Chapter Thirteen | Love Don't Change

We been through the worst, Made it through the weather, Our problems and the pain, Our love don't change

"You look beautiful, Hehewuti." Billy said.

"Thank you, Billy, you look handsome." I said as I kissed his cheek.

"And what about me?" Chaska asked as he came out the house.

"You look just as handsome as your father. Now, let's go I have a feeling that we're going to witness something at that wedding." I said.

"Yeah, a vampire marrying a human." Chaska said as he helped Billy into the truck.

"No, something is going to happen. I can feel it." I said as I put Billy's wheelchair in the back of the truck.

"Chaska, we should always follow your mother's instincts, no matter how crazy she sounds." Billy said to Chaska in the truck.

"Hey, I heard that." I said.

Chaska chuckled.

"Right, super hearing." Billy muttered.

"How could you forget?" Chaska asked as I got in the truck.

"Son, the last time your mom was here, she was practically human." Billy answered as he pulled out of the dirt driveway and onto the road.

"One day, you guys have to tell me the whole story." Chaska said.

"Maybe, Billy can tell it at the next bonfire." I said.

"Mhm, a little over the top for my taste but I guess it works for them." I said as I took my seat.

We had arrived at Bella and Edward's wedding and Esme had led us to our seats. I practically ignored her and her family as Charlie walked up to us and hugged us and thanked us for coming.

"We're family, Charlie." I said to him as he squeezed my hand.

I knew this day would be hard on him.

"How much did this wedding cost?" Chaska asked.

"As long as I didn't have to pay for it, I didn't ask." Charlie answered, causing us to laugh.

"Charlie, you should go and see Bella." Carlisle said, waking up to us. I felt Billy and the boys stiffened next to me as Sue held Seth's hand, calming him and herself.

"Hello, Carlisle, you must be proud of your son." I said with a forced smile as I noticed the other vampires were watching us.

"We are all excited for Edward to marry Bella. They are truly a beautiful and happy couple together." Carlisle said.

Chaska snorted as Seth chuckled.

"Yes, young love. You know there are rumors going around that Edward and Bella are only getting married because she's pregnant. I wonder who started that rumor?" I asked.

Chaska and Seth started laughing.

"I didn't know that." Carlisle answered.

"Well now you do." I said.

Rosalie started playing the piano.

Bella and Charlie started walking down the aisle and as all the guests stood up to watch the bride walk down to her groom.

Edward held out his hand. Charlie took Bella's hand and, in a symbol as old as the world, placed it in Edward's hand as Jacob showed up. The other Cullens glared at Jacob.

"What the hell is Black doing here?" Emmett hissed, watching Jacob.

"This is the feeling I had." I said as I watched Jacob walk up the aisle and Bella let go of Edward's hand.

Bella faced Jacob and Edward was glaring at Jacob.

"Jacob where have you been?" Bella asked.

"Is she really stopping her wedding to ask Jacob where he's been?" Seth asked.

Bella stood there, shaking and trembling, trying to calm herself.

I rolled my eyes.

"Bella, I love you and I know you love me. You don't have to marry him." Jacob said.

"Jacob." Bella said.

Bella started crying.

"Bella." Edward said.

"Bella, listen to your heart." Jacob said.

"Do you still want to marry me?" Edward asked, his voice was calm, too calm. His face emotionless.

"I don't know." Bella answered with a whimper.

It sounded pathetic to me.

"You don't know?" Edward questioned, losing his composure momentarily.

Charlie stood up.

I stood up and quickly walked up the aisle and stood next to Bella.

"Excuse me, everyone, Bella and I need to have a talk." I said as I grabbed Bella's hand and glared at anyone who would try and stop me from leaving with Bella.

Bella and I walked into the house and I sat down on the couch.

"Bella, what do you feel for Jacob?" I asked.

"As soon as Jacob walked up that aisle. As soon as I saw him, I questioned everything. All the decisions I've made." Bella hesitated. "I... I still love him. I'm in love with him. He's my personal sun. I always I could never really be happy with Edward as I am when I'm with Jacob." Bella answered.

I sighed.

"I know why you're marrying Edward and if you really want to be with Jacob then I will protect you." I said.

"Would you really?" Bella asked.

"Jacob is like a son to me and you're important to him so yes I will." I answered.

Bella smiled as I wiped away her tears.

"You know my dad talked about you all the time. I knew you were important to him. The sister he never had. I'm happy you're back. I thought after the change...my dad would still have you to keep him in check." Bella said.

"But he will he have the both of us." I said.

"Oh God, how do I tell Edward?" Bella asked.

"Don't worry, you leave that to me. Go upstairs, change out of that dress and drive to la push." I answered.

"Thank you." Bella said.

"You're welcome." I said.

I walked back outside and up the aisle and stood in front of everyone with a smile on my face.

"I'm sorry to announce that there will be no wedding today. Please everyone go and enjoy the reception, we shouldn't let anything here go to waste." I said as I turned to Edward.

I knew his family and the other vampires could hear me.

"Bella has chosen Jacob and it is best for you and your kind to leave her alone and if any of you and I mean those creepy leaders of your kind try to cause any harm to her or those around her. I will kill all of you. I will erase your kind from this Earth. Have a nice life, Edward." I said.

"Your mom rocks." Seth said as I smiled.
