing. "Type, please!"
"Why should I? It's the same thing over and over again. Your siblings are out to get you. You're in love with Eira but you're on the outs with her," Camille said. "I mean, why don't you just talk to her?"
"I don't remember asking for your advice," Klaus stated.
"Oh, really? So, of all the people in New Orleans, you choose someone with a masters in psychology to record your life story. You're over a thousand years old. Pretty damn sure you know how to type. The truth is, you compelled me to come here because you have no one else to talk to when Eira isn't around, and then you compel me to forget because you don't want anyone finding out about her," Camille explained. "How do you even have problems with her? It's clear that she's your every waking thought."
"Nothing would've happened if it wasn't for Elijah. He should've stayed daggered in a box," Klaus said bitterly and Camille had enough of the listening to the same thing.
She packed up her things and got up, "Your siblings are not the problem. You can't blame everything on them. You made some sort of mistake with Eira, obviously. It's your job to fix it."
Camille left and Klaus let her leave. Klaus had other matters to deal with, like the missing daggers. He figured Marcel had them, and Marcel was dodging him. Klaus figured he was up to something and he wanted to figure out what it was.
Rebekah was the one with the daggers, though. But she was scheming against Klaus with Marcel. Stefan told her it was bad idea and that it would only get her in trouble, but he let her do what she wanted. She was, after all, her own person and she could make her own choices.
So Rebekah was with Marcel during the day while Klaus went to interrogate Josh, his compelled vampire, but he wasn't compelled anymore because of Davina. Klaus told Josh to spy on Marcel to find out where the daggers were.
Rebekah was down in The Garden with Marcel, him showing her where Klaus would be locked up after they subdued him.
"Where are we gonna put Klaus? He needs to be away from all the others. We don't want him formulating descent. You know he has a knack with words, he could talk his way out of hell," Rebekah said.
"Yeah, I got a spot picked out for him in the back. Only person he's gonna be talking to in the next fifty-two years is himself," Marcel answered.
"Fifty-two?" Rebekah asked.
"One for each year that he kept you daggered in the 1800s," Marcel explained, trying to win Rebekah over.
"No, I see where this is going," Rebekah shook her head. "I am with Stefan, I'm staying with Stefan. The only reason I'm plotting Klaus's demise is because I don't want him to have any more hybrids."
"How is it exactly that he can make hybrids? You weren't very specific on that," Marcel tried to get information.
"That's being kept secret. That's the one thing I agree with Klaus on," Rebekah stated and Marcel sighed in disappointment that he didn't get her to spill how it was possible. He was also bitter that Rebekah was choosing Stefan.
Marcel and Rebekah went about the day, scheming. They fed Josh, who used to be compelled by Klaus, misinformation. Josh told Klaus about how Marcel was clearing out the compound at night for date, but really it was just a trap for Klaus.

Hayley took Eira back to the bayou with hybrid supernatural speed. Hayley waited while Eira went to heal Elijah.
"Elijah!" Eira called out into the bayou. She went back into the small cabin where Tyler had taken her. She found Elijah laying on the bed, writhing in agony. She hurried over to him and touched his arm, being pulled into a vision.
It was a vision back in a later time in 1821. Klaus and another man were preparing for a duel. They held revolvers in their hands, and Klaus counted down numbers in French. When he got to the last number, he turned and fired his revolver, shooting the unknown man in the head. Other people came and dragged the body to a pile of other dead men's bodies.
Elijah came storming out into the field, angered by Klaus,"Brother! Please, this is high folly. Is it not enough you have slaughtered dozens in just these past several weeks? Word of a city littered with bodies will surely travel the oceans. Do you want to bring our father upon us?"
"Relax, brother. I've sent rumor that the bodies are result of the witches seeking blood sacrifice for their rituals," Klaus explained.
"You did what?" Elijah was furious. "Have you forgotten? Celeste is one of those that you recklessly point your finger at?"
"Who's Celeste?" Klaus feigned ignorance. "Wait....Oh, yes! The witch you've been knocking around with. Well, fear not. Harlots are like rats in the Quarter. You trip over one every step you take."
