Chapter 7: Visions of a Better Time

I stood in front of the Guild Hall's doors.

"Ready Loke?" The celestial spirit with spiky orange hair and a full suit behind me nodded. It's time.

Natsu

It was a normal day. I was busy fighting Gray, with Happy cheering me on, when the doors of the guild opened. I looked and the new girl, Tsuki, stood there. She reminds me of Lucy. I thought, and the familiar twang of pain at her memory went through me.

"What's wrong Natsu!?" Gray yelled at me.

"Nothing Ice Princess!" I yelled back. That's when she spoke...

Lucy

"Please!" I yelled, heart suddenly racing. "I need to tell you something!"

Natsu

Me and Gray immediately stopped and turned towards her. What is she about to say?

Luxy

"My name is not Tsuki Drakon." I shouted. I could see the looks of confusion on the guild member's faces, save Wendy's, who was smiling.

"My real name... Is Lucy Heartfilia."

Natsu

It can't be! I thought staring. She smells like her, but it can't be! I was opening my mouth to speak, when Gray yelled. "But that's impossible!" I could tell he was angry."you look nothing like her!"

Lucy

I could feel Loke shift behind me. He stepped forward. "Actually, it isn't."

"Loke!?" This was said by the majority of the guild. He nodded.

"As you can see," he waved his arm. "I'm here, and I still have a contract with Lucy. If this wasn't Lucy, I wouldn't be here." He pointed to me while my guildmates looked shocked. I stepped forward.

"I'm sorry for leaving you, but I had to." I looked down in shame. "I was told that a dark presence is looming over Fiore and that I'm the only one that can stop it."

"How?" I'm not sure who asked the question, but I'm sure everyone thought it. I smiled.

"Natsu, I'll accept your challenge now." He looked stunned.

"What?"

"You Asked to fight earlier," I smiled "so I accept." Natsu grinned.

"Alright Lucy, you're on!"

We had moved outside to fight. All of the guild was crowding around, trying to see us.

"Well, ladies first!" Natsu taunted, grinning from ear to ear.

"If you insist.." I said, before rushing him. He started to dodge, but I was able to land a jab to his side before he rolled left. He smiled, clutching his side.

"Not bad, but how about this!" He cupped his hands to his mouth.

"FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!!" He yelled, and a huge blast of flames shot towards me.

"CELESTIAL DRAGON'S METEOR!!" I yelled, as my right hand became engulfed in bright, warm light. My fist impacted the flames, Dissipating them. I saw Natsu standing there, jaw on the floor.

"You're a dragon slayer?!" Everyone around us yelled.

"Not only that," Loke said, stepping forward."A celestial dragonborn." Everyone looked confused. Loke sighed then continued.

"Lucy was busy. Not only did she get trained by the celestial dragon in dragon slaying and god slaying magic, but she also trained with each of her ten zodiac spirits, learning our abilities. Add that training onto her natural abilities as a dragonborn?" Loke shrugged. "Not only did she summon all ten of us, but she then fought us all at once, and won." He grinned. All of the guild members except Natsu were shocked by what Loke had said. Natsu was grinning instead.

"A challenge," the flames around his hands grew to envelop him completely. "C'mon luce!" He yelled. "Show me what you've got!" I smirked. Suddenly, I appeared behind Natsu.

"Boo!" I said, before reappearing back where I started. The guild member's looks of confusion deepened, if that was possible.

"That is my unique ability as a dragonborn." I explained. "Every dragonborn has one, and mine is teleportation." I don't think the guild's jaws could have been lower.

"I'm still gonna win!" Natsu yelled, determined. I sighed. Well then. I teleported behind him.

"Silence of the stars!" I said, touching the back of his head. He instantly fell to the ground, unconscious. Gray charged at me.

"What did you do to him!?" I easily sidestepped him as he attempted to tackle me.

"It's a simple knockout spell." I explained before he could attack again. "He'll be fine in a few minutes." Gray scoffed, but said nothing.

"Wow Lucy!" I turned and behind me stood Levy, looking nearly the same as she did seven years ago. With her was Gajeel, who also hadn't changed much. I smiled at the script mage and iron dragon slayer.

"Hey you two." I said. "I'm sorry I was gone for so long!"

"It's alright." Levy said. She seemed sad. "You had to leave, in order to protect us."

"It still doesn't make it right."

"Relax bunny girl." Gajeel spoke up. "You did what you needed to to." I smiled at him. I heard a groan from behind me. Natsu was starting to get up.

"Urrrff.." He groaned.

"Sorry!" I yelled running to his side. "I tried not to hurt you." He started laughing at that. Nope, still crazy. I thought.

"That was awesome!!" Natsu yelled. Suddenly, what seemed like a black meteor slammed into my chest, whereupon I started cradling it.

"Luuuccyyy!" It said, crying. I recognized it as Lea.

"I'm sorry." I said, tearing up. "Can you forgive me?" Lea looked up at me, sniffing.

"Of course!" She yelled.

"Quite impressive." It seemed the guild had overcome it's shock, and was rushing, lead by Erza. Everyone started shouting and welcoming me back. I'm so happy! I thought, looking at the sea of faces surrounding me.
