Chapter 12: Allies

Ayyyyy! So, changing updates to once a week. I know, I lied about how I would update again, but I've been focusing on my other story recently, so that's why. Speaking of which, if you want a grittier story, I would check it out. Yours, J.A.G.

Lucy

"Sweet, Sweet ground!" Natsu was on his knees, kissing the train platform.

"So why are we here?" Will asked. I looked out upon the small village we were in. It should be around here.

"You guys stay here." I said, ignoring him, at least for now. "Find us a place to stay. I need to do something." Will scowled, and said nothing. Natsu was still busy praising the sky. I teleported east, looking for something.

There. I spotted the small log cabin Erza had told me about. I hope she was right. I walked up to the door and knocked. The door opened, revealing a tall man with blue hair and a red tattoo on his face.

"Hello Jellal!" I said smiling. He looked confused.

"Do I know you?" He asked. I sighed.

"It's a long story. Can I come in?" Jellal looked over his shoulder at something inside. He turned back and nodded to me, holding the door open. Inside, I saw a man with a scar over his right eye. He had long, pointed ears, and spiky hair. He was sitting at the table in the middle of the cabin. The inside of the cabin itself was very sparse.

"C-Cobra!" I stood standing in shock. He's the poison dragon slayer, and a member of the Oracion Seis! He smiled.

"Haven't heard that name in a while." Cobra suddenly turned serious. "Very few people know about this place, so why do you?"

"Is this it?" I asked. Cobra snarled, then noticed the guildmark on my arm. He instantly relaxed, Sighing.

"Erza sent you, didn't she?" Jellal asked, stepping in front of me. "Why?" He looked serious. I explained to him all that had happened, starting with the day I left the guild. Jellal and Cobra sat patiently throughout my story.

"..And so, I was sent by Erza to get your guys' help."

"Done." Cobra stood, cracking his knuckles.

"We've actually been hunting these guys ourselves for quite some time." Jellal said. "So helping the guild who has helped us the most by destroying one of our targets?" He shrugged, then turned to cobra. "Erik, wait here for the others, then take them to fairy tail." Cobra nodded. "I assume," Jellal said, turning back to me. "That you are currently looking for the whereabouts of this guild?" I nodded. Jellal smiled.

"I think I can help with that."

Natsu

"Cmon Will!" I yelled. "Just tell me where Luce went!" He shook his head.

"Trust me, I don't like waiting here either, but she told us to stay put." We were currently sitting in a hotel in the middle of the village. "Besides, I don't even know where she went anyways." I fumed. I always hated it when she was gone. It was like I was missing an arm or something. Listen to yourself! I thought. Just admit you love her! No! Said another part of me. What if she doesn't love me back! I looked to Will. I'll just ask Will if she does. He is her brother, maybe he can tell.

"Ummm." I said, nervously. Will looked at me.

"What?"

"Do you know if Lucy likes me?" He sat there, watching me for a second, before he broke out laughing.

"You... Really are... clueless, aren't you?" He said, inbetween laughs. He calmed down after a minute, and sighed.

"Natsu," He said. "I'm pretty sure she loves you." My heart soared, I was so happy. Lucy loves me! Just then the door of the hotel opened, and Lucy stepped in, Jellal in tow.

Lucy

"Change of plans, guys." I said. Will looked out of breath, and Natsu had stars in his eyes. Weird, "Jellal has an idea where we can find information on Dark moon." Jellal cleared his throat.

"Yes, in a town not far from here, there have been rumors that a new dark guild was spotted in the area. It's said that their guildmark resembles a moon crossing the horizon." He shrugged. "It's worth checking out. I will accompany you, as I have business there anyways."

"Alright, let's go!" Natsu yelled. He started running out the door, then froze, he slipped over. "We have to take the train again, don't we." I giggled at his sudden change of attitude.

"It's close enough so that I can just teleport us there." I said. "Everyone, grab hold." I held out my hand. Everyone grabbed it, and we disappeared in a puff of golden smoke.

We landed in a forest. We all looked around until Will yelled.

"I see the town over there!" He pointed through some trees at a small town about a mile away. "I guess we'll have to walk the rest of the way." We walked through the woods, until we came across a road that lead into the town. As we walked, I noticed that Natsu was skipping. Skipping! Is he sick, or something! I thought about how I found Will and Natsu in the hotel. I bet Will knows what's going on!

Will

As we were walking, Lucy came over to me, seething. I smiled.

"Hello big sister, what seems to be wrong?" I said sweetly. Well, as sweetly as i could, anyways. She growled.

"Dear brother, what did you say to Natsu?" She asked. I chuckled.

"ME, dear sister? Why I did nothing but point out the obvious." I chuckled again, as her eyes widened in realization. They quickly went back to slits.

"I don't need you messing with my love life!" She hissed, quietly enough so only I could hear it. I laughed, earning a look from Jellal. Lucy quickly went back to looking innocent, but as soon as Jellal turned away, she started fuming again.

"For what it's worth, He asked me." That was a mistake. I thought, and flinched in anticipation of Luce's reaction. But instead of getting mad, she had the same stars in her eyes Natsu did.

"Really?" She asked. I opened my mouth to reply, but she cut me off. "Ooooo. THis is great! wait until I tell Levy and Mira!" She walked away, mumbling about Happiness, Mira, and other assorted things. I shook my head. Man, these two are hopeless.