Elijah angrily went and took a revolver. He fired it, a bullet hitting Klaus in the chest. Klaus looked at the bullet wound annoyed.
"You care about her," Klaus sighed. "Well, that is unfortunate. I hear they're rounding up the town's witches as we speak."
Eira was taken out of his vision as Elijah sat up on the bed. She was very much confused. Elijah seemed angry and very much dazed.
"Elijah," she called his name and put a hand on his shoulder to get his attention. His dazed look went away as he looked at her.
"What are you doing here?" Elijah asked. "Klaus wouldn't have liked you to come here."
"I'm here to heal you, Elijah. Even if Klaus is mad about it," Eira explained and she held out her wrist towards him.
Elijah shook his head, "I shouldn't."
"Elijah, I did not waste my time trying to help you for you to say no. Now, please, let me heal you," Eira said, determinedly.
Elijah grabbed her wrist and he bit into it gently and only for a moment before he pulled away. The bite on his neck, immediately healed and Eira sighed in relief.
Eira stepped back, pulling her hand away and the wound healed from the babies' blood. Elijah stood up and looked at her apologetically.
"I'm sorry for accidentally letting you into my mind," Elijah apologized.
"You were hallucinating. It's fine," Eira shook her head.
"Why would Klaus even let you come out here to heal me? No doubt, he wanted me punished," Elijah questioned.
"We're kind of on a break, now," Eira answered, vaguely.
"I'm sorry, it was my fault for saying what I said," Elijah apologized again.
"You need to stop apologizing to me. You need to apologize to Klaus for what you said. The only reason I'm out here is because I thought you being punished was too severe. You made a mistake, you can make up for it," Eira lectured him.
"Now, I believe we can leave," Eira said, finished with her lecture and Elijah smiled.
Eira went out of the small cabin and Elijah followed her. Once they were outside, they saw Hayley sitting around a fire, conversing with a woman with white-blonde hair.
The woman stood up once Eira and Elijah walked towards them. The woman's eyes flashed yellow once she saw Eira fully for the first time.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" Eira asked the woman politely.
"This is Eve," Hayley answered, holding a book to her chest. "Who I've learned is apart of my family."
Eve stepped forward towards Eira which made Elijah step a little closer to Eira. Eve stopped, noticing his defensive stance and spoke, "I wouldn't hurt her. It's such a pleasure to finally meet you, Eira."
Eira's forehead wrinkled in confusion, "You know me?"
"Every werewolf pack who keeps records knows you," Eve said. "You're Mother Nature. Every werewolf who meets you is supposed to follow your orders. That's why our eyes glow gold when we see you."
Eira was momentarily shocked and she couldn't speak. Elijah spoke for her, "You mean to tell her that she's a werewolf ruler?"
"Yes," Eve smiled at Eira. "Every werewolf has been waiting a long time for you, so have the witches."
Hayley had another book next her and Eve grabbed it. She handed it Eira. Eira took it hesitantly, "What is it?"
"Your history," Eve stated. "All the witches know it. Most werewolf packs know it and our pack has a book since we came in close contact with one of you before."
"She can read it over at home," Elijah stated and Eira nodded. "But I'm sure she'll be back."
Eira nodded and looked at Hayley, "I want you to break the sire bond, okay?"
Hayley smiled and joked, "Thanks for not making me a slave."
Eira went and hugged Hayley goodbye before leaving. She said a small goodbye to Eve, who seemed nice enough. Eira held the book the her chest as Elijah escorted her to the car he had driven to the bayou.

Klaus went to the compound where Marcel was waiting to enact the trap. It was empty when Klaus got there, making Klaus suspect deceitfulness. Marcel appeared along with Rebekah who held the dagger in her hand.
Marcel whistled, bringing out some of his guys. Klaus was amused at his idea of a take down, but then Marcel brought more men making Klaus worried. Klaus brought out a coin, promising to show mercy to whoever grabbed it. No one did.
