[ zwei ]

[ zwei ] -- [ two ]

That morning I got out of bed, the sun was rising over the mountains where my school was situated. No one was awake yet at this hour, only the nursing students woke up at the crack of dawn because their classes started at five in the morning. But I wasn't a nursing student at the renowned private university, I was a music major and was able to live at the school thanks to a music scholarship.

In my pajamas, I made my way out of my dorm room in the McCulloch hall, right above the cafeteria building. I pushed the wooden door open that led to the hallway that went into the dining room.

My classes would begin at ten in the morning today, but I had no desire to return to my dorm.

Passing a glass door was a balcony area that overlooked the mountains, the surrounding mansions, and the beach in the distance. I sat at one of the glass tabled with expensive chairs and laid my head down on the cold glass miserably. I thought about my school and how desolate it was. Two miles from civilization, it was a small university hidden in the mountains. Surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery, I thought it would help me forget my nightmares and the monster. It was now that I realized an isolated place was the last place I wanted to be.

Without noticing, I dozed off and woke up at eight in the morning, when more students arrived, mostly commuters who rushed to the caf to get a warm breakfast. Several of them passed me by without a care, but one of them caught my eye. I felt the muscles in my throat contract and it was difficult to breathe when I saw her. She was a normal girl and I didn't know her. But above her head floated a black aura that engulfed her entirely. It was the essence of death and all things bad. The feeling it evoked in me was of paralyzing fear.

My flat mate named Mary, who I shared my bathroom with, sat down beside me and seemed to notice the scared look on my face. Shaking me out of my thoughts, she asked, "What's wrong?"

She looked in the direction where my eyes were looking, but the girl was long gone. I shook my head to clear my thoughts. "There was a girl..." I began, knowing well that she would think I was crazy after today, "Whatever she's doing, its bad and she needs to stop."

The girl was long gone, but I could still feel the evil presence that surrounded her. Just as I felt the evil that surrounded me.

I went to my first class, classical piano masterpieces, with Professor Wagner, in my pajamas. I was still too afraid to return to my dorm room.

but i wanted to update this. just giving you all a little facts, the university in the story is literally inspired on my university. it literally IS two miles from civilization. its in the middle of the mountains.

its a really nice school. but i remember i had to dorm for orientation and i couldnt sleep cause i was so scared.

it was too lonely at night for my liking.

anyway, please enjoy this update.

the chapter is purposefully short, btw. just letting you all know so no one freaks out. lol
