"Come on Sam. This is fun." Dean said. "I even texted that one girl you used to like she said she'd be here. Actually she never texted me back."

"I'm good Dean." Sam answered.

"Fine your loss." Dean laughed heading into the bar.

Dean was kinda glad Sam hadn't wanted to come. Dean wanted Sam to let loose but he'd asked Aurora to come.

Dean looked around the bar for her. His face lit up when he saw Aurora sitting alone in the back. People parted as Dean made his way to her.

"What's with you and ice cream?" Dean asked laughing.

Aurora smiled taking a bite of her ice cream." Its a craving."

"Can I have a bite of your ice cream?"

Aurora held out a spoon of ice cream for him as he sat next to her. As Dean was about to eat it Aurora put it in her mouth instead.

"Your so mean to me." Dean said holding a hand to his chest in mock hurt.

"Me? Mean?" She laughed.

Dean nodded. Aurora took another bite of ice cream before pressing her lips to his. Dean was surprised at first but then kissed her back taking the cold ice cream from her mouth.

"Maybe I was wrong." He laughed.

Dean groaned at the sudden change of light. He slid into the car smiling.

"Oh Hi." A naked blonde said from the back seat.

Dean looked back surprised.

"I'll just give you guys a minute." Dean said smirking.

The girl quickly got dressed and left.

"I really needed that." Sam said buttoning up his flannel." You know I tried giving her my phone number."

Dean made a Bob Segar sing reference but want really listening. He was thinking about something Aurora had said.

Flashback

"Don't be so hard on him Dean he only wants to keep you safe." Aurora said resting a hand on his arm.

Dean sighed eating some of her ice cream.

"He was so rude to you. He acted like you were some grotesque failed science experiment. And he called the baby a thing." Dean yelled.

Dean remembered very clearly exactly what Cas had said.

"You know what she is right?" Cas asked his face showing no emotion.

"Yes I do know what Aurora is." Dean answered.

"And you know what that thing in her womb is and who that things father is right?"

"Yes Cas I know who the father of the child growing in Aurora is. I know everything Cas." Dean yelled anger seeping through every cell.

"It's not the worst thing someone's don't to me Dean." She stated letting dean feed her ice cream.

"That's not the point and you know it."

"He cares Dean. He wants to make sure you and your brother are safe. I can tell he means a lot to you guys and you guys to him. Be happy about that Dean." Aurora said resting her hand in his cheek.

End of flashback

"Have you ever thought about settling down with someone? A hunter maybe. Someone who understood the job." Sam asked.

"No." Dean lied.

Honestly he had and recently too. Aurora made him feel things he'd never felt before. Around Aurora he felt the need to just be around her. Be close to her. Just thinking about her made him happy. He wanted to protect Aurora and that unborn baby girl with every ounce of his being.

Sam sighed next to him.

"Let's just go check out this new case. It's probably nothing." He said.

"Why don't you lay back and get some z's." Dean said.

Sam nodded leaning back in the impala.

Hours later

"Hey Cas." Dean greeted sitting in the car.

"Hey Dean. I'm sorry really I am. I."

"I know Cas. It's fine really. I've forgiven you." Dean sighed.

"It was Aurora wasn't it?" Cas asked.

"She may have persuaded me." Dean whispered.

"What do you need help with?" He asked.

"This scene looks staged. It looks like someone dragged the body here." Dean explained.

"Hmm. Let me look." Cas said.

"Cas I'll be right back." Dean stated going to talk to deputy dumb ass.

Cas continued to talk as Dean took the deputy down. Dean shot the deputy in the heart a few times before opening the car door to sit down.

"Sorry Cas. I'm back. Turns out I did shoot the deputy." He laughed.

The deputy shortly crawled back up.

"I'll be right back."

Dean grabbed his knife getting out of the car again. Dean quickly cut off the deputies head. He sat back in car satisfied.

"Its okay Cas I cut off its head."

"Dean it's not what we thought it was. They only feed during solstice. The next solstice isn't for another five years." Cas explained.

Dean frowned at the still moving head of the deputy.

"Well what do you think it is?" Dean asked.

"It's called a nachzehrer. It's a dead Dean. It eats the hearts of people."

"So is a ghoulwolf. Come on Cas you know you want to say it." Dean laughed." So how do you kill it?"

"You have to put a coin in its mouth but it has to be made of copper." Cas informed him.

"Okay well I'll get back to you."