The vampires attacked Klaus and he killed some of them but they wrapped his hands in chains, and they were beating him, having the upper hand. But Klaus's hybrid face appeared, showing his golden eyes and the veins underneath it.
Klaus started taking down vampires left and right. He was unstoppable. Rebekah was very scared and convinced Marcel to pick up the coin. Marcel did, giving Klaus the keys to ruling New Orleans.
It was awhile later and Marcel was standing on the balcony of the compound, overlooking the dead vampires' bodies being burned. Rebekah had left. Klaus went and stood next to Marcel.
"Looking at what you've wrought," Klaus stated.
"Look, if you're gonna kill me, let's get this over with," Marcel replied.
"Why would I kill you? You picked up the coin. There are rules of engagement in battle, Marcel. Without them, you'd have anarchy," Klaus said and changed topics. "I would, however, like to talk about accommodations. Your living quarters, for example. I believe they used to be mine."
"You own this. Fine. It's yours. You can put me back on the street for all I care. But let's make one thing clear-- You will never have this: loyalty. You can't buy it, you can't own it, you can't force it. It comes only out of love and respect for the people who believe in you," Marcel spoke, not knowing about Eira and her belief in Klaus.
"I've known loyalty, Marcel. It's just my unwavering ability to lose it," Klaus believed.
"Maybe you should fix that. Enjoy your kingdom," Marcel said, bitterly and walked away.

Elijah parked the car in the driveway of the plantation house. Eira had the book Eve gave to her pressed to her chest. Eira looked at Elijah.
"It's quite the interesting adventure we've had today," Elijah stated.
Eira tapped her fingers on the hard cover of the book and bit her lip, "I don't want to overstep, but that memory you had...,"
"I was beginning to think you wouldn't have even asked," Elijah cut her off.
"It's just, I've never seen Klaus like that and I don't why Klaus would do that to you. I mean, whoever Celeste was seemed important to you and Klaus had her killed, right?" Eira said, her voice soft as she spoke.
Elijah was reluctant but he trusted Eira. He reached over with his hand and put his fingers on her forehead showing her a memory.
Elijah walked into a room where a dark-skinned woman was floating in the bathtub. She was dead, she had been drowned. Her eyes were open, lifeless. Elijah knelt down next to the bathtub and grabbed her face, pulling her up out of the water.
Elijah put his forehead against hers, the dead Celeste. Elijah sobbed and screamed in agony for losing Celeste, the woman he loved.
Eira was taken out of the memory and Elijah pulled his hands away from her forehead, slowly. He had somber look on his face as he remembered.
"She died because of Klaus?" Eira said in shock.
"She died because of me. Because I cared too deeply for her. I had allowed my brother to slip through my grasp. I loosened the reigns while Celeste consumed my every moment. I had abandoned him in the name of my own happiness. Celeste payed the price," Elijah spoke his thoughts.
"You can't possibly think that?" Eira shook her head. "You're allowed to be happy, Elijah. You don't have to cater to Klaus every waking moment."
Eira grabbed Elijah's hand and held it, "I'll make sure of it. You can have happiness and your family, Elijah."
Elijah looked at Eira intently as Eira squeezed his hand and then pulled her hand away. Elijah spoke, "This is why I don't believe my brother's intentions for you."
Eira looked at him, confused, as Elijah spoke, "Niklaus has always believed that love is a vampire's greatest weakness. I don't understand why he would let that belief go for you."
"You may not believe it, Elijah, but Klaus is capable of doing good things. And you may not believe it, but he is hurt by your belief of him not having good intentions for me and these children," Eira explained and then shook her head. "Your family is so dysfunctional, I don't understand it."
"You know when I first met you, I was immediately puzzled by you," Elijah stated.
"Why?" Eira questioned.
"You have achieved what my family constantly struggles with: forgiveness," Elijah answered. "The way you forgive your brothers for anything, that's all I ever try to do. I admire you."
Eira sighed, "Listen, Elijah. I know Klaus has concerns about the two of us and I just, well, I'll just be blunt: I don't like you in that way."
