Truth
"I got to go." Dean said.
"You're right your brother needs you." I agreed.
Jenna handed Dean Amara.
"Hey beautiful." He said rocking Amara in his arms.
"Your really good with her." Jenna commented.
"What can I say chicks dig me." He said.
I shook my head laughing. "I'm sure that's what it is."
"Of course." He laughed handing Amara to Jenna.
Dean pulled me in for a hug.
"If you need anything just call me okay?"
"Im perfectly capable of going and getting my own ice cream Dean." I joked.
I put a hand on my stomach as the baby started kicking.
"You missy better be nice to your mommy." Dean said holding my stomach.
"How do you know it's a girl?" I asked.
"It's just a feeling." He answered.
Funny thing was id gotten the same feeling. Id had a dream about her last night. She was dancing around in the sunlight. When she stopped she ran over and hugged me. She called me mommy.
"You better get going. Who knows what your brothers gotten himself into." I told him.
Dean laughed heading to his car. Jenna handed me Amara as we watched Dean drive off.
"Come in girls I'll put the baby down while you two get some rest." Her mam said.
I nodded handing her Amara. I kissed Amara's forehead before heading to my room. I took off my shirt. I lifted the shirt I was wearing up which happened to be Dean's up. I ran my hand over my slightly bulging stomach. I crawled into bed quickly falling to sleep.
I woke up hours later to a loud pounding sound. I got up not bothering to put shorts back on. The shirt covered my mid-thigh anyway. I found Jenna and her mam in the hallway too.
"Was that a raccoon?" Her mam asked.
"No it's not a raccoon. I assure you that." I said.
Jenna and her mam looked at me weird. There was another loud sound from Amara's room. Jenna rushed into her room. Amara was juggling blocks above her head. Two flew from above her into the wall spelling out feed me.
"Crap." I muttered under my breathe.
I never thought she would progress this fast. I figured it'd be a week before I had to worry about it.
"Jenna don't go in there." Mam said closing the door. "That child had the devil in it."
"I assure you mam the devil is not in that child." I said. "But your right neither of you should go near Amara. I will take care of everything."
"Nobody is going near that child." Mam said pulling us downstairs.
I was about to slip upstairs, grab Amara and leave when a man entered the house. I knew instantly he was the king of hell.
"Well i have to say your better then Lucy but then again anyone would be." I commented leaning against the wall.
He looked over at me; eyeing me up and down.
"Father Crowely." He introduced taking my hand.
"You know each other?" Jenna asked.
"No I knew there person before him though. Nasty person really." I said.
As Crowely say down Dean barged into the house.
"Crowely?" He asked confused.
"Father Crowely." He corrected.
"Do you guys know each other?" Jenna asked looking between baffled Dean and Crowely.
"Dean was a scrumptious young alter boy." Crowely said.
I nearly burst out laughing at that one.
"Father Crowely may we speak outside?" He asked through clenched jaws.
"Yes I think the grown ups should talk." I agreed.
"After I finish my tea." He answered obviously doing it in spite of Dean.
"What are you doing here?" Dean asked as soon as we got outside.
"Same thing as you. I'm on a case." Crowely answered.
"Amara is not a case. Neither of you need to be here. She's my responsibility." I said frowning.
"Of course you would say that. You have the same powers so obviously your related. And you hold his child in your womb. Really darling why him off all people?" Crowely asked.
"I was young I truly believed he loved me. But he didn't he used me so that her could lock me and my mother up. He will never see this child ever." I seethed.
"What are we talking about?" Dean asked completely confused.
"There is old power in that house. It's the same as hers. I have no idea what it is. As for the child well I'll leave that for another time." Crowely answered smugly.
There was a screaming sound from inside.
"God damn it I told that stupid girl not to go near her." I growled disappearing.
I reappeared in front of Amara.
"Hey baby." I whispered taking her from her crib.
Dean and Crowely appeared not long after.
"Where's Jenna?" Dean asked walking to me.
"She's not here." I answered.
Dean moved the collar of Amara's onesie to see the mark of Cain.
"Do you have one too?" He asked.
He hoped he was wrong and that I didn't. I nodded lifting Dean's shirt to reveal the mark just under my breast. Dean ran his finger over it before they both left the room as they heard sounds of something breaking. That's when Amara started to change. I set her down as she grew into a small child.
She smiled up at me taking my hand. I handed her a dress that would fit her. She quickly put it on.
"Let's go." I whispered taking Amara's small hand in mine.
The two of us headed down the hallway quickly. The two of them could handle a soulless Jenna.
