I felt a warmth rush through me almost like adrenaline, which shook me awake, even though I knew that I had been woken up from the curse, I felt a little bit anxious about who woke me up, well I say a little bit anxious but my stomach was knotted with anxiety so I guess that it was more than a little bit anxious, but I was anxious as it could've been any Tom, Dick or Joe that woke me up, you know.

I woke up to see Jennette sat on the edge of the bed, just like I dreamed her to be, my heart fluttered when I realised that she broke the curse, I was so happy that the curse was lifted, thanks to her giving me a true loves kiss, I couldn't help but have the biggest, cheesiest smile that anybody had ever seen in their life, (though wouldn't you do the same in my position?), (the anxiety threw itself out the window as soon as I saw Jennette).

"Jennette!"
"Briar Rose!, you're awake!"
"Jennette you saved me!"
"But you need to realise that I am also the one who cursed you Briar Rose"
"Well yes Jennette I do realise that, but I also realise that you only cursed me to get back at my parents for murdering your Mum, which totally backfired for you because my parents sent me to live in the woods, and we all know that you didn't even think that they would send me away to the woods to live with 3 fairies because if you thought for a second that they would just send me away, you would've just relocated me for them, I don't think that I like my parents that much"
"(Snorts), you're not wrong there Briar, I'm just glad that you're ok"

Her Emerald eyes sparkled in the sunlight that streamed in from the bedroom window, I could've looked into her stunning eyes all day, as they seemed to sparkle when she's happy, but I also knew that if we didn't make a move right there and then, Jenette would've been thrown into the dungeons as she was a girl that broke the curse that was placed on me, (fucking homophobia had to ruin everything that I had grown to want and need).

"Wait have you been crying?"
"Yes I've been crying because I've missed you so much Briar"
"I've missed you too Jennette, ok we need to leave the castle at once"
"Briar Rose are you even feeling awake enough to run away from here yet?"
"Yes, of course I'm awake enough to run from here Jennette, I've been asleep for a whole bloody week at this point so I'm bursting with so much energy that I need to use it asap otherwise I'll crash"
"Ok I'm just checking, I wouldn't want to over work you or anything"
"I know that you would never do that to me, as you love me too much for that to happen Jennette"

We then giggled at the pure hilarity of the situation, as I guess we needed a good laugh or something before the actual chaos that was to ensue, Jennette then held her hand out for me to grab, obviously I did take it as it made me feel safer about the whole thing.

We tiptoed our way through the hall to the grand hall window, since we figured that if people saw me leave through the front door that they would want to know who woke me up and they would be totally homophobic about it, (though they wouldn't know that Jenette was Maleficent so that was a plus, but regardless it was safer for both of us if we left through the window, well then homophobia wouldn't have a chance to present itself).

We climbed down the castle walls, (though not without a hesitant look back to make sure it was ok), which was 3 floors, with all of its slippery ivy vines and loose unstable bricks, (to this day I'm still very much surprised that we didn't break anything), when we got to the bottom of the castle wall, well we caught a breath of relief and then we both ran as fast as we could, because we knew that we didn't have much time before they found my bed empty.

I could just imagine the pure look of horror on my parents face when they see my bed empty, it would've been priceless to see it but I also didn't want to get caught by them as that would be the end of my happiness, and I didn't want to do that.

Why did we even risk it?, well that's because we both love each other, and I want to spend an eternity with Jennette if I can.