"I'm glad, it would've been entirely awkward," Elijah stated with a chuckle at how she said her words.
"Good, we're on the same page," Eira smiled.
Elijah went serious, "Although, I do believe it's my fault for Klaus's continued beliefs about us. I was too vague with him about you."
Eira huffed and pushed his shoulder, "Well, it's entirely your job to fix it."
Eira got out of the car with the book and Elijah chuckled, getting out of the car himself. Eira sat on the steps of the front porch and she spoke, "Now, go deal with your brother."
Elijah did as he was told and he went to deal with Niklaus. He found him about to dagger Rebekah.
"Don't you dare," Elijah warned.
Klaus turned around and pointed the dagger at Elijah, "Perhaps it should be you, brother. Stealing Eira away and placing doubts in her mind."
"This has nothing to do with Eira," Elijah stated.
"It has everything to do with her! She has adored you since she met you because she's so much like you. She went to heal you, even with your accusations against me," Klaus shouted.
"And she has repeatedly told me that what I said was untrue. That I shouldn't have believed those accusations," Elijah explained.
"And why would you have believed them in the first place? What have I done lately, other than cooperate? I bow down to you, brother, to make up for daggering you. For the greater good of our plan to reclaim our home. Both of you have betrayed me, believing the worst," Klaus had tears falling down his cheeks. "Now, I make no excuses for past sins. But in the one moment when you two could have chosen to stand by me-- to believe in me, to believe my intentions for Eira and my own children were pure-- you chose to stand against me, to side with my enemies."
"I love that girl, more than anything in the world. I would never dare even think of using her," Klaus admitted. "I wanted our home back. Now I have it. So, I'm going to live there. And the two of you... you can stay here together and rot."
Klaus handed the dagger, angrily, to Elijah and he left the room. Both Elijah and Rebekah looked guilty. Klaus walked out of the house quickly seeing Eira on the steps of the house.
"You're coming with me," Klaus ordered.
"Why?" Eira questioned.
Klaus sighed and turned around, facing her, "I realize that we are on a break. But you are the only thing that matters to me. I have reclaimed the Quarter and that is where you'll be staying."
Klaus held his hand and Eira sighed, grabbing it. He pulled her up quickly and she stumbled towards him. She put her hands on his chest to steady herself and from this close proximity, the only thing he could focus on were her eyes. She looked up at him once she steadied herself, and she noticed his stare.
Tears filled his eyes and he uttered words out in such a broken voice, "I'm sorry."
Eira sighed and she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. He wrapped his arms around her immediately and tears dropped from his eyes.
"Please, don't tell me I've lost you as well," Klaus pleaded.
"You haven't lost me. You'll never lose me," Eira promised. "I do love you, so much."
Eira pulled away from the hug and she put her hands on his cheeks, wiping his tears away, "I love you, Klaus. It's because I love you that I'll forgive you. But that doesn't mean I'm not still hurt by what you did."
"I would never wish to hurt you. It wasn't my intention to hurt you," Klaus rambled.
"I know, I know," Eira soothed him and hugged him again.
Klaus would've stayed in her arms forever. For eternity. That was the moment he knew that this was the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his eternal life with. He loved her with every fiber of his being. She was his existence in that moment. He loved her so wholeheartedly, everything inside of him ached for her. He thought for so long that she was his, it was entirely different. He was completely hers. She had complete power over him whereas he had no power over her. If there words inscribed on their foreheads, hers would be stamped: ruler of Niklaus Mikaelson's heart.
Author's Note: There is going to be some interesting things to learn about Mother Nature's history. I had fun thinking it up. So, Elijah and Eira are gonna be BROTP.
By the way, yes, Eira forgave Klaus. I mean, Eira is a very forgiving person and I don't think what Klaus did was that bad. I mean, he slightly physically hurt her. But I mean, he's a hybrid and he has hybrid strength. He was angry and when he grabbed her, he never meant to hurt her. His anger just got the best of him and he wasn't able to control his strength. But Klaus would never, and I mean never, think of hurting her.
